  - Reports Joyce Morgan of Snellville Georgia: "We have less wasps, no bees, hardly any flies, butterflies, moths, and dragon flies.
    
    "Usually we have a ton of these around the house and the yard. I have seen very few of these. We used to have the big bumble bees around also. The Lord says we should watch the signs of the times."
  - In other cases,
    there are enough birds, but
    what is perceived as strange behavior
  - "I am a CPA and my office on the third floor
    of an office building contains two walls of windows (northern and western
    exposure)," wrote Joan Pauqtte of Vero Beach, Florida, back last spring
    -- which for some communities was a "silent" one.
  - "Around noon, I was suddenly distracted by a huge flock of birds (small birds, not crows) flying at a rapid pace towards the north-northwest. It struck me as strange as more and more birds came from the south and the east, flying over and around my office building to meet up with the leaders.
    
    "This continued for quite a few minutes. I estimate that there were hundreds of birds in that flock. Very unusual.
  - I've had this office and its view for twelve years now and I've
    never witnessed such behavior or such quantities of birds in this small
    town. I couldn't help but wonder if they 'knew' something and were
    responding to it. Danger? Change in atmospheric conditions?"
  - We are not aviary experts.
    Perhaps it was
    a migratory pattern.
  - We have written about the predominance of
    birds of prey and crows. Might they be a "sign" of something askew,
    spiritually or ecologically?
  - "While not dismissing the negative experience of people with crows, the
    previous article on the subject left me with a bad feeling, as if we were
    almost sliding into superstition," notes a viewer, however -- lending us a
    balanced perspective.
  - We can say this: there has been
    strangeness.
  - An article last week pointed out
    that certain animals not prone to attack humans have been attacking, while
    another reported that the oceans (and certain of the fish in them) are on
    a downward spiral.
  - Others
    wonder whether there has been strange genetic research. If there is
    meddling with God's creatures, it is a sin.
  - We know that already scientists have engineered pigs with human blood or even a bioluminescent gene that produces an enzyme making those animals glow subtly in the dark.

  - The gene,
    named after the "lightbearer," is luciferase. See Tower of Light
    for many more examples.
  - Two weeks ago, mainstream newspapers in the New York
    metropolitan area were carrying photographs of a strange creature they
    dubbed the "Montauk
    Monster." It looked like a dog with a beak and washed up,
    allegedly, onto Montauk, which is at the tip of Long Island.
  - It was all over the
    mainstream press. It might have been a raccoon in a state of decomposition, some
    speculate, or simply a
    dog -- or pig -- in a similar state. Some said it was a shell-less turtle
    (although turtles have no teeth on the lower jaw).
  - You'll excuse us for using the photo
    [above, left]. But it's worth a thousand words.
  - At least one Long
    Island informant tells us it
    was not the first such instance -- that a very similar-looking but smaller
    creature also washed up recently.
  - Is it a hoax,
    or decayed wildlife? Someone absconded with it, preventing a DNA
    sample, which would settle things
  - Until it is identified, residents
    can be forgiven for wondering if it might be related to genetic research.
  - The reason: just off Montauk is a mysterious government-owned island called Plum Island.
    
    The U.S. Department of Agriculture acquired the island from the War Department at the end of World War II with a charter from Congress to study animal diseases such as Foot and Mouth Disease.
    
    Are they also meddling with DNA?
  - "Plum Island is a legend, but not a myth," states
    
    an article on the website of the Council
    for Responsible Genetics.
  - "Just off Orient Point, and six
    miles from the Connecticut coast, Plum Island is the site of a United
    States Agriculture Department Animal Disease Research Center.
  - Lyme Disease takes its name from a
    Connecticut town across from the island: many wonder whether birds or
    swimming animals could have brought the disease from Plum Island. Some
    suspect this might be the case with West Nile Virus as well.
  - "In surrounding communities,
    distrust of Plum Island runs deep.
  - Plum Island
    officials, of course, dismiss such hypotheses as fantasy."
  - It sounds far out -- like big foot
  - And perhaps it is. But the fact is that the island was slated to be upgraded to an ultra-high hazard bio-safety level-four facility, and genetic research may in fact occur there.
    
    Might they have fashioned a strange new creature? Are we transgressing God to that point -- at this place and point in time?
  - "At
    hearings, officials treated such concerns as childish myths and said the
    upgrade to BSL-4 was simply to prepare for naturally emerging zoonotic
    diseases," said the article.
  - "Yet the Laboratory’s new Director, Colonel David L. Huxsoll, is
    the former commander of the Army’s top biological warfare laboratory at
    Fort Detrick, in Maryland.
  - Is Plum Island a quasi-military installation?
    Sailors who stray too close return with that impression."
  - In the 1980s, Colonel Huxsoll was a leading
    figure in the Reagan Administration’s drive to apply genetic technologies
    to biological 'defense.'
  - And so it goes, in the words of a famous author who lived in this area.
    
    "I'm here on Long Island and know all about the 'Montauk monster' and, yes, it is true," said that Long Island correspondent of ours.
  - "The
    thing that you may not know, however, is that it is not the only one spotted
    here on the island.
  - A woman in my office was at her desk reading about this
    thing that washed up and her husband called. He said, 'Doesn't that thing look
    exactly like what we saw on the beach in Quogue?' She and her husband have a
    house on the east end and one day while walking along the beach, they came
    across a creature almost identical to this 'monster', except it was small like
    a baby version. Other reports have come to the same effect."
  - She continues:
    "All of this begs the question, what are they doing on Plum Island?
  - We know
    that Plum Island has always had a
    reputation for scientific experimentation. The government has always claimed
    that they were doing biological research to find a cure for things like hoof
    and mouth disease. Then, as time passed as the public became less naive, we
    realized that it was probably more like biological weaponry.
  - That was hard
    enough to deal with; now this."
  - But really: now what?
    
    Oh, but back to birds.
  - "I have been reading with much interest about the disappearance of the birds
    as I am an avid backyard bird enthusiast," says a viewer from East Kingston
    New Hampshire. "I have been feeding my feathered friends for many years and attract
    many species to my feeders and every day the feeders are packed with many birds.
  - The bread still remains on the ground and the feeders are still full with only a few birds showing up. A coincidence? I leave
    it to your discernment.
  - "Today, I fed the birds as usual, but
    there were hardly any birds
    around!
  - Personally I feel that the government may be experimenting with some new kind of aircraft that requires
    a
    chemical in the skies (maybe to block it from radar?). Certainly any kind of chemical up there can not be healthy for us or the wildlife below."

- - I have been covering Hannah’s story for some time. I did research on some aspects of the story. There was only her word for what happened and that of her husband.
  - From the outset, let me say, I did and still believe that Hannah did experience what she said.
  - I do, however, want to say, in research, proof is needed. That is what was missing.
  - I visited the site today and saw the proof. While it is not conclusive at any means. It does provide more of a framework for the incident.
  - There is no doubt that there are secret covert agencies working in the government and private sector. These agencies work totally out of the mainstream. They are not governed by laws. They are directed by men who are powerful, secretive, and smart enough to do all they want under the radar of the masses.
  - Now as to who did the kidnapping and why? There is proof that the program Stargate did exist.

- - As the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks nears, Homeland Security agents are on heightened alert for young Turkish Muslims who may be trying to enter the U.S. as part of an al-Qaida terrorist operation, WND has learned from counterterrorism officials and internal agency documents.

    Siddiqui, an MIT-educated microbiologist who fled to Pakistan after 9/11.
  - Siddiqui was found with a list of New York targets including the Empire State Building, Wall Street, the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and the subway system. Notes in her possession also included information about a mass attack and referred to construction of dirty bombs.
  - In addition, a computer flash drive found on Siddiqui referred to "attacks" by certain "cells."
  - Siddiqui is close to a Saudi-American considered by the FBI to be "the next Mohamed Atta." Adnan al-Shukrijumah, aka "Jafar the Pilot," allegedly conspired with al-Qaida dirty bomber Jose Padilla.

  - WND has learned that customs and border agents are also taking a closer look at female Muslim travelers, and handicapped Muslim travelers and their aides.

    My husband and I were just talking about how they would use the economic woes as a means of pushing the Amero. It's frightening how much gets shoved through without the major populations' approval, that is, if they're aware of it in the first place. That in itself is so disheartening. How, many of us are totally clueless as to how screwed we are if this runaway train isn't derailed immediately.

  - COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum..
  - There are several techniques for the control and manipulation of a internet forum no matter what, or who is on it.
  - We will go over each technique and demonstrate that only a minimal number of operatives can be used to eventually and effectively gain a control of a 'uncontrolled forum.'
  - Technique #1 - 'FORUM SLIDING'
  - If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum - it can be quickly removed from public view by 'forum sliding.'
  - In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to 'age.' Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a 'forum slide.'
  - The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public.
  - To trigger a 'forum slide' and 'flush' the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then 'replying' to prepositined postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting 'slides' down the front page, and quickly out of public view.
  - Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.
  - Technique #2 - 'CONSENSUS CRACKING'
  - A second highly effective technique (which you can see in operation all the time at www.abovetopsecret.com) is 'consensus cracking.'
  - To develop a consensus crack, the following technique is used.
  - Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting.
  - Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting.
  - It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth.
  - As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favour is slowly 'seeded in.' Thus the uninformed reader will most like develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped.
  - However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.'
  - Technique #3 - 'TOPIC DILUTION'
  - Topic dilution is not only effective in forum sliding it is also very useful in keeping the forum readers on unrelated and non-productive issues.
  - This is a critical and useful technique to cause a 'RESOURCE BURN.'
  - By implementing continual and non-related postings that distract and disrupt (trolling ) the forum readers they are more effectively stopped from anything of any real productivity.
  - If the intensity of gradual dilution is intense enough, the readers will effectively stop researching and simply slip into a 'gossip mode.'
  - In this state they can be more easily misdirected away from facts towards uninformed conjecture and opinion.
  - The less informed they are the more effective and easy it becomes to control the entire group in the direction that you would desire the group to go in.
  - It must be stressed that a proper assessment of the psychological capabilities and levels of education is first determined of the group to determine at what level to 'drive in the wedge.'
  - By being too far off topic too quickly it may trigger censorship by a forum moderator.
  - Technique #4 - 'INFORMATION COLLECTION'
  - Information collection is also a very effective method to determine the psychological level of the forum members, and to gather intelligence that can be used against them.
  - In this technique in a light and positive environment a 'show you mine so me yours' posting is initiated. From the number of replies and the answers that are provided much statistical information can be gathered.
  - An example is to post your 'favourite weapon' and then encourage other members of the forum to showcase what they have.
  - In this matter it can be determined by reverse proration what percentage of the forum community owns a firearm, and or a illegal weapon.
  - This same method can be used by posing as one of the form members and posting your favourite 'technique of operation.' From the replies various methods that the group utilizes can be studied and effective methods developed to stop them from their activities.
  - Technique #5 - 'ANGER TROLLING'
  - Statistically, there is always a percentage of the forum posters who are more inclined to violence.
  - In order to determine who these individuals are, it is a requirement to present a image to the forum to deliberately incite a strong psychological reaction.
  - From this the most violent in the group can be effectively singled out for reverse IP location and possibly local enforcement tracking.
  - To accomplish this only requires posting a link to a video depicting a local police officer massively abusing his power against a very innocent individual.
  - Statistically of the million or so police officers in America there is always one or two being caught abusing there powers and the taping of the activity can be then used for intelligence gathering purposes - without the requirement to 'stage' a fake abuse video.
  - This method is extremely effective, and the more so the more abusive the video can be made to look. Sometimes it is useful to 'lead' the forum by replying to your own posting with your own statement of violent intent, and that you 'do not care what the authorities think!!' inflammation.
  - By doing this and showing no fear it may be more effective in getting the more silent and self-disciplined violent intent members of the forum to slip and post their real intentions. This can be used later in a court of law during prosecution.
  - Technique #6 - 'GAINING FULL CONTROL'
  - It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position.
  - Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings - and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public.
  - This is the 'ultimate victory' as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms.
  - Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline.
  - However it is not always in the interest to kill a forum as it can be converted into a 'honey pot' gathering center to collect and misdirect newcomers and from this point be completely used for your control for your agenda purposes.
  - By this method the forum can be quickly killed.
  - CONCLUSION
  - Remember these techniques are only effective if the forum participants DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM.
  - Once they are aware of these techniques the operation can completely fail, and the forum can become uncontrolled.
  - At this point other avenues must be considered such as initiating a false legal precidence to simply have the forum shut down and taken offline.
  - This is not desirable as it then leaves the enforcement agencies unable to track the percentage of those in the population who always resist attempts for control against them.
  - Many other techniques can be utilized and developed by the individual and as you develop further techniques of infiltration and control it is imperative to share then with HQ.
  - Personal thoughts: If you stay around here long enough it becomes obvious that these techniques are being intentionally used by a small number of people to dilute the power of freedom minded people who are coming together here to discuss important and sensitive issues.
  - This forum is a powerful tool, and its educational effects cannot be underestimated, especially for those newcomers who aren't yet up to speed on the level of corruption in our government.
  - Many people are just learning and coming to grips with the big issues. That's exactly what the neocons DON'T want, and it's why they send in their vermin....those who use these tactics to distract readers and keep them from hearing different viewpoints on things such as 9/11, Palin, and Bob Barr.
  - The more ignorant the people are, the easier they are to manipulate and control with bullshit propaganda such as the bogus 'war on terror', 9/11 'debunking', and political ploys such as Sara Palin's V.P. run with McCain.
  - UPDATE: Well, of course the trolls are attacking, and are attempting to say that fights like this one are unimportant in an attempt to marginalize the above information.
  - Here's why I think it's vitally important. The Ron Paul Revolution is about exposing the truth. It's about returning to a Constitutional form of government. By necessity, that implies that we have been lied to and that we DON'T have a Constitutional government. If you dispute that, then you are in the wrong place, to say the least.

  - A bombshell article in today’s edition of the New York Times lifts the lid on how the brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, a suspected kingpin of the country’s booming opium trade, has been on the CIA payroll for the past eight years.
  - However, the article serves as little more than a whitewash because it fails to address the fact that one of the primary reasons behind the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan was the agenda to reinstate the Golden Crescent drug trade.
  - “The agency pays (Ahmed Wali) Karzai for a variety of services, including helping to recruit an Afghan paramilitary force that operates at the C.I.A.’s direction in and around the southern city of Kandahar, Mr. Karzai’s home,” reports the Times.
  - An October 2008 report from the Times reveals how, after security forces discovered a huge tractor-trailer full of heroin outside Kandahar in 2004, “Before long, the commander, Habibullah Jan, received a telephone call from Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of President Hamid Karzai, asking him to release the vehicle and the drugs.”
  - In 2006, following the discovery of another cache of heroin, “United States investigators told other American officials that they had discovered links between the drug shipment and a bodyguard believed to be an intermediary for Ahmed Wali Karzai.”
  - The Times article out today also discusses how the CIA uses Karzai as a go-between between the Americans and the Taliban. He is also directly implicated in the manufacturing of phony ballots and polling stations that were attributed to the President’s disputed election victory.
  - “If it looks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck,” the American officer said of Mr. Karzai. “Our assumption is that he’s benefiting from the drug trade.”
  - Officials quoted by The Times described Karzai as a Mafia-like figure who expanded his influence over the drug trade with the aid of U.S. efforts to eliminate his competitors.
  - The Afghan opium trade has exploded since the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, following a lull after the Taliban had imposed a crackdown.
  - According to the U.N., the drug trade is now worth $65 billion. Afghanistan produces 92 per cent of the world’s opium, with the equivalent of 3,500 tonnes leaving the country each year. Other figures put the number far higher, at around 6,100 tonnes a year.
  - The New York Times exposé pins the blame on Karzai, but fails to explain that one of the primary reasons behind the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan was the United States’ agenda to restore, not eradicate, the drug trade.
  - Before the invasion, the Taliban collaborated closely with the U.N. to reduce opium production down to just 185 tonnes, a figure at least 2000% below current levels.
  - The notion that the “Taliban benefits from the drug trade” and that the U.S. is trying to stop it, as both Bush and Obama claimed, is the complete opposite of what is actually happening.
  - As Professor Michel Chossudovsky has highlighted in a series of essays, the explosion of opium production after the invasion was about the CIA’s drive to restore the lucrative Golden Crescent opium trade that was in place during the time when the Agency were funding the Mujahideen rebels to fight the Soviets, and flood the streets of America and Britain with cheap heroin, destroying lives while making obscene profits.

  - One of the “hidden” objectives of the war was precisely to restore the CIA sponsored drug trade to its historical levels and exert direct control over the drug routes,” writes Chossudovsky.
  - “As revealed in the Iran-Contra and Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI) scandals, CIA covert operations in support of the Afghan Mujahideen had been funded through the laundering of drug money.
  - “Dirty money” was recycled –through a number of banking institutions (in the Middle East) as well as through anonymous CIA shell companies–, into “covert money,” used to finance various insurgent groups during the Soviet-Afghan war, and its aftermath.”
  - Within two years of the CIA’s covert operation in Afghanistan, “CIA assets again controlled this heroin trade.
  - As the Mujahideen guerrillas seized territory inside Afghanistan, they ordered peasants to plant opium as a revolutionary tax.
  - Across the border in Pakistan, Afghan leaders and local syndicates under the protection of Pakistan Intelligence operated hundreds of heroin laboratories. During this decade of wide-open drug-dealing, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency in Islamabad failed to instigate major seizures or arrests.”
  - This is the history of the Afghan opium trade that the Times won’t tell you, and in failing to do so today’s article serves only to whitewash the true scale of the agenda behind the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan.

  - It’s all part of a $49 million dollar bio-research effort unveiled last month by the Air Force Research Lab’s “Human Effectiveness Directorate,” and it’s the latest in a series of out-there military ideas to mess with adversaries’ heads.
  - For years, armed forces and intelligence community researchers have toyed with ways of manipulating minds.
  - During the Cold War, the CIA and the military allegedly plied the unwitting with acid, weed, and dozens of psychoactive drugs, in a series of zany (and sometimes dangerous) mind-control experiments.
  - In the 1970s and 80s, a small group of special operations soldiers at Ft. Bragg supposedly tried to teach themselves how to kill with psychic power - the basis for the upcoming movie The Men Who Stare at Goats.
  - In 1994, one Air Force researcher proposed spraying enemies with “strong aphrodisiacs [which] caused homosexual behavior.”
  - Last year, the National Research Council and Defense Intelligence Agency pushed for pharma-based tactics to weaken enemy forces.
  - This new Air Force project looks to do just that - and boost the cognitive abilities of U.S. troops at the same time.
  - One component of the research effort, called Biobehavioral Performance, is looking for military specimens who are already resistant to physical or mental stressors.
  - By analyzing the biochemical brain pathways of troops who are cool under pressure, the Air Force wants an “external stimulant” that can act as a synthetic version of optimal cognitive stress response and keep airmen operating at top level.
  - “Conversely, the chemical pathway area could include methods to degrade enemy performance and artificially overwhelm enemy cognitive capabilities,” the Air Force call for proposals notes.
  - Resisting stress is good, but destroying your enemy with stress is even better.
  - No further details are given. Researchers will just have to be creative, if they want to look for ways to turn military foes insane in the membrane.

    How to degrade enemy performance and artificially overwhelm enemy cognitive capabilities: Step 1 - Create a grid which provides electricity at low cost to all citizens within and around the enemy’s field of influence. Step 2 - Give/provide affordable televisions to all citizens within same region. Step 3 - Reality tv and junk food. Outcome: Brains occupied by mindless drivel, intelligence lowered, obesity increased, enemy performance and cognitive capabilities severely degraded. Mission accomplished.
