On Sept. 11 1857, in Utah Territory, Mormons slaughtered a wagon train with more than 120 California-bound settlers from Arkansas.
-
This became known as the "Mountain Meadows Massacre." The motive was the Mormon "religion."
-
The wagon train was ambushed by a group of men dressed in clothing
of Paiute Indians at a location called "Mountain Meadows." -
There was a
skirmish with mutual casualties forcing the attacking party to
retreat. The settlers fortified themselves behind their wagons. It
was a standoff. -
A couple of days passed and the settlers saw a party
of white men approaching and ran out, thinking they were saved. But it
was a trick. These same men had been the attackers dressed as Indians. -
They disarmed the surprised travelers and proceeded to execute the men,
women, and adolescents in cold blood. -
Many were killed by fracturing the skull
with stones. -
Archeological exhumation of the
victims in this century revealed most of the victims were killed by
close gunshot to the skull. -
120 men, women and children.

Only 17 were spared:
children under 7 years old who were "too young to tell". These children
were given to Mormon families (presumably). -
Brigham Young led a church cover-up, saying that the Natives were
responsible for the massacre. He wrote that pioneers had earlier caused
the death of Natives by giving them poisoned meat, and by poisoning
some of their wells. -

What was the motive of the Holocaust of Christians at Mountain
Meadows Utah? -
Smith didn't participate in the raid but had met with the raiding party before the massacre. Smith was a major Mormon and
a leader of the 'Mormon Reformation' movement of the era. He promoted a
theology called 'Blood Atonement'. -
Mormon 'Apostle' George A. Smith was eventually executed in 1877 as the top
Mormon ordering the genocide. -
The doctrine is that 'Apostates' (non-Mormon Christians) have become so
stained with sin that their souls can only be saved by especially
brutal murder at the hands of the holy. -
But I believe this was the version for the lower
initiate brutes who carried out the carnage. -
I suspect the inner
agenda of this doctrine wasn't 'atonement' at all, but an excuse for
ritual blood sacrifice to Satan for the capstone of the
Mormon hierarchy. -
This
fanaticism motivated the raid under
Smith's order. -
think the massacre was indeed a mass blood sacrifice on the order of
the Druid's harvest 'wicker man' mass sacrifices Julius Caesar wrote
described in his The Gallic Wars. -
I also strongly suspect our 911 mass
murder of nearly 3,000 people is in this tradition -
But he was far enough removed from
evidence to have 'plausible deniability' and cooperated with Washington
by telegram in prosecuting the scapegoats. -
Brigham Young has always been implicated, having reiterated this
theology during the 'Reformation'. -
The
full ritual significance of this particular date to elite Satanist cult
at the head of all these satraps of Satanism remains unknown to us. -
A clue that the Federal US Government, the American press and public,
and even Mark Twain overlooked was the date - September eleven. -
But circumstantially, the list of 'coincidental' mass violent murders
on a grand historical scale having occurred on this date is a long one. -

Many will remember the sight of two
young men dressed in cheap suits riding bicycles, carrying Mormon
bibles, and going door to door. -
One of the sources of the LDS Church's great wealth was recruiting
new members all over America. -
However, these recruiters and the recruited are considered 'outer
temple' back in Salt Lake headquarters. -
Due to this Mormon 'outreach'
to non-Mormons one-to-one across America for a century, most people
know the Mormon bible says that Jesus appeared to the Indians, and an
archangel appeared to Joseph Smith when he was a teenager, letting him
'borrow golden tablets containing amendments to the Gospel of Jesus and
the Ten Commandments. Thus, 'Latter Day Saints'. -
But there's much more, reserved for the Mormon initiate elite.

The rest of the teaching that only inner temple ascended Mormons learn,
is a tale that God convened a meeting of his archangels and two sons,
to determine the improvement of the human race on Earth. -
According to
this story, Jesus and Lucifer are brothers, each with a God-approved
role with humanity. -
In the story God thinks Lucifer's role is more
important than Jesus's talents, so he appoints Lucifer ruler of the
world. -
Now, in high Mormonism, God had at one time have been a child, and
grew up. So men, in the image of God, children of God, can through
enlightenment 'grow up' and become gods. -
They can't be God of earth, of course, Lucifer has dibs on that. So
Mormons teach that a man's ascended soul each get's his own planet,
taking with him many wives to populate his new world. -
On the ladder of initiation in the Mormon hierarchy members buy these
planetary Divine franchises in proportion to the wealth they accumulate
and ty the to the LDS coffers in Salt Lake. -
More powerful in America than people think.

"It is widely known that Mormons have had a disproportionate
representation in the CIA and FBI through the years, -
and that J. Edgar
Hoover started the FBI with Mormon agents. -
They also have a
disproportionate representation in the US Congress - five Mormon
senators and 12 representatives - partly because of the concentration
of Mormons in the Western US." ~ Susan Mazur, Bush and the Mormons,
2004. -
They're in the business of doing
genealogical research for anyone interested in their own family
history, Mormon or not. They're well known for this and regarded as the
best, due to their immense genealogical records already collected and
housed in Salt Lake. Their service isn't cheap, either. -
Something else well known is that the LDS have the most extensive
compilation of authenticated genealogies of individuals of all
religions and races in the world. -
During 1991, woman of a generational Mormon family in Texas who had
become a Setian (member of Satanist NSA General Michael Aquino's then
Temple of Set), informed me that the real Mormon interest in collecting
genealogies is that they believe they souls of the dead can be 'saved'
in a ritual handing them over to Lucifer, if you have their name and
certain information about them. -
She said she had taken part in a
secret ritual conducted in a cavern inside the mountain over Salt Lake,
where the latest names collected from genealogical research are read
and 'sacrificed' to Lucifer. -

In "Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers," Thomas Horn ties moral abandonment to an ancient spirit, known in antiquity as the Greek god Dionysus (Roman Bacchus) who represented the personification of unrestrained sexuality.

"Followers of Dionysus imagined him as the presence that is otherwise defined within man as the craving that longs to 'let itself go' and to 'give itself over' to outlaw desires," says Horn.

"What puritans might resist as the lustful wants of the carnal man or the temptations of the Devil, the followers of Dionysus embraced as the incarnate power that would, in the afterlife, liberate man's soul from the constraints of the present world and from customs which sought to define respectability through obedience to moral law."

According to Horn, worshippers of Dionysus attempted to bring themselves into union with the god through ritual casting off of the bonds of sexual denial and primal constraint by seeking to attain a "higher state of ecstasy."

The uninhibited rituals of ecstasy (Greek for "outside the body") employed lascivious behavior,

flicking of the head backward (as found in most trance inducing cults),

ecstatic communal dancing to the drums and flute,

and overt consumption of wine to bring the followers of Dionysus into a supernatural condition which enabled them to escape the temporary limitations of the body and mind and to achieve an orgiastic state of "enthousiasmos", or "outside the body and inside the god."

In this sense, Dionysus represented a dichotomy in the Greek religion, as the primary maxim of the Greek culture was one of moderation; "nothing too extreme."

Yet Dionysus embodied the absolute extreme in that he sought to inflame the forbidden passions of human desire.

"As students of psychology will understand," Horn continues, "the willful abandonment of social restraints, which defined Dionysus-worship, actually gave the god of wine and revelry a stronger allure, not weaker, among many ancients who otherwise tried in so many ways to suppress and control the secret lusts of the human heart.

Dionysus was a craving that demanded one partake of 'the forbidden fruit' and who threatened madness upon those who denied him free expression. Conversely, persons giving themselves over to the will of Dionysus were promised the lie of unlimited psychological and physical delights."

In Nephilim Stargates, Horn records how the Dionystic idea of mental disease resulting from suppression of secret inner desires, especially aberrant sexual desires, was later reflected in the teachings of Sigmund Freud.

Freudianism is therefore the grandchild of the cult of Dionysus, Horn concludes.

Such mythical systems of mental punishment and physical rewards based on resistance and/or submission to Dionysus were symbolically and literally illustrated in the cult rituals of the Bacchae, as the Bacchae women (married and unmarried Greek women had the legal right to participate in the mysteries of Dionysus) migrated in frenzied hillside groups, dressed transvestite in fawn skins and accompanied by screaming, music, dancing, and omnisexual behavior.

When for instance a baby animal was too young and lacking in instinct to sense the danger and run away from the revelers, it was picked up and suckled by bare-breasted women who participated in the hillside rituals.

Yet when older animals sought to escape the marauding Bacchae, they were considered "resistant" to the will of Dionysus and were torn apart and eaten alive as a part of the fevered ritual.

Horn points to parallels of this condition in today's United States. "What at one time would have been unthinkable – deviant sex acts conducted openly in major U.S. cities – is become acceptable, while 'resisters' of the new Dionysian cult are increasingly labeled enemies of free expression and threatened with hate-crime legislation."

Before the ancient Greek/Roman festival was outlawed in 186 BC by a decree of the Senate – the so-called "Senatus consultum de Bacchanalibus"—as having become too debauched, human participants were increasingly subject to public orgiastic extremes, as the rule of the Bacchanalia became "anything goes," including public sex acts, S&M type torture, bestiality, and even pedophilia.

This article will present three of the major flaws in Campbellite teachings on salvation set forth by modern-day Church of Christ writers, illustrating unscriptural positions which they hold.
-
The letters “SS” will be used to abbreviate reference to THE SPIRITUAL SWORD magazine from which many of the quotations will be taken. “CC” refers to “Church of Christ.”

1. Campbellites of THE SPIRITUAL SWORD cult teach that members of the CC are the only people who are saved.

“The Bible teaches that there are no Christians who are not members of the church of Christ”-Thomas Warren, SS 4/85, p. 6.
-
“The Bible teaches that every one who enters a denomination sins in so doing and that those who remain in a denomination until death will be lost”-Warren, SS 4/85, page 10.

“’There are sincere, knowledgeable, devout Christians scattered among all the various denominations.’ I kindly, but confidently, deny his affirmation”-Garland Elkins, SS 10/85, page 28.

“There are no Christians who are not members of the church of Christ”-Warren, SS 10/83, page 1.

2. Campbellites deny the work of the Holy Spirit in salvation.
-
“Thus we see that the eunuch did not need an angel or the Holy Spirit for salvation, but he did need Philip’s message for salvation”-J. H. Parker, SS 4/76, page 10.

“We can further note that the very efforts of the angel and the Holy Spirit in bringing Philip to the eunuch show that such divine agents are to have no direct role in the salvation of a man, rather that a man is to be converted by his hearing another preach the Gospel to him”-J. H. Parker (op. cit.).

The BIBLE teaches that a man is BORN OF [Greek: “EK” (out of)] God. In every instance where the SOURCE of the new birth is mentioned, the language is EK HIM, EK THE SPIRIT, EK GOD.
-
It is therefore essential that the Holy Spirit work in conjunction with the Gospel, or the Word, as ADDITIONAL to the preaching.
-
Campbellites deny such a work of the Holy Spirit, holding that there is nothing more than the Word in bringing about the new birth.
-
In effect, they deny the very essence of regeneration, which is to be “born from above” (John 3:3). This error leads to their denial of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, as taught by evangelical Christianity, and the denial of the security of the believer.
-
They postulate everything upon man’s “obedience” to the letter of the Word, denying an accompanying work of the Holy Spirit.
-
They represent evangelical Christianity as teaching the work of the Spirit “separate from” and “apart from” the Word, when in reality we teach the position as set forth by Paul:
“For our gospel came not unto you IN WORD ONLY, but also in power, and in THE HOLY GHOST . . .”-I Thess. 1:5.
“Lydia . . . whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul”-Acts 16:14.

If there is no additional work, or influence, of the Holy Spirit, then this last verse, which says the Lord “opened her heart,” is superfluous.
-
Obviously, while the WORD is the means of communicating that which is to be believed, the additional unseen work of the Holy Spirit is necessary for being “born from above.”

Paul referred to his preaching as being “in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (I Cor. 2:4). Is this not why, as so many have observed, Campbellite preaching is so dead, so staccato, and relies so heavily upon human “logic” and “legalism?”
-
The only explanation of this barren spirituality is the absence of the Holy Spirit. This likewise explains their lack of a proper understanding of the Word of God (I Cor. 2:14).

Any time any one in the Campbellite movement somehow comes to accept the Bible teaching on the Holy Spirit’s work, the person immediately comes under suspicion of heresy.

This was one of the primary issues which was discussed at the special meeting which was held in Memphis in 1973, one of the “peak” events which marked a “split” in the ranks of those associated with the support of THE HERALD OF TRUTH radio program out of the Highland Church of Christ, Abilene, Texas.

3. Campbellites deny that any one is truly saved in this life.
-
Walter Scott (1796-1861), who claimed to have “restored the ancient gospel,” taught that one is not “born of the Spirit” until the resurrection of the body (THE GOSPEL RESTORED, page 558: “No Christian is yet born of the Spirit; this event is the resurrection . . . still in the future”).
-
Mr. M. H. Tucker says that “We have eternal life in prospect . . . eternal life follows the judgment; it is received in the world to come”-SS 4/77, page 19.

Tom Warren says, “No one goes into eternal life (as a present possession) when he is baptized,” but “he only comes into hope of eternal life at the time he is baptized,” “if he lives the faithful Christian life (I John 1:7), he will receive the eternal life which the Lord has promised (I John 2:25)”-SS 4/77, pages 30, 31.

The prayer of Garland Elkins indicates that they do not believe they are really saved: “Forgive us our sins and save us in Heaven”-MEMPHIS MEETING, II, page 27.

Since they deny the work of the Holy Spirit in the new birth, and deny the indwelling of the Holy Spirit except by the Word, and teach that good works are a “part” of salvation, it is only natural that they do not believe they are actually saved in this life.
-
To them, salvation is the “reward” that comes at the end of this life.
-
If you have “obeyed” their “5-step plan,” been a member of their church, worshipped according to their “5 acts of worship” teaching, obeyed the elders who “rule the church,” and “do all that is right to best of your ability,” if your works “favorably correspond” to the truth, then you “shall be saved” (SS 4/77, pages 8, 9, and SS 1/76, page 26).

ALL cults say they are the “one true Church” (referred to as OTC hereafter).

All cults have 3 things in common.

1. The all have distorted teachings about God, specifically Jesus and the Trinity.

2. They all employ a teaching and culture of legalism. And while they may give lip service to “salvation by grace”, they apply a system of salvation by works.
-
3. They all claim to be “The ONE TRUE CHURCH”
-
This idea of the OTC among cults is expressed in many ways, some of them very ambiguously and not always clearly understood by the folks that hear the assertions. The claim to be the OTC by cults, and the many different ways that say or imply it,, is generally called Authoritarianism.

Authoritarianism being defined as “Characterized by or favoring absolute obedience to authority, as against individual freedom” (1).
-
Lets understand how Cults practice authoritarianism by looking at the teachings of their leaders or books. We will see that indeed cults are sectarian and authoritarian in belief and practice,,, claiming that “only they have the ONE TRUE way” and that only through their group, church, or fellowship can anyone be saved.

They say only they have authority and salvation is exclusive to, and dependant upon their teachings and membership in their group. They keep their members in bondage by saying that members that leave the OTC, will lose their salvation by doing so.

Walter Scott in the preface of his book, The Gospel Restored, said: “In 1827 the True Gospel was restored. For distinction’s sake it was styled the Ancient Gospel.”

In a more recent Church of Christ tract, the writer says: “She [the church] was HIDDEN for 1260 years, that she might be protected from the power of the Popes.”

Is it true that some within the CC still teach that the true church was really completely hidden for some 1260 years, so hidden in fact that Alexander Campbell had to find a Baptist preacher to baptize him?

Apparently not all CC people have this understanding of the 1260 year church gap. Some only say that the true church existed during those 1260 years, although believers had to worship in secret lest they be persecuted by the apostate Catholic church.

But if you do hold to the gap view, what is the meaning of Mat 28:20 (“And lo, I am with you all the days, even unto the end of the age.”)? And Ephesians 3:21 (“Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.”) If the church was in apostasy for centuries, why does Jesus say, “The gates of hell shall not prevail against it”?

Is it correct that sometimes the CC considers Christians who “do not walk with you,” as Ketcherside claims (www.freedomsring.org/heritage/chap22.html) to be “hobbyists, or dishonest, or insincere, or sectarians, or unworthy of notice?”

Did Jesus die for a particular party within Christendom? Do you know precisely where God would draw the line to eliminate certain people from being considered Christians?

How would you define “sect?” Would you define it differently than Cecil Hook (http://www.freedomsring.org/ftc/chap24.html)?

Hasn’t the church always been in need of reform and restoration—even from the beginning, as evidenced by Paul’ letters to his churches? If a man loses his leg, doesn’t he still have the essential nature of a man?

If the church loses some correct practices, doesn’t it still have the essential nature of a church (www.freedomsring.org/fic/chap19.html)?

The concept of the restoration of the true church is a view that the CC holds in common with Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses.

If the church only existed in “seed” (meaning the Word) as you say during this church gap period, where in the “seed” does it prophecy that Alexander Campbell and his followers would restore the church?

Or where in the “seed” does it authorize anyone to restore the church?

Is it fair to accuse other Christians groups of being started by men, when history clearly shows that the Church of Christ was started by men—Thomas and Alexander Campbell on May 4, 1811?
