- There's no place like home for the holidays. But this year, Phil and Barb Kubes and their three children will have to settle for memories of Christmas past.
- Last month, the Omaha, Neb., family was forced out of their home of 12 years after falling drastically behind on mortgage payments.
- Having failed to reach a workable solution with Litton Loan Servicing, the Houston-based company that collects their mortgage debt, the Kubes were foreclosed upon and told to vacate.
- They ended up renting a house across town.
- "It's comfortable," Barb Kubes said. "But it's not home."
- Litton is by no stretch the largest loan servicing company --
- but it is among the ones coming under the most heavy fire in the wake of a housing crisis that continues to roil the country.
- essentially the mortgage industry's version of a collection agency --
- Litton, unfairly or not, has drawn the wrath of legions of homeowners, homeowner advocacy groups, lawmakers, labor unions and class action attorneys alike.
- One glaring reason Litton has attracted so much of the scorn directed at loan servicing in general: It is owned by Goldman Sachs, proverbial poster child for Wall Street's excess and its percieved indifference to the plight of average Americans.
- "Upset," Barb Kubes said, choking back emotion, when she was asked how she felt when she found out Litton was owned by massively profitable Goldman Sachs.
- It didn't help that her hometown hero, Warren Buffett, the so-called Oracle of Omaha, invested $5 billion in Goldman shares during the height of the crisis last year.
  
  "I'm surprised Warren Buffett would have anything to do with them," she said.
- With the exception of maybe AIG, no firm has come to symbolize Main Street's disgust with Wall Street practices more than Goldman.
- In a move that caused a global backlash, Goldman has said it expects to set aside more than $20 billion for bonuses and other forms of employee compensation and benefits at the end of the year.
- Critics of Goldman's compensation practices say the firm has no business handing out billions to bankers and traders after having been the beneficiary of numerous forms of federal assistance, including TARP money (that Goldman has since paid back) as well as billions in FDIC-guaranteed loans and another $13 billion in taxpayer money given to AIG that was ultimately paid to Goldman.
- Though it will derive only a tiny fraction of the billions it expects to earn this year from revenues produced by Litton, Goldman nevertheless finds itself, albeit indirectly, connected to a highly controversial issue at the crux of the housing crisis: Widespread failure by banks to allow homeowners to modify their loans.
- A recent study by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston showed banks have little incentive to modify loans to help homeowners avoid foreclosure because of one simple reason that at this time of year perhaps only Ebenezer Scrooge could appreciate: Loan modification is not profitable for lenders.

  said last February that it was OK with them to produce a new currency
  to replace the dollar?
- None other than serial tax evader, our U.S. Treasury
  Secretary Timothy Geithner
- and the guy that held his nose when the corporations
  to big to fail began receiving government bailouts, Federal Reserve
  chief, Ben Bernanke.
- In a speech to the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce
  on February 6, 2007 Bernanke warned that rising income inequality in
  the U.S. “has been evident for at least three decades, if not
  longer.” [1]
- Gee, I wonder what caused that?
- Could it be the Federal
  Reserve printing money out of thin air causing inflation and the income
  disparity?
- And why did the Obama administration fail to invite the National
  Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) and the Chambers to the
  “Jobs Summit” table held early in December?
- National Black
  Chamber of Commerce president, Harry Alford, a guest on Glenn Beck on
  12/9 told how unions with big government jobs that pay prevailing wages
  (40% higher than non-government jobs) discriminate by ignoring minorities
  for these jobs but instead they bring in workers from 60-70 miles away.

  he didn’t say it, it is common knowledge among union members that
  they will be reimbursed for food and lodging.
- And then we learn there
  is a Federal Prison Industry that is giving 160 prisoners the “green”
  jobs in one city where 80 other people destined for those jobs were
  laid off.
- It seems governments at all levels are producing the most
  jobs and have the most job security.
- The Chamber used to appease the United Nations regional administrative
  government leaders and now the chamber seems to be unwelcome. Those
  who say Appease, Appease are
  hung by those they tried to please.
- Former Georgia Governor and Congressman
  Zell Miller in his book, A National Party No More says Washington lawmakers
  have replaced dogs as best friends in favor of Special Interest Groups
  and campaign consultants.
- Our
  Congress has become obsolete.
- He says the politicians are regularly petted
  and fed and they wag their tails and do tricks – the favorite
  one being “Beg,” but “Lie Down,” “Stay.”
  “Speak” and “Roll Over” are also favorites.
- The Special Interest Groups have to keep their pets obedient and performing
  in order to distort issues they must keep alive in perpetuity in order
  to make their jobs seem necessary.
- Our dictator’s Executive Decrees
  and his czars in charge of all these unconstitutional U.N. administrative
  governmental agencies are in positions to regulate us to death at random
  and they now seem to be running our country.
- Our
  votes are for cosmetic purposes only.
- I’m
  reminded we’ve been taught the Civil War was fought to free the
  slaves but an ulterior motive of centralized government in Washington,
  D.C. was overlooked in our history books.
- Our Founding Fathers clearly
  understood that only a citizenry educated in morality and willingly
  bound by the self-forced chains of virtue can remain free of the chains
  of tyranny.
- Radio host Rush Limbaugh would ask, “How is Obama’s
  Hoax and Chains working for us?”
- Current centralized government
  with no checks and balances is returning us to slavery.
- And for all
  those “birther”debunkers, on June 27, 2004, the East African
  Standard Newspaper featured a headline that said: KENYAN-BORN OBAMA
  ALL SET FOR U.S. SENATE. Obama, at the time, would have said, “Only
  the president has to be a natural born citizen.”
- The
  February 26, 1968 Dan Smoot Report says prior to the inauguration of
  Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933, the American dollar was fully
  redeemable.
- Anyone could take paper money to a bank and exchange it
  for gold (in coins or bars) at the official rate of $20.67 an ounce.
  (Current value of gold is approximately $1200 an ounce).
- Shortly after
  taking office, Roosevelt, by Executive Decree, forbade the use of gold
  as currency, forcing Americans to sell their gold to the government,
  for paper money what could no longer be redeemed.
- On January 30, 1934,
  Congress passed Roosevelt’s Gold Reserve Act, officially abolishing
  our standard gold dollar, prohibiting further gold coinage, and forbidding
  Americans to use gold as currency and making it impossible for them
  to redeem paper dollars in gold.
- Christopher
  Weber in his 1988 book “…Good as Gold”? How We Lost
  Our Gold Reserves and Destroyed the Dollar, said in 1950, U.S. depositories
  held more gold than had ever been assembled in one place.
- Throughout
  the 1950s and ‘60s, the U.S. government exchanged one ounce of
  gold for $35 – despite the fact that more dollars were being printed
  than our gold reserves warranted.
- Then
  in 1971 Republican Richard Nixon closed the gold window by breaking
  the U.S. treaty commitment to redeem the dollar for gold internationally
  and in so doing he removed all constraints on the Federal Reserve’s
  ability to inflate and the government’s ability to pile up endless
  debts.
- On August 15, 1971, the U.S. defaulted on its promise to pay
  gold for dollars. It finally admitted that all the U.S. dollars in existence
  could not be exchanged for gold at $35 an ounce. There were just too
  many dollars and too little gold.
- This realization came too late, for
  by then 400 million ounces of gold – two-thirds of the nation’s
  reserves- were gone and seriously damaged our economy.
- At the same time
  Nixon also imposed price and wage controls and we’ve seen prices
  go up more than 350% since that day.
- (I still have in my possession
  silver certificates from the 60s that were once redeemable in silver
  that is now at approximately $18 an ounce)
- And Nixon, an enthusiastic
  supporter of the New World Order” signed Executive Order 11647
  on 2/10/1972 entered into the Federal Register on 2/12 that divided
  the U.S. into 10 regions, a step towards that New World Order (One world
  government).
- He staffed each of these ten Federal Regional Headquarters
  with the grant-making agencies of the Federal Government with the authority
  of allocating so-called Revenue Sharing “free” government
  money to local units of the government who would jump threw hoops for
  these freebies;
- however, how could the federal government give these
  “Grants” when the Feds have been bankrupt for a long, long
  time?
- Dam
  Smoot writes the day following January 30, 1934, Roosevelt devalued
  the paper dollar (the only time this has been done in American history)
  by declaring the price of gold to be $35 an ounce.
- This gave the government
  a windfall “profit” of $2.8 billion, and cheapened the people’s
  money by 41%.
- Roosevelt had forced the people to sell at $20.67 an ounce.
  He then raised an ounce of gold to $35 by the simple act of saying the
  Treasury would pay that much for gold.
- Though it prevented Americans
  from redeeming paper dollars in gold, the Gold Reserve Act of 1934 provided
  foreign governments and central banking system could sell their paper
  money to the U.S. Treasury for gold.
- Most
  of the monetary gold reserve was stored at Ft. Knox and it was at that
  point we began to see our gold reserves depleted.
- And speaking about
  “windfall profits,” the certifiable nincompoop who currently
  holds the position two steps away from the White House, Democrat House
  Speaker Nancy Pelosi in April 2009 was proposing a windfall tax on retirement
  income.
- In
  the book “The Secret World of Money” by Andrew Gause, he
  was asked, “What would happen if the U.S. went into default on
  the interest payments on our national debt now totaling about $11 trillion
  but which doesn’t take into consideration all the promised future
  entitlements which now could easily be over $100 trillion.
- Perhaps at
  this time we should compare this disaster with what so many people who
  spent themselves into debt and have long been just one paycheck away
  from bankruptcy are now facing.
- Their homes are what the industry calls
  “under water” meaning the equity in their homes has been
  borrowed to the hilt and then the housing market began to deteriorate
  and they now find themselves with a mortgage payment they can’t
  meet due to loss of a job and they owe more than their home is worth.
- As a nation, are we in a similar predicament as these homeowners?
- Are
  their days numbered before they must face the shame of the bankruptcy
  court and attorney’s fees because they tried to keep up with the
  Joneses who may also have been “under water” and drowning
  in debt?
- The bank will foreclose
  on the homes of these common folks who faithfully paid their taxes and
  the bank will try to salvage as much as they can from the home if they
  can sell it.
- American
  is Insolvent.
- In March 2001 the TV news reported
  5% of the House of Representatives, 4% of the U.S. Senate, 4.8% in the
  Republican President George W. Bush’s cabinet, 1.7% of I.R.S.
  employees were delinquent and tax
  evaders.
- But
  then there is the privileged class.
- While there are a “few good men and/or women”
  who serve us in Washington, D.C., face it you common folks, the elitists
  in Washington, D.C. do not give a darn about you.
- These greedy, totally
  incompetent lickspittles are the problem – not the solution.
- On
  October 12, 2009, Bloomberg News Service reported the U.S. dollar had
  reached the breaking point because central banks were snubbing the dollar
  and replacing it with euros and yen.
- So what if the U.S. goes bankrupt?
  Will that mean the end to our sovereignty? Will that mean our personal
  real estate being held as collateral will soon be owned by China?
- Did
  the Red Chinese flag that was raised over Washington, D.C. in September
  2009 to commemorate the anniversary of the communist takeover of China
  by Chairman Mao sixty years ago send a message that “we win, you
  lose?”
- Did
  your paper like mine recently report in section Z a couple paragraphs
  about how North Korea revalued its currency known as “won,”
  at an exchange rate between old and new notes of 100 to 1? Does this
  mean if the North Koreans had $100 “won,” they would now
  have “one won?” The currency reform understandably sparked
  panic among its citizens.
- Is
  that coming to America? Are we heading for a universal currency or a
  cashless society?
- Some became concerned about the 666 System from Revelation
  when scanners were installed in stores but soon we went back to sleep
  and it became common place from President Jimmy Carter’s new Secret
  Security Force patches that had “666” on them to the U.S.
  Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service Alcohol Tobacco and firearms
  badges using “666.”
- Some with medical problems had computer
  chips placed in their bodies for easy scanning by medical personnel.
  Others put chips in their dogs in case they got lost. Young people began
  to jump on the tattoo fad.
- These
  may be the best of times and the worst of times depending upon a person’s
  relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Other United Nations Regional
  administrative government agencies make the rules and they can do anything
  they wish.
- Our Constitution is no longer applicable. It’s “outmoded!”
  It won’t protect us. If we think the violence is bad now, we “ain’t”
  seen nothing yet should the Lord tarry.

- The
  title is a powerful statement by Pat Caddell, a Democrat, and a Senior
  Advisor to the Carter Administration, that he made on Fox News, 12-8-09.
- Caddell also stated that “Americans feel that the future is slipping
  away from their children, that they’re losing the future.
- The
  politicians don’t care (what the people want), they think the
  American people are sheep that they can run over, and that’s the
  issue that is going to be tested. They have nothing but contempt for
  the very people they are supposed to represent in the greatest nation
  on earth”.
- Mr. Caddell further stated (not his exact words) that
  never in his long lifetime had he ever seen such a large majority of
  Americans from both parties united in anger and opposition to elected
  officials. My observation is the same.
- Mr.
  Caddell is a brave man and a true patriot because he knows that the
  Marxist usurpers in our government will not tolerate peaceful dissent
  of any kind.
- Retaliation by their Union and Community Organizer thugs
  has been brutal, accompanied by media lies to discredit anyone who questions
  the Marxist traitors.
- Both
  political parties are run by Marxist traitors who take their orders
  from the same large corporations, and tax free foundations controlled
  by the super rich in return for money and favorable media coverage.
- Every unconstitutional law such as Health Care, Cap and trade, Stimulus,
  Tarp and corporate takeovers is to enrich the super rich and to reduce
  us to impoverished slaves.
- They operate our government as
  a giant criminal enterprise to prey on the people of the United States
  and the world.
- Political
  Correctness is the Marxist Judas Goat.
- Officials
  who pass and enforce unconstitutional laws, while ignoring constitutional
  laws and their oath to the constitution, are the most contemptible of

- I hate these traitors as much as I do child molesters,

- But, as an Oath Keeper and a Three Percenter,
  I will refuse any unlawful government orders to harm the people and
  I will not initiate or encourage violence against the traitors in government

  is imperative that you convince your Senators to defeat Heath Care,
  Cap and Trade, other Expenditures, and Tax Increases.

  showing them any respect, show them your contempt, but politely and
  forcefully, no threats, except to vote them out of office and prosecute
  them for treason.

- The
  fruits of tyranny
- There
  appears to be a long overdue - now futile - movement that reflects a growing
  and increasingly hostile reaction by the people to progressive despotic
  governance and the stifling and tyrannical suppression of individual liberties.
- The basic human desire is for individual freedom and the God-given right
  to choose one’s own destiny and to follow an unimpeded course in
  regard to lawful wants and goals.
- The Creator endowed mankind with free
  will and the inalienable right to a determination of one's own fate or
  course of action without compulsion by dictatorial forces.
- When that right
  is impeded by tyrannical rule, or by forced misguided and equally devastating
  political correctness, it stirs within free hearts a sense of rebellion.
- If this state of being persists and there is a failure to react affirmatively
  to the rumblings of discontent the next step is civil disobedience.
- If
  that fails to reign in the encroachment upon personal sovereignty resentment
  festers to the point of open and hostile rebellion,
- and that dear reader
  is the direction that we are traveling at the present time in this rapidly
  deteriorating nation.
- A righteous
  rebellion by justified dissidents will inevitably draw into the fray the
  millions of maladapted criminal elements in this nation that live to maim,
  murder and destroy.
- This then will hand the tyrants who rule a reason
  to declare martial law and will give them an excuse to turn the guns of
  their enforcers loose upon society to brutally suppress a rebellion of
  their own making.
- This is the way it has been with every oppressive totalitarian
  regime in the historical past, and this is the onrushing fate and fortune
  of this nation.
- Many
  write to ask me the type of reaction I anticipate by the law enforcement
  community and by the military to the rebellion that is on the horizon.
- It is my opinion that with few exceptions these will follow orders, and
  if ordered to do so most will fire upon and kill their fellow citizens.
- To fathom this it is necessary to understand that those who comprise the
  ranks of these organizations are of the new generation, they are new age
  partisans that have been acclimated and indoctrinated, under our noses,
  in the socialistic doctrines of a one-world order.
- They will do as ordered
  in service to their masters.
- One
  should not expect the military, the law enforcement community or the majority
  of the people to have any discernment in regard to the works wrought by
  iniquity and the consequences thereof:
- “And
  for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe
  a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had
  pleasure in unrighteousness.” II Thessalonians 11-12
- THROW
  THE BUMS OUT
- Many
  writers view the deterioration that is upon this nation in an entirely
  secular light.
- They reckon that if the voters would turn out of office
  the venal bunch that exists and replace them with new personalities everything
  would be hunky-dory.
- They fail to recognize that the new personages will
  be drawn from the same rotten barrel and will be possessed of the same
  base character as those that they have replaced. Nothing will change.
- I have
  differed with many of these writers of opinion and their temporal view
  of the on-rushing and cataclysmic destruction that we are about to experience.
- I have always maintained that it is a spiritual problem and the inevitable
  result of an egregious apostasy, deep and abiding iniquity and a conscious
  and deliberate denial of the sovereign God who rules the universe and
  the world.
- I also
  note that many of the patriot writers who pen their pieces from a hopeless
  secular perspective fail to recognize that the Constitution is dead and
  has been dead for a good long while.
- The civil war and the egregious totalitarian
  excesses of the Lincoln administration pounded a stake through its heart.
- Since then, when it suits the purpose of whatever administration is in
  power, the corpse is resurrected for a time, dusted off, misinterpreted
  and misrepresented, and employed to prevail upon the sovereignty of the
  people and to bolster and affirm despotic control.
- We ought to play taps
  over the Constitution.
- When the people allowed it to be manipulated by
  the government as a so-called living breathing changeable instrument it
  in fact became a dead and pathetically useless document of words without
  force.
- It is
  not my intention to question the purport or the sincerity of those who
  diligently inveigh for a return to constitutional principles, and I question
  not that these principles should rigidly control the actions of the government
  and guarantee the liberties of the people.
- The Constitution was a document
  perfect in precept, and correct in every detail. It should never have
  been altered or meddled with.
- The government should have been forced by
  a righteous people to submit absolutely to the Constitution rather than
  to allow the Constitution to be altered to conform to the whims of those
  who advocate for an autocracy of government over a sovereignty of the
  people.
- No person or instrument, other than the Holy Word of God, should
  prevail over the Constitution as it was written and amended by the founding
  fathers, but it is too late as that cat is out of the bag.
- The
  secular line of reasoning for a restoration of the nation by secular means
  is already foreclosed, and otherwise resolved, any attempt to continue
  with that line of reasoning is futile. In plain words those who advocate
  for such are beating a dead horse.
- KILLED
  BY DIVERSITY
- We have
  been infiltrated by hostile nations of a domestic nature that refuse to
  be fused into the population as a whole. They are, and will always be,
  of a self-bestowed autonomy and possessed of antagonistic nation within
  nation properties. As such they are absolutely inimical to social cohesion
  and an effective national focus.
- The
  black population over the last one hundred forty years has never collectively
  assimilated as a cohesive unit of American society,
- the Hispanic collective
  indwells by virtue of a desire for material gain and not by a desire to
  assimilate into American culture,
- and the Muslims seem to disparage all
  of mankind with the exception of other Muslims and have no desire to submit
  to the national authority of the American people.
- Understand
  that I do not demean a race, a culture or a religion. I have known the
  friendship of individuals of all of the groups that I have addressed,
  and valued these individuals always as equals in every respect.
- It is
  the obstinate collective refusal to coalesce into a unified society with
  a shared national purpose that I address.
- Just as the Vandals and the
  Visigoths helped to destroy Rome these dissident groups will contribute
  greatly to the final destruction of the United States.
- The
  deep ignorance and unlearned disposition of our political and social leaders,
  and the blind acquiescence of a deluded people have enabled the importation
  of competing cultures via the political correctness route.
- Diversity is
  the absolute enemy of a homogenous society and of systemic stability.
- This nation is facing a complete collapse; the very circumstances that
  brought down the Roman Empire will bring about the downfall of this nation.
- Uncontrolled immigration, corrupt leaders and a hedonistic and perverse
  people are contributing to the coming demise of the United States.
- Our
  goose is cooked, we have so displeased the sovereign God that he has brought
  about the elements of our destruction, and soon - very soon - His wrath
  will rain down upon us.
- Historically God has raised and destroyed seventy-four
  civilizations; the reason for the removal of these from existence was,
  in every case, deep systemic sin. This nation most certainly fits that
  measure.
- IT’S
  ABOUT SOWING AND REAPING
- “He
  that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him
  be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still:
  and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

- Listen
  up folks; nothing is going to save this nation.
- Historians recount a number
  of reasons for the final collapse of the Roman Empire; these were circumstantial
  elements or components of a single and exigent basic reason.
- The physical
  nature of the collapse is not complicated.
- Economic disintegration, the
  dissipated condition of the military and a series of failed military campaigns
  against lesser foes, egregiously corrupt governance, and a fragmented
  and dissident population were the obvious symptoms of an abiding systemic
  disease.

  destruction of the empire was great national sin and a rottenness of spirit.

  THE CIA's CONNECTION TO THE FINDERS
- Officially, the Justice Department admits that the Finders case (see
  above) is still "an open investigation."
- The CIA, however, won't go that
  far; the CIA claims it's all lies dreamed up by the "enemies" of the agency
  -
- a smear that, according to Mark Mansfield, a spokesman for the CIA, "pops
  up every couple of years."
- The evidence, however, against such a bold-faced
  denial is overwhelming - and so much so that the CIA has been forced to come
  up with other stories relating to their connection with the Finders.
- One such story surfaced as the result of an NBC-TV broadcast segment
  entitled, "The Children and the CIA."
- Here, the CIA - confronted
  with more evidence concerning their association with the Finders - asserted
  that what all the fuss was about related to a group of children the CIA had
  brought together for observation at a number of summer camps for possible
  later recruitment and to watch their behavior.
- This story, however, was so asinine that even NBC, usually a reliable friend
  of the agency, refused to "buy into" it.
- The CIA then backed
  off this particular "cover story" and said that it had not been
  the agency that had been financing the summer camps, but a group
  called the "Society for the Investigation of Human Ecology."
- The problem with that story, however, was that the "Society
  for the Investigation of Human Ecology" was a relatively well-known
  front for the agency's MK-Ultra experiments.

- New stories concerning the Finders then began to appear insisting
  that they were nothing more than -
  
  "... middle-aged men who wear dark suits."
- Nothing strange about that! - except that
  if that were the case, why then was it that when people came in contact with
  them, they seemed to be -
  
  "... constantly walking the streets, following ... [children] home and taking
  extensive notes and pictures."
- Then there was another incident involving the Justice Department;
  one in which the Justice Department found the Finders posing as a computer
  training company in the "employ" of the CIA;
- Mark Riebling describes the incident
  in his book Wedge: The Secret War Between the FBI and the CIA.
- Riebling
  says,
  
  "Just before Christmas 1993, both agencies [i.e., the FBI and the CIA]
  were embarrassed by a Justice Department investigation into whether the CIA
  had improperly used the FBI to cover up its connections to a computer training
  cult called Finders, which had been [publicly] accused of being involved in
  child abuse."
- The CIA admitted its connection to the computer training company,
  but said that, at least initially, that's what it was: a computer training
  company - a computer training company that the CIA said "went bad."
- Went bad?"
  - a company that had been vetted by the CIA? What
  a "crock," to put it in the vernacular.
- These are just a few examples that point to a very frightful relationship
  between the Finders and the CIA - examples that are too numerous to be "put
  off" as "happen-chance" and coincidental; examples fraught with "double-speak"
  and out-right lies.
- A NEW PARADIGM
- The question to be asked in all of this is, What
  is the CIA doing in the "child stealing" business?
- And more than that, What
  does all this FANTASTIC evil portend?
- And, finally, Is
  it real? - and if it is, IT CANNOT HELP BUT ESTABLISH
  A NEW AND APPALLING PARADIGM FOR ALL OF US.
- A new paradigm?
  Yes, and what we have been discussing here evidences the fact that for all
  practical purposes, we have arrived at this new paradigm:
- So now we come at
  last to Matthew 24:12:
  
  "And because iniquity [meaning, once again, EXTREME sexual deviancy
  (which is the original and "real" meaning behind the word, "iniquity")] shall
  abound [in the 'end of days'], the love of many shall wax cold." (Matthew
  24:12)
- The Bible speaks of a great increase in the manifestation of EXTREME
  sexual deviancy in the "end of days" - an increase that far surpasses that
  which over the millennia has been considered "normal."
- Moreover, the manifestations
  of this deviancy - the sadomasochism, child abductions, and pedophilia - are
  but the tip of an iceberg that shows above the water, while submerged down
  below is the great mass of that which is true and real, i.e., of the sexual
  deviancy that has taken hold on American society.
- [And you are reminded
  here that, biblically speaking, EXTREME sexual deviancy and demon possession
  go hand-in-hand.]
- We can begin to get an idea of just how far the manifestation of
  extreme sexual behavior (as referenced in Matthew 24:12) has advanced in American
  society by focusing in on the pervasive nature of pornography today, and the
  addictive nature of it all.
- Gudrun Schultz, a well-known authority on this
  matter, writes:
  
  "A significant rise in pornographic DVD sales and rentals within the United
  States points to a rapidly growing addiction to pornography that is going
  largely unacknowledged within society. Retailers of pornography have suggested
  that the increase in pornography is due to growing social acceptance of adult
  sexual entertainment. THAT 'SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE' IS IN FACT A RAPIDLY GROWING
  ADDICTION TO PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL WITHIN MAINSTREAM SOCIETY, according
  to researchers and therapists who work in the field of sexual dysfunction.
- "Dr. Judith Reisman has shown compelling evidence that pornography is a powerful
  addictive force. In an article titled 'Exposing Pornography's Addictive, Destructive
  Effects', she states: 'For decades I have lectured on visual pornography as
  an endogenous drug THAT PERMANENTLY RESTRUCTURES THE BRAIN, mind, memory
  and conduct of unthinking users ... Pornography overrides cognition and causes
  dramatic changes in viewers' behavior. This can be simple coarsening, impairing
  the capacity to love, or it can lead to brutal sexual crimes'. "
- One should pause here, and ask himself the question, What
  does that mean insofar as the manifestation of pedophilia in the ranks of
  the elites of the Republican Party?
- - that we are
  being led by people who have had their brains permanently restructured?
- What
  does that mean insofar as America's intelligence agencies are concerned? -
  that these agencies are being run by sexual deviants?
- Schultz continues:
  
  "Dr. Mary Ann Layden is co-director of the Sexual Trauma and Psychopathology
  Program at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Cognitive Therapy.
- Speaking before the 2004 Senate Commerce Committee, she said, 'PORNOGRAPHY
  ADDICTS HAVE A MORE DIFFICULT TIME RECOVERING FROM THEIR ADDICTION THAN COCAINE
  ADDICTS, since coke users can get the drug out of their system, but pornographic
  images stay in the brain forever ...
- and fosters socially deviant behavior'.
- From de-valuing of women and children, to disruption of the ability to be
  in intimate relationship, to the acting out of violent fantasy against actual
  victims that leads to sexually motivated crimes, research clearly shows the
  devastating social results of pornography addiction.
- "Furthermore, research shows that as an addiction, PORNOGRAPHY BUILDS
  UPON ITSELF, DRIVING THE ADDICT TO SEEK MORE EXTREME EXPERIENCES ...
- Layden
  says, 'They have escalating compulsive sexual behavior becoming more out of
  control, and they also experience withdrawal symptoms if they stop the use
  of the sexual material. This material is potent, addictive and permanently
  implanted in the brain'.
- Despite industry defenders' claims that adult entertainment
  is a healthy form of sexuality, the porn industry has seen an enormous increase
  in recent years in extreme porn involving violence, the abuse of animals,
  a focus on fecal and urinary functions, and self-mutilation'."
- It's here that we must come to grips with the words of Dr. Layden:
  
  "PORNOGRAPHY BUILDS UPON ITSELF, DRIVING THE ADDICT TO SEEK MORE EXTREME
  EXPERIENCES ... [Addicts] have escalating compulsive sexual behavior becoming
  more out of control ..."
- In other words, pornography addicts are driven over time to
  ever more bizarre acts of deviant sexual behavior until at last it manifests
  itself in the worst possible kind - CHILD ABUSE and PEDOPHILIA.
- And the word DRIVEN is apropos here because, biblically speaking,
  we are talking about possession - DEMON POSSESSION.
- DEMON POSSESSION
- And make no mistake about it! - demon possession is a very real phenomenon; it's as real today
  as it was in the time of Christ
- (Matthew 4:24, 8:16, 8:28, 10:8, Mark 3:15,
  Mark 16:9, Luke 4:41, etc., etc.),
- and - if Mathew 24:12 is to be believed
  - IT IS MUCH MORE PREVALENT TODAY THAN IT EVER WAS THEN!
- Biblically speaking, demons are the disembodied spirits of
  those who trod the earth in the flesh before the ruin described in the second
  verse of Genesis, and who, at the time of that great destruction, were DISEMBODIED
  by God.
- As a result, these demons suffer a wearisome lack of ease, a wandering
  unrest, arising from a sense of incompleteness because of their disembodied
  state. They long to be clothed with flesh again, and so great is their craving
  that if they can satisfy it in no other way, they will even enter into the
  filthy bodies of swine (Matt. 8:31).
- Indeed, it is they who - in their uncontrollable and insatiable
  desire to be clothed with flesh again - are responsible for
  the "possessions" described by the Scriptures.
- They long to
  "feel" again, if only pain, and this is the reason that many
  possessed persons inflict pain on themselves, for it is not
  they, but the demons that have entered them, who are responsible.

- It's from this perspective that we can say with some confidence that
  - in almost all cases - sexual deviancy is the result of demon possession,
  and this is especially true when sexual deviancy results in sadomasochism
  and/or child abuse.
- And so, once again, we are confronted with the
  ominous, menacing words of the prophet:
  
  "BABYLON [i.e., AMERICA] ... IS BECOME THE HABITATION OF DEVILS [DEMONS],
  AND THE HOLD [PRISON] OF EVERY FOUL SPIRIT, AND A CAGE OF EVERY UNCLEAN AND
  HATEFUL BIRD [SPIRIT]." (Revelation 18:2)
- And why is that? Why is it that Babylon has become the "... habitation
  of demons and the prison of every foul spirit?"
- Because Babylon is the fountainhead
  not only insofar as the manufacture of pornographic material in the world
  today is concerned, but in its consumption as well - all of which leads inevitably
  to, in Layden's words, a "FUNDAMENTALLY disordered society populated
  by sexual deviants whose brains have been PERMANENTLY RESTRUCTURED,"
  and who are driven to seek "... ever more extreme sexual experiences." And isn't
  this plainly what is happening in the United States today?
- AMERICA'S RICH ARE INVOLVED UP TO
  
  THEIR EYEBALLS IN THIS INIQUITY
- Moreover - and contrary to what most Americans have been led to believe
  - it's not so much the poor in the United States who have become captivated
  by pornography, but the rich and the well-to-do.
- Sexual deviancy is not a
  "poor man's sport," but a "sport" (if I can use that term) that only the rich
  and well-to-do can participate in; and it's not so much in the sleazy peep
  shows and arcades featured in the 1979 George C. Scott film Hardcore
  or the 1999 Nicolas Cage film 8MM, but in the residences of the super-rich
  on Park Avenue, in the Hamptons, and in Vail -
- AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHY
  THE PEDOPHILIA WE HAVE BEEN DESCRIBING IS SO READILY FOUND IN THE REPUBLICAN
  PARTY (i.e., THE PARTY OF THE RICH), RATHER THAN IN THE DEMOCRATIC
  PARTY.
- And not only are the rich the leading consumers of pornography on
  a per capita basis in the United States, but they are - naturally enough
  - pornography's leading manufacturers and distributors.
- Dr. Holman Jenkins
  of Stanford University writes:
  
  "Though they don't advertise the connection, respectable companies like AT&T,
  Time-Warner, and the Hilton hotel chain have quietly become major players
  in porn distribution.
- A few years ago the cable TV folks wouldn't go near
  the stuff unless (as in New York City) the porn entrepreneurs managed to get
  on a mandated 'public access' channel. The cable industry's resistance has
  now completely crumbled.
- Consider the success of Hot Network, provided by
  Steve Hirsch's Vivid Entertainment Group, the industry-leading producer of
  high-quality sex videos.
- Since its launch in 1999, Hot Network has taken the
  cable world by storm. As one cable executive anonymously told the Journal's
  Sally Beatty, 'The No. 1 complaint we get is that it's not explicit enough'.
- "America Online, in a sense, is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Internet
  porn wave, even though it doesn't consider itself 'in' the porn business.
- Yet in private moments, people at the company will acknowledge that a very
  large part of their subscriber traffic is people who use AOL to gain access
  to the 'pornucopia' available on the Internet beyond AOL's own content sites."
- Jenkins continues:
  
  "Wall Street once wouldn't have touched the [porno] business with a 10-foot
  pole. Now it may not brag about the association, but reputable brokerages
  have been glad to help porn-related companies win public listings on U.S.
  stock exchanges.
- Venture firms have been major backers of companies that provide
  billing and tracking services for on-line smut merchants. For that matter,
  Visa and Mastercard play a large role in the industry by processing its payments."
- for example, among the companies listed by the Timothy Plan of
  Family and Mutual Funds, the list includes such well-known companies as Aetna,
  Anheuser-Busch, Bristol-Meyers, Clear Channel, Coca Cola, General Electric,
  Johnson and Johnson, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Coors, PepsiCo, Prudential,
  Time-Warner, Viacom, ad nauseum, ad infinitum.
- And the list of companies involved in the "pornographic trade" goes
  on and on;
- Finally, as we just indicated, it is the rich who - unlike the poor
  - are able to translate the voyeurism in pornography into actual experiences,
  experiences that cost a lot of money; the kind of experiences that only the
  rich can afford;
- the kind of experiences that Craig Spence could make "come
  alive" in his lavish "power cocktail" parties and in his mansion filled with
  two way mirrors, hidden microphones and cameras;
- the kind of child abuse that
  people like George Bush I availed himself of -
- and not only Bush, but the
  "whip-and-leather" experience that Vice President Nelson Rockefeller availed
  himself of in his mansion in New York with Megan Marshak on the eve of his
  death at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 1979.
- NOTE: The first press reports
  of Rockefeller's death paid moving tribute to the hardworking
  GOP elder who had died at his desk while working on a book
  about modern art.
- Solemnly, Rockefeller family spokesman
  Hugh Morrow told reporters Rockefeller had suffered a heart
  attack at 10:15 Friday night in his office at 30 Rockefeller
  Plaza, and that a security aide, the only other person present,
  had tried to revive him and failed.
- The stricken man had
  been admitted to Lenox Hill Hospital at 11:15 p.m., he said,
  and widow Happy Rockefeller had arrived at 12:25 a.m., 10
  minutes too late.
- The following day, Morrow admitted he'd gotten one or two details wrong.
  Actually, Rockefeller had died at his 54th Street townhouse, he said.
- A
  chauffeur also had been there at the time. By now there were reports of
  a blonde - Megan Marshack - at Rockefeller's side when he died, and the
  press wanted to know about her.
- Well, yes, Morrow acknowledged, he had just
  learned that Nelson Rockefeller's young assistant also had been present
  when his heart gave out.
- But, as it turned out, it wasn't Marshack who had called 911 at all. That
  call had been made by TV personality Ponchitta Pierce, who lived in Marshack's
  building and who had departed the scene before cops arrived.
- Marshack was
  gone now too, visiting friends in the country.
- Morrow said he didn't know
  where. That story too collapsed when it was learned that the Associated
  Press had reached Marshack by phone four hours after Rockefeller's heart
  stopped beating, and that she'd told the AP that Morrow was with her.
- Morrow clammed up altogether at this point.
- By now the questions were too
  large to contain. Why hadn't there been an autopsy? Why had Rockefeller
  been so quickly cremated? And who exactly was this Miss Marshack, anyway?
- Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau made an "informal"
  inquiry into the events surrounding Rockefeller's death then declined to
  reveal what he'd turned up.
- "I don't want to get into questions like
  that," he said.
- Later in 1979, Mayor Edward Koch fired chief medical
  examiner Michael Baden after the M.E.'s office dropped hints that Nelson
  Rockefeller had died while having sex - and that the sex he was having at
  the time of his death was of a very kinky, "whip-and-leather" variety.
- This kind of sexual deviancy has always been "common" in the precincts
  of the rich - from the palaces of the Caesars, to Versailles in France, to
  the "great homes" of the aristocracy in England's countryside.
- But it's in
  the United States that this phenomenon has reached a crescendo never heard
  of before in the history of mankind, and that is especially true of "child
  abuse" and pedophilia.
- And one must bear in mind that - according to Dr. Judith Reisman
  - this kind of sexual deviancy "PERMANENTLY RESTRUCTURES THE BRAIN,
  mind, memory and conduct of those who fall victim to it," and "overrides cognition
  and causes dramatic changes in one's behavior that can lead to ... brutal sexual
  crimes;" the kind of crime that Dr. Layden says "... builds upon itself, driving
  the ... [victim] to seek more extreme [sexual] experiences" - experiences
  that ultimately lead to pedophilia.
- WHOSOEVER SHALL OFFEND
  
  ONE OF THESE CHILDREN ...
- It is here that those Christians who have allied themselves with
  the elites of the Republican Party would be well advised to take heed to Christ's
  warning in Matthew 18:6:
- "Whosoever shall offend one of these children ... it is better for him
  that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the
  depth of the sea." (Matthew 18:6)
- [And once again, we refer you to that
  list of some 59 names we listed above - names that represent only the tip
  of the iceberg insofar as what is really going on in the precincts of the
  rich.]
- The reference here to a millstone (see above) is very significant:
  it is with a millstone that Babylon the Great, the "Seat of Satan," will be
  judged:
  
  "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into
  the sea, saying, THUS WITH VIOLENCE SHALL THAT GREAT CITY BABYLON BE THROWN
  DOWN, AND SHALL BE FOUND NO MORE AT ALL." (Revelation 18:21)
- Brothers and sisters, I solemnly warn you: We are in a new paradigm
  in this country - and the only answer to this problem is to GET OUT
  before we are subsumed and swallowed up by it.

- For 14 years, CAIR got away with the lying to us about who they are, justifying Islamic terrorist attacks, legitimizing suicide bombings, presenting speakers who had been Holocaust deniers, making incendiary presentations about the United States and urging Muslims not to talk to the FBI.
- CAIR claims that that there is no such thing as radical Islam, but rather a secret cabal to attack all of Islam,
- while secretly receiving millions of dollars from Saudi financiers and attacking terrorist prosecutions as somehow an "attack on Islam."
- CAIR now has dozens of chapters which host annual banquets featuring not only radical speakers, but outside guests including chiefs of police, congressmen, FBI and DHS officials –
- even getting Tampa and Houston to declare "CAIR Day” in their respective cities.
- (In fairness, Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio announced this year that she would no longer do so after studying CAIR's record.)
- On the other side, the FBI – despite 14 years of a cozy relationship with CAIR – finally decided to sever relations with CAIR in late 2008 for its ties to Hamas.
- In the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, an FBI agent testified that CAIR was a front for Hamas.
- In other words, CAIR was a front for a terrorist group.
- And it was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator as well in the case.
- Bravo to the FBI for making the right and politically courageous decision.
- Last week, a new book, Muslim Mafia, disclosed or elaborated on many of these developments within CAIR.
- Four Congressmen, led by Sue Myrick, (R-NC), held a press conference to protest the fact that CAIR, a Hamas front group, had a plan to insert interns into key congressional committees. The book made plenty of other disclosures that were highlighted by the Congressman.
- And what happened? Those other points were discarded by the media, which picked up CAIR's dissembling spin that the Congressmen advocated a witch hunt against all Muslim staffers on Capitol Hill. They said no such thing.
- The news website Politico whitewashed CAIR.
- Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal Constitution called CAIR a "mainstream" group unfairly targeted by right wing wackos.
- Congressmen John Conyers and Loretta Sanchez, who had done CAIR's bidding for years, were among those who leapt to CAIR's defense.
- They all bought into CAIR's manifestly ludicrous claim that attacking CAIR was somehow tantamount to attacking all of Islam.
- That has been CAIR's modus operandi since its inception.
- CAIR often throws out unsubstantiated charges of bigotry to deflect attention away from its detailed and documented record of conning the American people.
- My organization challenged those specious claims in a thorough report that can be seen here.
- Much of the damning information about CAIR came out well before the book, primarily through evidence in the HLF trial.
- And yet earlier this year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered that CAIR officials be included in conference calls about the Middle East; the State Department even dispatched key CAIR officials – some of whom have made blatantly racist statements claiming that the reports of the Darfur genocide was actually part of a "Zionist" conspiracy – on official U.S. diplomatic missions.
- The Department of Homeland Security, despite being briefed that CAIR was a front group for a terrorist organization, had official meetings with CAIR. And it appointed recently as a senior advisor to DHS a member of an organization that believes that Hezbollah is a good group that should not be classified as terrorist.
  - Well, DHS is too fricking busy going after U.S. Military veterans, Christians, gunowners and loyal, patriotic Americans to worry about their allies in CAIR. - on 2009-11-06

- And in the last few years, National Public Radio (NPR), the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and the Detroit News – to pick at random from the media – have become a cheerleading squad for CAIR, interviewing CAIR officials as if they were no different that Rotary Club officials while suppressing any negative information about CAIR.
- For the mainstream media, it seems, the government is more of an evil force than Hamas.
- The New York Times' public editor even made the startling admission last year that it did not call Hamas a terrorist group, "though it sponsors acts of terror against Israel."
- The reason? The paper's Jerusalem bureau chief finds "the word terrorist is politically loaded and overused" and there are Hamas members not directly involved in killing people.
- And not all Klansmen engaged in lynching. But no one would hesitate to call out the KKK for the racism and terror at the root of its ideology and tactics.
- Where is CAIR on stoning on women? Senior CAIR officials adamantly refuse to condemn the barbaric practice of stoning Muslim women.
- Contrast that with the free pass given to CAIR.
- Where is CAIR on Israel and Jews? Some senior CAIR officials routinely refer to Jews as "Zionazis" and top CAIR guests at their dinners – most recently former Congressman Paul Findley – blamed Israel for the horrific attacks on 9/11. Right after 9/11, top CAIR officials denied that Saudis were behind those horrific attacks.
- There is a much larger pattern here that just the apologia or selective amnesia for CAIR.
- The free pass given to radical Islam has become a pandemic.
- The Goldstone Report, which purported to document "Israeli war crimes" in the war with Hamas in January, was one of the most dangerously one-sided, dishonest reports ever produced by the United Nations.
- Naturally the New York Times played it as a lead item on the front page without any skepticism by their reporter, who is known to take CAIR hand outs.
- The Goldstone report effectively took all of the propaganda put out by Hamas – much of it demonstrably false – and presented it as a fact.
- If applied to the United States, the report would have branded every soldier and every officer in the Iraq and Afghanistan war a "war criminal."
- The fact that the Goldstone report has gotten this far is attributable to one thing only: the existence of a powerful Islamic lobby at the United Nations.
- In yet another example of the inverted focus when it comes to radical Islam, Random House, Yale University Press, and now a German publisher, won't publish books that are "critical" of, or potentially offensive to, Muslim extremists.
- Even the much celebrated journalist Fareed Zakaria of CNN and Newsweek showed his true profile in cowardice when he advised Yale University Press not to include images of the Prophet Mohammed in a book about the controversy stirred by the 2005 publication of the Danish cartoons.
- There's been a lot of talk lately about balanced reporting. These examples show how easily terrorists and their sympathizers receive more than the benefit of the doubt in the public debate.
- They get outright support from supposedly neutral third party observers and license to continue their deceit and treachery.

- House ethics investigators have been scrutinizing the activities of more than 30 lawmakers and several aides in inquiries about issues including defense lobbying and corporate influence peddling, according to a confidential House ethics committee report prepared in July.
- The report appears to have been inadvertently placed on a publicly accessible computer network, and it was provided to The Washington Post by a source not connected to the congressional investigations. The committee said Thursday night that the document was released by a low-level staffer.
- The ethics committee is one of the most secretive panels in Congress, and its members and staff members sign oaths not to disclose any activities related to its past or present investigations.
- Watchdog groups have accused the committee of not actively pursuing inquiries; the newly disclosed document indicates the panel is conducting far more investigations than it had revealed.
- Shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, the committee chairman, Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), interrupted a series of House votes to alert lawmakers about the breach. She cautioned that some of the panel's activities are preliminary and not a conclusive sign of inappropriate behavior.
  
  "No inference should be made as to any member," she said.
- Rep. Jo Bonner (Ala.), the committee's ranking Republican, said the breach was an isolated incident
- The 22-page "Committee on Standards Weekly Summary Report" gives brief summaries of ethics panel investigations of the conduct of 19 lawmakers and a few staff members.
- It also outlines the work of the new Office of Congressional Ethics, a quasi-independent body that initiates investigations and provides recommendations to the ethics committee. The document indicated that the office was reviewing the activities of 14 other lawmakers. Some were under review by both ethics bodies.
- A broader inquiry
- Ethics committee investigations are not uncommon. Most result in private letters that either exonerate or reprimand a member. In some rare instances, the censure is more severe.
- the committee announced over the summer that it was reviewing lawmakers with connections to the now-closed PMA Group, a lobbying firm.
- Many of the broad outlines of the cases cited in the July document are known --
- But the document indicates that the inquiry was broader than initially believed. It included a review of seven lawmakers on the House Appropriations defense subcommittee who have steered federal money to the firm's clients and have also received large campaign contributions.
- The document also disclosed that:
- -- Ethics committee staff members have interviewed House Ways and Means Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) about one element of the complex investigation of his personal finances, as well as the lawmaker's top aide and his son.
- Rangel said he spoke with ethics committee staff members regarding a conference that he and four other members of the Congressional Black Caucus attended last November in St. Martin. The trip initially was said to be sponsored by a nonprofit foundation run by a newspaper.
- But the three-day event, at a luxury resort, was underwritten by major corporations such as Citigroup, Pfizer and AT&T.
- Rules passed in 2007, shortly after Democrats reclaimed the majority following a wave of corruption cases against Republicans, bar private companies from paying for congressional travel.
- Rangel said he has not discussed other parts of the investigation of his finances with the committee. "I'm waiting for that, anxiously," he said.
- -- The Justice Department has told the ethics panel to suspend a probe of Rep. Alan B. Mollohan (D-W.Va.), whose personal finances federal investigators began reviewing in early 2006 after complaints from a conservative group that he was not fully revealing his real estate holdings.
- There has been no public action on that inquiry for several years. But the department's request in early July to the committee suggests that the case continues to draw the attention of federal investigators, who often ask that the House and Senate ethics panels refrain from taking action against members whom the department is already investigating.
- Mollohan said that he was not aware of any ongoing interest by the Justice Department in his case and that he and his attorneys have not heard from federal investigators. "The answer is no," he said.
- -- The committee on June 9 authorized issuance of subpoenas to the Justice Department, the National Security Agency and the FBI for "certain intercepted communications" regarding Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.).
- As was reported earlier this year, Harman was heard in a 2005 conversation agreeing to an Israeli operative's request to try to obtain leniency for two pro-Israel lobbyists in exchange for the agent's help in lobbying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to name her chairman of the intelligence committee.
- The department, a former U.S. official said, declined to respond to the subpoena.
- Harman said that the ethics committee has not contacted her and that she has no knowledge that the subpoena was ever issued. "I don't believe that's true," she said. "As far as I'm concerned, this smear has been over for three years."
- In June 2009, a Justice Department official wrote in a letter to an attorney for Harman that she was "neither a subject nor a target" of a criminal investigation.
- The panel said Thursday, however, that it is ending a probe of Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) after finding no ethical violations, and that it is investigating the financial connections of two California Democrats.
- Because of the secretive nature of the ethics committee, it was difficult to assess the current status of the investigations cited in the July document.
- The committee did not detail the two newly disclosed investigations.
- However, according to the July document, Rep. Maxine Waters, a high-ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee, came under scrutiny because of activities involving OneUnited Bank of Massachusetts, in which her husband owns at least $250,000 in stock.
- In December, Treasury selected OneUnited as an early participant in the bank bailout program, injecting $12.1 million.
- Waters arranged a September 2008 meeting at the Treasury Department where OneUnited executives asked for government money.
- The other, Rep. Laura Richardson, may have failed to mention property, income and liabilities on financial disclosure forms.
- File-sharing
- The committee's review of investigations became available on file-sharing networks because of a junior staff member's use of the software while working from home, Lofgren and Bonner said in a statement issued Thursday night. The staffer was fired, a congressional aide said.
- The committee "is taking all appropriate steps to deal with this issue," they said, noting that neither the committee nor the House's information systems were breached in any way.
- "Peer-to-peer" technology has previously caused inadvertent breaches of sensitive financial, defense-related and personal data from government and commercial networks, and it is prohibited on House networks.
- House administration rules require that if a lawmaker or staff member takes work home, "all users of House sensitive information must protect the confidentiality of sensitive information" from unauthorized disclosure.
- Leo Wise, chief counsel for the Office of Congressional Ethics, declined to comment, citing office policy against confirming or denying the existence of investigations. A Justice Department spokeswoman also declined to comment, citing a similar policy.

- Tampa, Florida -- Most stories about fallen soldiers end with Taps, but Susan Price says as she is learning about the details of her son's death, the story is just beginning.
- Price says her son, Aaron Michael Kenefick, is gone, but she is a mother with the deepest wound you can imagine.
- However, this mother of the man who was twice selected Marine of the year says she and the families of other fallen soldiers are upset about the way the troops on the ground in Afghanistan are being treated by the Pentagon
- According to Price, they are all concerned. She says they don't mind defending America, but she says the men and women who are protecting America need to be protected.
- Price says it is clear her son wasn't protected September 8th when he died in a battle with the Taliban.
- His unit was trapped in a fire fight.
- The men were told before they left on the mission helicopters would be there for support within five minutes if a problem occurred.
- Journalist Jonathan Landay was embedded with Kenefick's unit.
- Landay says they kept hearing, 15 minutes more time after time, and it was apparent the helicopters were not coming.
- According to Landay, as they called for the helicopters, the unit was told it would be 15 minutes.
- Price asks if America can't protect its men and women, how can it protect the Afghan people?
- But what upset this mother of a fallen hero even more is that when her son's unit was under fire, they couldn't get artillery support that might have saved his life.
- Landay says the U.S. commanders declined to provide the artillery, citing new rules that were instituted to cut down on civilian casualties. After hearing that, Price says the Pentagon has to change the rules of engagement. She says if the county is going to fight, let's fight, but if not she asks why we are there.
- So as guns fire and Taps plays, this is not the end for Susan Price, but the beginning of fight for her son's memory.

- It's time we hold the right people accountable, not law-abiding citizens. We are not the problem. It's criminals and the politicians who coddle them.
- If you read Part I, II, and III there is no doubt about what our position should be regarding gun laws. However, there are those gun owners that feel real uncomfortable with the notion of no gun control laws at all.
- These are folks that are mostly under fifty years of age who probably consider the hoop-jumping a safety issue or just a way of life.
- These are folks who accept the system for what it is. It may restrict their rights, not allow them to buy the gun they want, but if it keeps criminals from getting guns and makes us safer, it’s worth it they’ll say.
- Again, over 20,000 gun laws in this country haven’t kept criminals from getting guns if they want them.
- If the gun law system is designed to keep criminals from using it, and it drives them off to an ever-growing black market, what’s the point of having it?
- If the only people subject to the process are law-abiding citizens it hardly serves any purpose of keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. It’s simply a terrible waste of law enforcement resources and our hard earned taxes we give the government.
- Let’s go through this and add some meat around it so it makes some sense.
- Felons
  
  We don’t want felons to buy guns. As a result they don’t use the system law-abiding citizens’ use. Let’s at least be intellectually honest about this issue. Felons get their guns despite government restrictions.
- And boy do we have restrictions. Many hours of reading will be required for California’s firearm laws and when finished, you will understand little about firearms restrictions, other than there a lot of them.
- You can read the laws on the California DOJ’s website. It is 33 pages long when printed, all implemented to ‘keep us safe.’
- After taking a look at it, ask yourself two questions: Do criminals follow these rules? Am I safer knowing that laws exist that are utterly and completely indecipherable by the average college educated person?
- Terrorists/Illegal Aliens
- The latest nonsense from the anti-gun crowd is that if we don’t restrict access to guns, terrorists will get hold of them. And, illegal immigrants can come to this country and buy guns at will and ship them to who knows where, like Mexico, or use them here to commit crimes. We can’t allow that they say.
- Government can be our own worst enemy when it comes to common sense.
- You see, terrorists entering this country illegally or people entering the country illegally from around the world, not just Mexico, is an immigration problem, not a gun rights issue.
- The government’s lax attitude on this issue should not be a reason to restrict rights of American citizens.
- Gun owners should demand that our borders be protected. If you are here illegally in possession of a firearm the law should be swift and severe, which we will reviewed later.
- If you think that our borders should be open, then please don’t be surprised of the consequences. But your desire to keep the border open should not be cause for Americans to either lose their rights or have them severely restricted. Agreed?
- What about nut cases?
- Well, what about them? Yes, we hear about nut cases going on a rampage every year or two. In virtually all cases these people were allowed to purchase firearms legally.
- A number of the shooters we find are on some form of medication prescribed for mental disorders. In most cases they have stopped taking their meds. Millions of people in this country are under care by a licensed doctor and are routinely prescribed anti-depressants. They live a very normal life. When someone goes on a rampage, something else is wrong in that person’s life and brain.
- The system fails to catch these people. Does that mean you should jump through hoops and live with restrictions on your right to self-defense because an extreme minority might commit violent acts?
- Statistically, are many more times likely to be hit by a bolt of lightning before being shot by a shooter on a rampage. You are hundreds of times more likely to go down in a plane crash or killed in an automobile accident.
- Let’s not believe that mass shootings are something that happens frequently. They are extraordinarily rare and an unlikely scenario that in no way should justify an entire nation being subject to Second Amendment restrictions.
- Restraining Orders
- In California filing for divorce is all that is required to obtain a restraining order against a spouse. There is no hearing and no evidence. There is no proof required that you are a danger to your spouse.
- It’s just another item on the bill of itemized charges a divorce attorney charges the spouse. But, you lose your right to purchase or own a firearm.
- And it’s not easy getting your guns back after they have been confiscated by local law enforcement.
- A friend in San Diego, a successful professional with no history of violence and no arrest record, spent five years and a small fortune in legal fees after the divorce was final trying to get his firearms returned to him. That isn’t right. But that’s one of the things law enforcement and legal profession spends its time doing.
- The stupid part of all this is that people actually believe they are safe when they have a restraining order out against another person. How many times have we heard about someone killed by a person supposedly under protection of a restraining order? A piece of paper isn’t going to stop anyone. But a gun will.
- Unfortunately more often than not the victim is not armed because they can’t get a concealed carry permit in California.
- You see, having a restraining order out against an individual is not enough of a reason in most California counties to warrant issuing a permit. Restraining orders are handed out like candy on Halloween in this state.
- You would think there would be hundreds-of-thousands with carry permits. Remember, a restraining order does not require evidence, despite what the law might say. It’s just one person who says they are threatened by another.
- To obtain a CCW in some communities you must prove that there has been a threat against your life, and in some counties that’s not even enough for a CCW. A restraining order is not generally accepted as a valid reason for a CCW in most locations in California.
- We could spend pages going through various ‘what about’ or ‘what if’ scenarios. The possibilities are limitless but anecdotal.
- So, what’s next?
- Look, if we are advocating a complete rollback of gun laws to 1967, there has got to be something that protects citizens from armed criminals other than then a bunch of law-abiding citizens jumping through hoops. We know that doesn’t work.
- Let’s start with a premise that we live in a free society. We have a Second Amendment which guarantees the right to firearms ownership without infringement.
- It is a fundamental right, as is freedom of the press, the right to free expression, or the right to assemble. We have the right to be secure in our papers and property from unreasonable search and seizure.
- These are but some of the fundamental rights that should be maintained with the utmost attention by politicians, law enforcement and the judicial system.
- When the fundamentals of freedom are violated or abused, not only by government, but individuals as well, the punishment should be swift and sure.
- A felon (on probation or parole) in possession of a firearm should automatically receive a minimum of 20 years without the possibility of early release.
- The use of a gun in the commission of a crime should be an automatic sentence of 20 years in prison without the possibility of early release.
- If you are an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, it’s 20 years in prison. If someone is wounded during the commission of a crime, it’s life in prison with no possibility for parole for the shooter along with all accomplices.
- If someone is killed, it’s the death penalty, no exceptions.
- The days of murderers on parole need to end. That is nonsense and politicians need to hear from us on this issue loud and clear.
- The premise of stiff sentencing is very simple. We remove the burden from the law-abiding and place it on criminals.
- What would be the outcome of these ‘draconian’ rules that some might call them? Well, you can be certain a criminal will think twice before using a gun to commit a crime.
- In fact, with severe sentences like this, it’s a good bet that the majority will forgo using a gun whenever possible. It’s not worth it.
- And those that do use a gun have violated a basic trust of living in a free society. They don’t deserve the freedom they have been given. But it certainly is not right when the freedoms of all are curtailed for the actions of the few.
- Here comes the hard part. How do we roll back the law? That’s coming in Part V. Stay tuned.

- If criminals are buying guns on the streets with no background checks, does it make sense that you and I go through the process of a background check just so you can get an official stamp of approval from the government? It makes no sense whatsoever.
- 9-18-09 - In Part II of this series we took a look at the 4473 DROS form and found that it really serves no purpose. It doesn’t prevent criminals from obtaining firearms. In fact, the 4473 is an incredible waste of time with absolutely no purpose.
- We also pointed out if the only two organizations that care about the 4473 DROS form are the ATF and dealers, why bother with it? After all, it was politicians who mandated it, and prior to the 4473 form the ATF could have cared less.
- In fact, no one cared that there was no 4473 form. It’s nothing more than an effort to convince citizens that if a 4473 form is filled out, that we’re somehow safer for it, when in fact, it does nothing of the sort.
- But, how does the ATF find out if someone is dealing guns illegally if they can’t go back to the dealer and find the person that purchased the guns in the first place? My answer to that would be: Who in the hell cares?
- Look, if someone wants a gun in this country, in any state, in any city, regardless of how strict local or state gun laws are, they’ll get one.
- A 4473 doesn’t stop criminals from obtaining guns. Do you think criminals go to the store and fill out a 4473? Most don’t bother, and those that do are denied the purchase through the background check.
- What do they do next if they’re intent on buying a gun? They turn to the black market.
- And yes, in case you’re wondering, the background check needs to go away as well. Those few criminals dumb enough to go to a gun store and go through the background check very quickly find out that background checks aren’t required when buying guns on the street in the black market.
- So the question is, why should law-abiding citizens be subject to background checks?
- If criminals are buying guns on the streets with no background checks, does it make sense that you and I go through the process of a background check just so you can get an official stamp of approval from the government? It makes no sense whatsoever.
- Government is the cause of black markets
- Whether guns are restricted due to regulations, excessive litigation, or law enforcement intervention, or all of the above, it matters not.
- The price will rise. Government has driven the price up far beyond the cost of production or inflation. It has become quite lucrative to get into the business of selling guns illegally.
- In response, the government increases spending on law enforcement resources that didn’t exist prior to the restrictions to try and stop crimes that didn’t previously exist.
- Government has created a black market.
- But, the fact that prices have shot up dramatically doesn’t deter criminals. That’s why there is a black market.
- We know there has been a concerted effort to price guns out of the reach of the common man in the belief that if they are too expensive, poor people will not have access to them.
- And, as everyone knows, at least politicians believe this, poor people are the cause of crime.
- Ergo, high priced guns, equals reduced crime. The only problem with that theory is it also spawns another form of crime and that is the theft of firearms from homes and gun stores.
- There was a time when most gun owners didn’t have a safe in their home. They kept guns in the closet or in a glass cabinet to show them off. Why not? The theft of guns prior to all the laws and restrictions over the last 40 years were quite rare.
- You could get them at a reasonable price almost anywhere. Why would criminals want to be burdened down carrying around a bunch of guns when there were a lot of other items in a house that had more value?
- It’s a different story today. We now have criminals who specifically target the homes of known gun owners. Theft of firearms feeds the need for low cost firearms in the criminal underworld. Prior to all the restrictions, criminals just purchased them legally.
- The end result is that nothing has changed prior to or after all the regulations and laws, other than more gun crimes.
- If criminals want a gun, they get one. It’s that simple.
- The only difference is we keep several thousand government employees on the payroll at $800,000,000 a year to chase down newly created “gun” crimes. And, we’ve created a whole new field of criminal expertise which revolves around the theft and trade of guns.
- Despite all this, there is a side benefit. We keep a lot of lawyers employed defending and prosecuting all the new gun laws. And that’s important to the gun-banners in congress, the majority of which are Democrats.
- And, if you don’t know yet, one of the primary donors to the Democratic Party are the lawyers and the legal industry.
- Attorneys know which side their bread is buttered. As long as we have Democrats making laws, we have new laws being churned out left and right, just waiting to be broken by otherwise law-abiding citizens. And those people need attorneys, lots of them.
- The system feeds on itself, but the people who started the mess and continue to feed the system are politicians who pander fear to Americans that if guns aren’t controlled, we’ll all end up in the streets shooting one another. Utter stupidity, don’t you think?
- The stupid part has happened before
- It’s like the prohibition era early in the last century. Prohibition was not a shining moment in our management of the constitutional amendment process.
- The Eighteenth and Twenty-first Amendments stands as permanent reminders of political stupidity. The results of prohibition are a lesson in how people react to restrictions when they simply don’t want to play the game.
- We didn’t have “rum runners” prior to prohibition. We didn’t have neighborhood “speakeasies” that operated illegally to provide citizens with illegally manufactured booze. An entire underground industry was spawned when alcohol was constitutionally banned in this country.
- Millions of people were employed to illegally manufacture, transport, sell and offer at retail a product that one day was perfectly legal and had been for thousands of years, and the next day was not.
- The money was so good, neighborhood police were paid off to look the other way. That’s the nature of a black market.
- It not only creates illegal activities, but spawns political corruption. Local and federal law enforcement geared up to fight illegal booze. But it didn’t work.
- Prohibition was eventually repealed some 13 years later. Law enforcement spent the vast majority of their time chasing down moonshiners and busting the local speakeasies time and time again.
- They came to the conclusion that it can’t be stopped. It is one of the few instances in history where a law was willingly reversed because it was impossible to enforce.
- The people of the country defiantly ignored it and were not about to stop drinking alcohol because of something as minor as a constitutional amendment for crying out loud.
- Guns aren’t going away and neither will crime. Murder existed prior to guns. It will exist long after we are all dead and gone.
- The same thing applies to guns.
- As long as human beings exist on the face of the earth, crime committed by criminals against law-abiding citizens will continue. Today they shoot people. Yesterday that stabbed them or put an arrow through them.
- Before arrows and spears they clubbed them to death. Prior to that they used stones and bashed the side of their heads in. Criminals have been around since the beginning of human existence.
- After all, the first recorded murder was the son of Adam and Eve, when Cain murdered his brother Abel.
- If somehow government actually managed to eliminate all firearms, an impossible task, do you think for one minute that criminals will go straight and suddenly crime will evaporate to nothing? History would say no.
- So, how do we fix this mess we’re in? That will be the subject of my next commentary.

- How many more crimes will be created tomorrow that aren’t crimes today for the ATF to enforce? How many more budget increases will be granted before the “F” in ATF is completely defunded?
- 9-16-09 - In my last commentary, “Get the F out of ATF,” I ended it with a statement that it was an abomination that taxpayers spend $800,000,000 a year to fund a government agency whose mission is contrary to our Constitution.
- The ATF has a mission to enforce laws of which well over 95% didn’t even exist 42 years ago.
- The ATF exists only because politicians thought it necessary to restrict citizens’ access to firearms. Otherwise, there would be no law enforcement agency called BATFE. Instead, it would be called BATE.
- In 1967 we didn’t have problems selling firearms across state lines. If you, living in California, wanted to buy a rifle from Joe’s gun shop in Dallas that you found in Shotgun News, you called them on the phone, sent them a check, or gave them your credit card information, and a few days later it would arrive at your home.
- But let’s go through this again so it is clearly understood
- Today, moving a firearm without the proper documentation or credentials across state lines will be cause for spending some time behind bars.
- Let’s take a look at one of the simplest, and not surprisingly, one of the dumbest gun laws of the entire spectrum of laws implemented in the last 42 years. Let’s look at the 4473 DROS form.
- DROS stands for Dealers Record of Sale. If a 4473 DROS form is not filled out when a dealer makes a sale, and I might add, recording the information precisely as prescribed by law, it is an illegal sale.
- Now I ask a question of you prudent citizen. Who cares if there is a law requiring a 4473 DROS form? Do I care? No. Do you care? Probably not. Does the dealer care? The dealer only cares because if it isn’t filled out properly or omitted, he could lose his license, be cited, prosecuted, fined or even jailed if its chronic.
- In other words if he doesn’t have a 4473 DROS filled out and put into the dealer’s filing cabinet, he could be in trouble when the ATF comes looking for it.
- Do I still care? No I don’t. Do you care if the dealer has it filled out and puts it into his filing cabinet? Probably not. But the ATF cares.
- They care because politicians told them they were going to require the dealer to fill out a 4473 DROS for each firearm transfer and make them put it into a filing cabinet.
- And, the job of the ATF is to make sure the dealer filled it out accurately and filed it. If you didn’t understand this process and the requirements, I can understand if you have been nervous all these years about firearm sales.
- But, I’m sure, like thousands of others who are now reading this, you feel much safer knowing that your DROS form is resting peacefully in a filing cabinet at your local gun dealer. I know I can sleep at night. Now you can too.
- But seriously, I ask you again. If no one cares other than politicians and the ATF, why is it a law? Why should there be an agency designated with the duty to make sure the 4473 DROS form has been filled out and placed in the dealer’s filing cabinet?
- Well, let me tell you what the politicians who created this law said it would do. It will reduce crime.
- Now, don’t you feel completely stupid and inadequate? Think of all the lives that have been saved because of it. Even if it was just one life, isn’t it worth it? Again, I digress and find myself getting caught up in the moment.
- You see, the 4473 DROS form is what I like to refer to as a government initiated “hoop jumping” session. This is the process by which the government makes you and the dealer jump through hoops like trained dogs in belief that if you jump hard enough and high enough, that crime will be deterred.
- None of it, not a single law on the books has done anything to reduce crime rates. Not a thing.
- And, I challenge anyone to prove otherwise with hard cold data, not B.S.
- No one from the Brady Bunch, no one from the ATF and no one from the federal government can prove it. No one will prove it.
- You see, I can make that statement because all I have to do is show you the FBI’s Uniform Crime Statistics for the last century.
- And the official scoreboard shows nothing other than a big jump in violent crime starting in the late sixties and remaining well above historical levels for the last 42 years. All this nonsense passed down year after year, gun bill after gun bill, with the continuing promise of reducing crime, has in fact done nothing reduce violent crime rates.
- This is why some Americans despise the “F” in ATF and the politicians who promote it, fund it, and promulgate its existence.
- We have been duped by politicians for over 40 years that gun control will reduce crime. They have continually lied, deceived and stretched the truth, but they have not dealt straight with the American people on this issue.
- With all the Republican rhetoric and grandstanding about reigning in the ATF’s budget because of their “heavy-handed” tactics against the American people, the ATF’s budget increases each and every year by millions. They have done nothing to restrain the growth of the ATF. Democrats and Republicans are both to blame. None are innocent in this.
- How long and how many times will we be made to look stupid by politicians on this issue? How many more crimes will be created tomorrow that aren’t crimes today for the ATF to enforce? How many more budget increases will be granted before the “F” in ATF is completely defunded? How many more times are gun owners going to be sucker-punched into believing that some gun laws are a good thing? Let me be the first to pop your bubble. There is no such thing as a good gun law! They’re all bad and they all encroach on the rights of those with no intent of committing a crime.

- As a nation, we should be ashamed that a $1.12 billion agency exists to restrict constitutional rights.
- 9/6/09 - The roots of the ATF go back to 1789 as the tax collector for imported spirits.
- The ATF under different names maintained that primary mission as a tax collector up until around 1968.
- In 1934 the agency was known as the Alcohol Tax Unit, (ATU) reporting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (IRS in those days).
- The ATU spent a brief stint under the FBI during prohibition but was transferred back to the revenue bureau within a few years.
- Its mission was to collect taxes related to firearms transactions as a result of passage of the Federal Firearms Act in 1934 as well as taxes on alcohol and tobacco.
- The ATU remained part of the IRS throughout passage of the 1968 Gun Control Act at which time duties of firearm enforcement were added to the unit along with explosives investigations.
- In 1970 the Alcohol Tax Unit was renamed the Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms Division. It is important to note that prior to this time, very little in the way of firearms related investigations were conducted by the ATU.
- Prior to 1968 virtually no laws existed restricting the transfer of a firearm from person-to-person or dealer-to-person. Hence, no gun laws meant no violations, smuggling, or illegal transfers of firearms. Prior to the Gun Control Act of 1968, the ATF was not much more than a tax collection agency for the IRS.
- The ATF division remained under control of the IRS until 1972 when it was transferred to the Treasury Department and transitioned from a tax collection agency into a law enforcement agency.
- In 2003 ATF was transferred from Treasury to Homeland Security.
- At the same time Treasury formed the Alcohol, Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, while law enforcement duties went to the ATF under Homeland Security.
- Two bureaucracies were created out of one.
- In addition, Homeland Security tacked on the “E” for explosives. The official name of ATF today is the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, & Explosives (BATFE).
- The BATFE has grown at an alarming rate since its inception in 1972.
- Its 2010 budget request is $1,120,000,000, a $66.5 million increase over 2009. That’s $1.12 billion dollars for an agency whose budget has grown an average of $30 million every year since 1978.
- 72% of its budget is dedicated to firearm regulation enforcement, or over $800,000,000.
- How much was spent prior to the 1968 Gun Control Act? Not much other than to collect excise taxes in support of the 1934 firearms law. The balance of ATF’s budget is dedicated to alcohol and tobacco enforcement. Despite what we may think, the F portion of ATF is a relatively new function.
- For those who say we need the ATF to enforce gun regulations, let’s go back prior to the 1968 Gun Control Act.
- If you or I were purchasing a firearm in 1967, we could go to most any Sears store and buy a rifle off the shelf with a minimal amount of paperwork.
- In essence, it was not more than a receipt for payment of the rifle. If we didn’t feel like going to Sears, we could order it through their catalog and a week or so later it would arrive in the mail. Handgun purchases were not much different.
- The concept of gun trafficking was unheard of in those days. There were no background checks, no waiting periods, and virtually no restrictions other than on fully automatic firearms as a result of the 1934 restrictions.
- Firearm thefts from gun stores and homes were rare. Gun related crimes were far below anything we see today, and murder rates were as much 2 to 5 times less than today.
- Home invasions weren’t invented yet, neither were car hijackings. Drug use was not widespread and gang related killings were limited to occasional inner city stabbings.
- When people talk about the quiet 1960’s, it was going on far longer than before the sixties. The U.S. was a very low-crime country from our very beginning up until the very early 1970s with the exception of during the prohibition on alcohol early last century.
- During that time the murder rate spiked as criminal elements fought over control of illegal distribution of alcohol. Sound familiar?
- The Democrats, in particular Senator Thomas Dodd, heavily promoted the 1968 law as a juvenile crime reduction bill.
- Then along came gun control laws and restrictions.
- Thomas Dodd was eventually censured in the Senate for diverting political campaign funds to his personal account, then spending the money.
- If the name is familiar, he is the father of Senator Chris Dodd, who is also an advocate of limiting gun rights. His father was eventually defeated in 1970 with his seat taken by Lowell Weicker.
- And are we better off since GCA-68?
- Crime statistics would say no. Are we better off with the thousands of gun laws enacted nationwide since GCA-68? Again, the answer would be no. Violent crime rose over the 41-year period without regard to strict gun control laws enacted during that time.
- So, let’s get rid of the gun laws.
- The idea of eliminating gun restrictions would seem incredibly outlandish to a significant portion of Americans today. Most have been so conditioned by our government that ownership of guns creates crime, if elimination of gun laws were placed on a referendum for voters, it would likely go down in defeat.
- Yet, history proves that unrestricted gun rights were quite prevalent for the majority of our history during which we experienced relatively low levels of crime.
- If gun availability were unrestricted, then criminals would obtain guns. Criminals obtain guns today despite the myriad of restrictions and laws.
- But what of criminals you ask?
- If 2% of the population has criminal tendencies, does it make sense to place restrictions on the other 98%?
- A significant number of felons that are restricted from owning guns are jailed for illegal possession of weapons anyway at some point in their careers. That law doesn’t have to change.
- What needs to change is the never-ending pursuit of politicians creating laws that frankly do not reduce crime but affects the 98% of the population that aren’t criminals.
- Politicians have convinced Americans that if they can accept inconvenience, limits, restrictions, and in some cases outright bans, that somehow the 2% that are criminals will end their criminal activities and seek gainful employment.
- Criminal acts and law-abiding citizens, by definition, are not remotely related to one another. The idea that a criminal will turn over a new leaf because you purchased a firearm legally with a mountain of paperwork, background checks and a waiting period is preposterous on its face.
- More-so the notion that banning certain firearms from legal ownership by law-abiding citizens reduces crime is even more ridiculous.
- If 98% of the population is law-abiding and won’t commit a crime with their firearm, does it stand to reason that preventing them from owning that firearm will reduce crime? Well of course not.
- The belief that it will reduce crime is driven by anti-gun nonsense that suggests the mere ownership of a firearm will induce a law-abiding citizen to commit a crime. Restrictions on law-abiding citizens have no affect on crime whatsoever.
- But, what would become of the ATF if firearms were traded, sold and otherwise distributed without restrictions?
- As long as Americans consume alcohol and cigarettes that are taxed far beyond reason, there will be smuggling and trafficking of those items to circumvent the law. The ATF can shrink in size and dedicate the balance of its resources for chasing tax-evading cigarette smugglers and moonshiners until politicians come to their senses and realize that they themselves are the cause of crime, not criminals.
- We do know this. Our government has an insatiable appetite for money.
- The investigations into bombings and terrorism should go to the FBI where it rightfully belongs.
- Will Americans and politicians ever come to their senses on eliminating the labyrinth of gun laws? It’s unlikely.
- We unfortunately are byproducts of our environment. Our environment has been filled with crazy propaganda made up of illogical ideas and notions.
- A famous American once said ‘there’s a sucker born every minute,’ and we have a few million to prove this point. Too many Americans have accepted illogical ideas as fact.
- If Americans only thought about it for five minutes, they would realize how utterly ignorant they have been. Meanwhile, we gainfully employ 5000 people for $1.12 billion a year at the ATF.
- Some demand ever-increasing restrictions on the law-abiding, under the assumption that we need to protect us from ourselves.
- And, for each law that is created, creates the opportunity for someone to violate the law, increasing crime, therefore increasing expenditures to fight crime, which were not crimes prior to the law. This is not a prescription for common sense. However, we are not known as a nation with common sense when it comes to gun laws.
- End the Fear of Your Government
- As an example, if you plowed around the pro-gun blogs lately, you’ve seen discussion on open-carry. Open-carry advocates walk around with unloaded firearms on their hips in a display of protest for overly restrictive gun rights in California.
- The protesters are pointing out the difficulty, and in some communities how impossible it is to obtain a conceal-carry permit. They want CCW laws changed to “shall-issue” like the majority of the states.
- Well now, does it surprise anyone to read how otherwise pro-gun advocates are saying open-carry demonstrations should be stopped? They are foolish they say. They say if you continue to demonstrate the California legislature will act to eliminate the right.
- Well, as someone so eloquently put it: ‘What good is a right if you can’t exercise it?’ That’s an outstanding response that is simple to understand. It bears repeating. What good is a right if you can’t exercise it?
- It’s fear of the government. They fear their government and the legal retribution that legislators can muster once they are perceived as being mocked or having their noses tweaked by the very laws they created.
- Despite being “pro-gun” some have vehemently chastised the open-carry demonstrators. Why?
- In other words, they fear punishment from politicians. They feel the need to placate them. They give them a level of respect that defies the fact that they are anti-constitutionalists. The very people they placate don’t believe you have any gun rights.
- Is that how we should live our lives? Should gun owners live in fear of what politicians might do to us?
- And what does it matter to gun owners who disagree with the open-carry demonstrators if the legislature passed a law banning it? Those who disagree wouldn’t exercise their right anyway, so they have lost nothing.
- ‘Oh, wait a minute they’ll say.’ It might be a problem in the courts if they ban open-carry in California. I have to laugh at some of these people. Those who will not fight for what is right, live in fear.
- The open-carry debate is a classic example of how some gun owners have fallen into the trap of fear.
- Ending America’s restrictive gun laws is not a prescription for chaos. We’ve proven that for 170 years prior to GCA-68 and the myriad of gun laws implemented since then.
- We didn’t need the ATF prior to 1972 to enforce gun laws, because we didn’t have any. We focused on the criminals in those days, not the 98% who are law-abiding.
- Our system of government has degraded from dealing with the exceptions of our society to implementing laws with a ‘one-size-fits-all’ mentality. This is socialism, not a representative republic based on the principle of individual rights.
- In this country we are free to succeed, or if we choose, to not succeed. In this country we have a right to choose how we live our lives. We have the right to address our grievances with the government. We have the right to civil discourse and voice our displeasure.
- Most importantly, we have the right to change our government and those elements within it that don’t serve our interest of maintaining individual rights.
- And, each of us has the right to do it individually or as part of a group of like minded citizens.
- If we are to rebuild this country as it was originally intended, we need to eliminate those laws that infringe on an individual’s right to live as they so desire.
- That should be the mission of our government. If a law restricts our ability to live out our lives unmolested by government, it does not deserve to be a law.
- As a nation, we should be ashamed that a $1.12 billion agency exists with almost 75% of its resources dedicated for the purpose of restricting constitutional rights under the guise that it makes us safer as a country. It is an abomination to our Constitution and an affront to our civil rights. It’s time to get the “F” out of ATF.

  of us look at the leader of the free world and are frozen in our footsteps,
  watching in amazement, as our country’s history of freedom is unraveled
  like a ball of yarn.
- The millions of good men and women who gave their
  lives for our freedom are not only being taken for granted, but are actually
  being looked down upon as if they were part of the problem and the builders
  of an evil empire.
- We all think that President Obama is the reason for
  the massive attack on our freedom that we are witnessing, but if you really
  think deeply about why a perfectly intelligent and even somewhat intellectually
  brilliant human being could give away our beloved country with the ease
  and confidence of an Acorn employee dishing out advice to a pimp and a
  prostitute and not get caught, you would come to understand that President
  Obama is just a puppet in a world of deeply distorted demonic power managers.
- These people care nothing about Obama as a person, but only see that he
  is the perfect tool to destroy America as we know it!
- A few days ago, I was teaching entrepreneurship to a class of sixth and
  seventh graders, and our project was to transform the school into a fair.
- The first lesson they needed to learn was how to run an event. I explained
  that they needed to choose a president, vice president, secretary, and
  treasurer.
- First, I asked all of the kids who were interested in being
  president to gather around me, and I explained what their responsibilities
  would entail, telling them they would have to be a good leader and direct
  people, as well as organize different committees, etc. Then each one stood
  in front of the class and spoke a few words about why they wanted to be
  president and what they could do.
- I was sure that this one young man would
  be chosen because he was so confident, strong, and had a lot of experience
  with making his own money. I just knew he was the one!
- Each student caste
  a vote on a slip of paper, and when the votes were counted, to my absolute
  shock, the kids had chosen a boy who was silly and had no abilities or
  experience, just a cute personality.
- I was
  disappointed because I knew that this boy could not do the job, but the
  kids were thrilled with their decision.
- This boy had a few friends who
  had rallied the other kids in the class to vote for him, and he rose to
  power.
- After that, they voted for treasurer, and again, they voted for
  the weakest candidate. I was shocked again.
- I talked to my friend who
  is the headmistress of this school and asked her how this happened and
  why people are so invested in personality and not in character and ability?
- She said something that was so true, “Dianne, the kids who won the
  election stand for nothing; they are everyone’s friend and they
  are all things to all people. Even though the kids like the boy who they
  elected president, he will not make it past his first task!”
- I had
  to take a step back and think. I saw what had happened in that classroom
  is exactly what had happened in our country’s Presidential election
  last fall.
- Candidate Obama had done nothing really clever, and he actually
  warned the country that he was going to make some fundamental changes
  that would transform America into a new nation, and we sort of heard that
  but disbelieved our intuitions’ warnings.
- We need to give a big
  “Thank You” to the mainstream media for leading America to
  believe that Obama was a middle-of-the-road Democrat. Because they had
  an agenda of their own, they never pointed out any of his deceptions but
  only his warm, charming qualities and personality.
- Where in the world
  are the principled Democrats who will tell the Obama administration that
  the President isn’t actually wearing clothes, only make-believe
  suits that many of us actually see through.
- Even
  though the Obama administration thinks that many of us, including Sarah
  Palin, are dumb mobsters who want to make trouble, we are able to see
  the simple truth and are not going to allow him to make us, or our kids,
  believe that he is fully clothed!
- Many of our elected officials, both
  Republicans and Democrats, degrade us daily thinking that we are not aware
  of their own lack of clothing. We all see through their pretentious agendas
  and the backlash they are witnessing now is not going away. Americans
  are acting like true Americans again.
- We will
  remind them in upcoming elections not to mess with our freedom, and, oh
  yeah, they had better get out of their see-through clothing and put on
  the uniform of freedom again with the badge of honor pinned carefully
  to their principles, because us multi-tasking, entrepreneurial dads and
  moms are about to make some changes and would like to remind our elected
  officials that they work for us, and they are going to be fired!

Gerald Celente explains ‘Obamageddon’ forecast amid call for The Great American Renaissance

- Well, Gerald, you can gladly add Barello to the aforementioned list. As a fellow paesano I am going to join you – and break the absurd rules of politic correctness – by asserting that Wall Street and Washington D.C. are being run by psychopathic serial criminals.
- For those that feel this declaration is overzealous, please read the recent commentary of Jim Kouri, vice president and public information officer at the National Association of Chiefs of Police, wherein he likens the personality traits of politicians to serial killers.
- The mortgage market collapsed due to massive, unprecedented frauds.
- More people would realize this if mainstream media outlets properly exposed such crimes;
- granted, investigative journalism has been pushed aside, and in its place, we find an array of pseudo-celebrity, nonentity imbeciles like John and Kate Gosselin, desperate for their 15 minutes of shame.
- Either way, most mortgage frauds were facilitated by both lenders and borrowers – many of whom knowingly agreed to terms they could not afford.
- Through the process of securitization, these bad loans have been turned into hot potatoes for tossing, often with the help of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae;
- this has allowed lenders to deceitfully transfer risky loans to unsuspecting counterparties.
- Ratings agencies aided and abetted the racket by claiming these junk assets are safe; accordingly, corporations, municipalities, and a plethora of worldwide investment vehicles have purchased toxic garbage, and many risk collapsing under the weight of such.
- As this has happened, unregulated, over-the-counter derivatives have allowed the same criminals to secretly hedge bets against portfolios – knowing full well that many of them would indeed go sour – and when credit events occur, they collect truly absurd bounties.
- Accordingly, Gerald is no fan of derivatives. “They are ponzi schemes,” he said, before quipping that the term should really be “Madoffs” from now on. “Ponzi was a piker compared to Madoff, [which] is more appropriate, because they make off with all your money.”
- Per the latest assessment by the Bank for International Settlements, as of last December, the OTC derivatives market encompasses $592 trillion in notionally valued contracts. One should wonder how this is even possible, when the World GDP was estimated at a shy $61 trillion in 2008.
- This would also suggest that – when taken at face value, anyway – the potential liabilities for outstanding derivatives may exceed the entire world’s real wealth almost ten times over. With those odds, it sounds like another major financial disaster is just waiting to happen.
- In August, Harry Markopolos – the Madoff whistleblower that was ignored by the SEC for over a decade, while fearing for his own safety – stated that the derivatives market will fully collapse, and when it does, it will make Madoff “look like small time.”
- Despite this dire warning, the mainstream media has since ignored Markopolos, just as the SEC so prudently did for more than ten years.
- Bob Chapman of The International Forecaster recently wrote about the possibility of Chinese firms unilaterally defaulting on derivatives contracts; he notes that China may in fact consider these fraudulent assets to be de facto acts of economic warfare.
- In consideration of this purported viewpoint, it is interesting to note that Warren Buffet has been quoted as saying derivatives are “financial weapons of mass destruction.” Would you care to elaborate any further, Mr. Buffet?
- Another key derivatives critic is Christopher Story FRSA, editor of the UK-based International Currency Review, which he has been publishing for 40 years; Story counts central banks, sovereign treasuries, and government intelligence agencies around the world among subscribers.
- Noted as a former occasional adviser to Margaret Thatcher, he has long maintained that the entire derivatives sector is centered on fraud.
- His website also presents a chronicle of very serious allegations – tantamount to charges of ongoing, worldwide economic terrorism – against high-level individuals within the US government and financial sectors, including current and former presidents, cabinet secretaries, intelligence agents, as well as Federal Reserve and banking officials.
- It is common knowledge that severe consequences accompany the willful publication of libel in the UK; per Mr. Story, Britain’s Head of State, Her Majesty the Queen, and many other world leaders, are fully aware of these allegations.
- As he has not been prosecuted for disseminating libelous statements, one can only assume that these charges, spanning back at least six years, are indeed based on facts.
- Granted, I am in no position to individually authenticate purported crimes, but I can enlighten others on what is being published over an international landscape; after reviewing this catalogue of analysis – which forecast most of the events that are happening today – some will certainly be inclined to contact US law enforcement agents, and demand an investigation into these shocking claims.
- If that is the case, please do so in a civil manner. (Note: this report has been submitted directly to American authorities.)
- I mentioned Mr. Story’s stance on derivatives to Gerald; the other allegations were not specifically referenced during our conversation. “Story is one-hundred percent right…these are con games,” he said, in regards to derivatives.
- Clearly, the people running this nation are “out of control,” Celente continues, noting that as economic conditions further deteriorate “people are going to start losing it,” he said.
- “But, they are going to lose it in different ways: our greatest fear for the future [is] rampant crime, and the society breaking down.”
- He pauses briefly, and then offers a truly frightening thought. “When we say food riots, it’s going to people rioting just to eat.”
- Given these horrid possibilities, I ponder the following thoughts: up to $24 trillion of taxpayer funds will be used to subsidize a financial system that is reported to be in worse shape than it was one year ago –
- and per TARP watchdog Neil Barofsky, a lot of that money will never be recovered – while food riots may be approaching for many others?
- You have got to be kidding me. The aforementioned, perverse statements have no place in this world; my ancestors did not immigrate to America so that dilapidated thugs could become empowered by the fruits of their labor and create “the greatest depression” for this entire planet.
- Furthermore, it is important to point out that I inherited my blood from men that were the “Oath Keepers” of their respective heydays; indeed, my Great-Grandfather, Willard J. Kirchmer, 1st Lieutenant, US Army, World War 1, and my Grandfather, Mario Rocco Barello, Fireman, Second Class, US Navy, World War 2, took their oaths to support and defend the US Constitution exceptionally serious.
- As a descendent of these gentlemen, I can assure you that their oaths will continue to live on, unabatedly, through me.
- That being said, as a truly pivotal moment in our nation’s history approaches, We the People must assert our non-negotiable authority over what rightfully belongs to us: our government.
- “Politicians don’t care,” Gerald prudently concluded, before adding, “the only thing they are interested in is themselves, and if anybody thinks that a politician is losing sleep because they are losing their house, they had better grow up.”
- It is clear that people are in fact wizening up; the massive, ongoing ‘Tea Party’ protests are surely a sign of it.
- More importantly though, critics of these events must be fair, and recognize that the movement started long before the debate on healthcare reform entered the picture – it formed in response to the absurd bailouts of Wall Street criminals.
- Celente forecast the ongoing continuation of politically-charged protests several months ago, saying “we’re calling, of course, for an intellectual revolution: that people understand, become knowledgeable and not rise up against the government in an armed way, but in an intellectual way.”
- He also believes “we need a new, third [political] party.”
- Protesters are being labeled radical for utilizing their God-given, constitutionally protected freedom of speech to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
- As America wakes up, those in power are doing everything they can to discourage us.
- Be that as it may, public officials would be very wise to respect the words of John F. Kennedy, who once said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
- American Patriots must peacefully band together in this intellectual revolution – and embrace the principles of civil disobedience over violence – to force changes within our Federal Republic and its governing structures.
- By doing so, our nation will be empowered to foreclose on the ethically, morally, and financially bankrupt cesspool of corruption, which is destroying the entire world with it.
- In short, we need a change we can believe in; we need a new era – The Great American Renaissance – and we need it right now.
- “The whole system is breaking down and something new will be born, but if we use our intellect, rather than continue along the same path, we can create a better future,” says Celente.
- “We don’t need Wall Street, we need Main Street. We don’t need Wal-Marts, we need Mom & Pops. We don’t need agribusiness, we need family farms.
- We need to bring America back to when it was at its most, when it was the most egalitarian nation in the world, when the quality of life was at its highest. That was the model [for success].”
- “For America to regain its greatness, it has to regain its dignity. It has to bring back the model that worked in the past and push it forward…it’s a rediscovery…we have to go back to quality, and quality is the basis for success,” while at the present time, “we’re a junk food nation [that is fed] junk news.”
- We are also being crippled by outlandish, across-the-board corruption, and it must be stopped.
- In light of Gerald’s comments, I must note that research indicates a majority of Americans do not trust mainstream news outlets.
- Although many will not want to hear it, this degradation in confidence is partially attributed to lingering questions about 9/11; in the absence of any mature discourse on the subject, an unstoppable, ever-growing assortment of conspiracy theories have emerged within the public domain.
- At the same time, international media outlets are beginning to question the “official story”, while in the US, Truthers™ are unwittingly exploited by hoodwinks, which causes politicians and media to shun them; out of respect for the near 3,000 victims of 9/11, this state-of-affairs is collectively inexcusable.
- Over the past eight years, the media has also demonstrated a perceivable complicity in promoting lies to rally Americans behind ill-fated policies, such as the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq;
- furthermore, some outlets now appear to unapologetically support President Obama in every action, as if he is our best friend – and not a politician.
- Media executives should recognize that few will continue tolerating the brainless assumption that news outlets exist to merely report what the government tells them; such ignorant evasions will not validate the continued existence of organizations that are derelict in their mandated duty, which is to objectively question every alleged fact.
- Perhaps that is precisely why the oligopoly of media conglomerates is now impotent in mitigating the collapse of many sub-entities?
- If ever there was a time for the mainstream media to prove its worth, the time is now: a whirlwind of major political scandals are ripe for exposure, and they cannot be suppressed.
- Any outlet that demonstrates fortitude, and accurately reports on these emerging “gates” – particularly in the financial arena – will reap the massive benefits associated with public trust; in short, your audience shares will increase, along your advertising revenues.
- Directors at Fox News are ecstatic that the network’s viewership continues to grow, so bear with me as I state the obvious: political conspiracies offer an unparalleled level of appeal.
- To prove my point, one of this conglomerate’s most successful recent TV dramas – Prison Break – thrived due to its sharp, ongoing integration of high-level political conspiracies; at the same time, the show was obviously a smash because of its handsome breakout star, Wentworth Miller, a brilliantly talented man.
- Either way, imagine the ratings that Fox News would generate – and the income for its shareholders – if it were to integrate a model-of-the-sort in its news programming.
- Obviously, your exposures of ACORN have been groundbreaking, so why not have Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and/or Greta Van Susteren look into the following?
- Recently, 60 Minutes exposed the true nature of derivatives and how they have been used to manipulate markets in recent years; furthermore, right in this very article, Gerald Celente – whom Bill and Glenn have had on their shows – is on the record acknowledging rampant derivatives frauds, which if left unchecked, may destroy the US capitalist system as we know it.
- Glenn, I know that the collapse of capitalism is something you fear greatly, is it not?
- In the following, heavily underreported clip, Steve Kroft fearlessly addresses these de facto scams known as derivatives – primarily credit default swaps – and notes that they are:
  
  A form of legalized gambling that allows you to wager on [financial] outcomes without ever having to actually buy the stocks, and the bonds, and the mortgages [that they are written against]. It would have been illegal during most of the 20th century under the gaming laws, but in 2000, Congress gave Wall Street an exemption and it turned out to be a very bad idea.
- After viewing this explosive video, you will have seen Harvey Goldschmid, a Columbia University law professor, and former commissioner and general counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission acknowledging that the provisions of the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 were made into law “at the height of Wall Street and Washington's love affair with deregulation, an infatuation that was endorsed by President Clinton at the White House and encouraged by Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan.”
- At the very least, both gentlemen owe the American public real explanations as to why they supported such moves, and while we have their time, let’s ask about the allegations being directly lobbied at them by Mr. Christopher Story FRSA.
- In all fairness, though, it would not be right to lay the political blame for this disaster solely on the shoulders of former President Clinton, his administration, and Mr. Greenspan;
- no, we must give a fair share of attention to former Senator Phil Gramm, who is now vice chairman of the investment banking division at UBS, a criminal organization that recently agreed to pay nearly $800 million in fines to settle any US prosecution of its role in facilitating tax evasion.
- Mr. Gramm, whose utter contempt for the American public has been thoroughly demonstrated time and again, can also be thanked for sneaking the unmitigated, disastrous CFMA provisions – which were unlikely to have ever passed through Congress in a stand alone bill – into a Christmas-season appropriations bill that most House representatives clearly failed to read.
- The Senate later approved these toxic addendums in a unanimous vote, which coyly allowed CFMA to be signed into law.
- Obviously, many aspects of CFMA – particularly all clauses that provide legal certainty for unregulated OTC derivatives – must be rescinded immediately; however, this alone will not lead us, and the entire world, out of the financial crisis.
- As all of us know, the belief that some firms are too big to fail is, in-and-of-itself, an abject failure; accordingly, we must reverse this policy and dismantle every insolvent, transnational, all-in-one financial institution that has come to life – and collapsed – over the past decade.
- At this process unfolds, we need to examine why the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Clinton.
- This rubbish-encrusted non-improvement repealed key aspects of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, which became effective during the height of the Great Depression, and prohibited any one financial firm from partaking in commercial banking, investment banking, and/or insurance at the same time.
- A quick reflection brings two thoughts to mind: the first is that the use of the word modernization in finance bills tends to serve as an indicator that future problems will arise, so let’s refrain from using such terminology moving forward.
- Secondly, Mr. Gramm has once again demonstrated how connected his own hands are to this financial crisis, hook, line and sinker.
- With friends like you, Phil, who needs enemies? I urge investigators to keep that question in mind, especially as they continue to uncover the actions of Gramm and others, who literally believe they can do whatever they want, whenever they want.
- To be fair to the former senator, who has received a decent portion of this writer’s indignation, we should also pay close attention to the following 155 present members of Congress – 101 in the House, 54 in the Senate – that voted in favor of FSMA one decade ago.
- Thanks to the Center for Responsive Politics, we are able to deduce exactly how much money each of them have received in financial contributions, through 2008, from the very same industry that directly benefited from these changes.
- We need to reform our campaigning and election laws, and in doing so, we should adapt a more European model, which shuns the use of private funding, and severely limits overall campaign seasons, typically to around six weeks.
- The previous list, which totals into hundreds of millions of dollars, hammers the nail on why the influence of corporate funding is dangerouos, while the years 2007 and 2008 in America speak to the latter.
- Elections are not meant to be elaborate, multi-media rock concerts; they are supposed to be elections, plain and simple.
- Dr. Ron Paul – perhaps the only true, remaining Statesman in Washington, D.C. – deserves much gratitude from the American public;
- his courageous, uninterrupted opposition of the Federal Reserve spans back many years, and it ultimately proves why he is a major ally for those of us seeking The Great American Renaissance. Congresscritters should note his leadership skills, and follow them to the tee.
