- Now, the International Monetary Fund issued a warning on July 2nd, 2008, that some countries are now at a tipping point. 16) Sadly, some of the funds that have been hit the hardest are the retirement accounts of working Americans. Most 401 (k) retirement funds are now sinking dramatically. (17)
- On July 12th, 2008, the Pasadena-based IndyMac Bank failed. The bank had 32 billion dollars in assets and thirty-three branches, all of which were closed and taken over by the U.S. Government. Depositors have lost any deposit amounts in excess of 100,000 dollars, and the FDIC will need to pay out up to 8 billion dollars, which is about 15 percent of its entire reserves just from this one failure.   - Customers stood outside the locked doors and were begging and pleading for their money, but to no avail. It all happened before, and now it is happening again; and it is only the beginning!
  - How bad is it? On June 10th, 2008, the Wall Street Journal reported that troubled U.S. banks are in such bad condition that they are turning to African banks for eleventh hour bailouts.
  - Banks in Algeria, Angola, Libya, and Zimbabwe are being sought after to try to keep our American banks afloat. The title of the article is “U.S. Banks Go to Africa Begging.” (20)
  - Spiritual Change Agents!
  - It is no wonder that we are seeing so many signs of the wrath of God upon this country.
  - In a few short months, we will have a new President-elect in the United States, and no matter who it is, the change will be only for the worse. Our leaders in Washington are no longer people of integrity, who would preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
  - America is changing and is becoming more antichrist every day.
  - Our current leaders are actually change agents that are moving us away from original values and the old American way.
  - There is a new age concept at work that is changing our country into an integrated, interdependent unit of a satanic one world government.
  - Much evil surrounds both of these candidates, and Americans have no real choice.
  - Barack Hussein Obama and John McCain are both stooges in this antichrist project.
  - Along with eighteen other senators, Obama has already co-sponsored a bill that will annihilate every state law regulating and restricting abortion. This bill is called FOCA, or Freedom of Choice Act.
  - Barack Hussein Obama is running his entire campaign not on any definable issues, but rather on one word ? the word “change.”
  - In a July speech made to abortion advocates, Obama stated that his first act as President would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act. This act would make abortion on demand a fundamental right, and any state and local governments who do not go along with this new law would be exposed to costly civil actions for violation of the act.   - Is abortion going to become commonplace in Obama’s new America?
  - I am reminded of Jeremiah 2:34, which reads as follows: “Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.”
  - Where does Obama stand on the problem with illegal immigration? In a campaign speech made on July 8th, 2008, on CNN News, Obama’s response to that question was simple. He said, “Make sure your children learn to speak Spanish.” (22)
  - Obama is also reaching out to religions and church organizations, asking that churches get more involved with government. He is promising the religions federal money under the guise of charitable administration in return. Obama is calling this his New Faith Program. (23)
  - We have also learned that the popularity of Barack Hussein Obama, this political giant that seems to have come from nowhere, is so popular among young Americans that these young people are changing their middle names to Hussein. This is happening all over the United States among both men and women, according to a recent New York Times article. (24)
  - Is this man a change agent being used to bring all religions and ideologies into common and universal acceptance?
  - The popularity of Obama in America is one thing, but why is he so popular in other countries?
  - In India, a country with a population of 1.3 billion people, Obama is immensely popular. He is being presented with a two-foot gold-plated image of the Hindu god Hanuman.
  - This is the monkey deity in India, and an hour-long prayer meeting to sanctify the idol was held at Sankat Mochan Dham by temple priests. Obama accepted the idol and extended his thanks.
  - Brijmohan Bhama, a congressional leader in India, said, “Obama has deep faith in Lord Hanuman and that is why we are presenting an idol of Hanuman to him.” (25)
  - It was said that the idol will bring him luck from the god of the wind.
  - Ordinarily, an American presidential candidate campaigns in America. Why is Barack Hussein Obama going to Germany to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel? Why is Obama planning to make a speech at the Brandenburg Gate? This is the area near to where the Berlin Wall once stood, and it is the best known and most historically significant site in all of Germany, according to a chancellery official. (26)
  - Religions of Blasphemy!
  - When we realize that the numerous problems with our country are due to a conspiratorial, spiritual attack, we must also realize that our only defense and hope is the Lord Jesus Christ working through his true remnant people.
  - Religion in America has run amok, and people are scripturally illiterate and stone-blind to obvious error.
  - But where is the true church?
  - One example of this is the recent Todd Bentley so-called revival in Lakeland, Florida.
  - People are flocking to Bentley from all over the world to attend his healing meetings and be “zapped” by the spirit.
  - Bentley is covered with occult tattoos all over his body. He has numerous body piercings as well. Is this of God? Quite the contrary.
  - In Leviticus 19:28 we read as follows, “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.”
  - Bentley also touches people and causes them to fall backwards to the floor. This is called slaying in the spirit. The Bible warns us against this practice in Isaiah 28:13 as follows: “But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.” This is precisely what is happening to people who go to the Bentley meetings!
  - Emma’s primary job is to gather money for Bentley, and Bentley openly makes that claim. The very fact that so many people cannot see anything wrong with this reveals how far gone people are spiritually. In the absence of true discernment, people will always gravitate toward evil.
  - Todd Bentley also has an angel called Emma, who manifests certain powers and sprinkles spiritual gold dust on people.
  - In these final days before the return of our Saviour, blaspheming spirits and false teachers are rising up everywhere.
  - On January 1st, 2008, Oprah Winfrey launched her new Course in Miracles. It is a satellite radio course consisting of one lesson each day on the New Age Christ.
  - Lesson #29 requires the participants to go through their day affirming that “God is everything I see.”
  - Lesson #70 requires participants to say and believe, “My salvation comes from me.” (27)
  - Lesson #61 requires participants to repeat over and over, “I am the light of the world” (no reference is made to the Lord Jesus).
  - Recently, a pastor of a 15,600-member church preached a message entitled “How to Make Your Marriage Sizzle.” Pastor Kerry Shook delivered this reproachful message that is so vile and inappropriate that I could not even consider publishing any details.
  - I must say that I feel very outraged and even sick about all of the blasphemy against my Saviour, and it is being done in the name of Christianity.
  - Christian women are also being encouraged to read “Christian” sex manuals such as “Intimacy Ignited,” “Gift Wrapped by God,” and “Satisfy my Thirsty Soul.”
  - In the ABC News article that revealed all of this, it was also stated that Christian churches are now dispensing more sex advice than Playboy magazine! (28)
  - Many Roman Catholic children wondered about this Pope. Many of their Catholic schools had been shut down because of a lack of funding, but the Pope stayed in a seventeen million dollar townhouse in New York, owned by the Vatican! (29)
  - The Pope’s recent trip to America certainly has not done our country any good.
  - We have also learned that the Archbishop of Sydney, Australia, Cardinal George Pell, has requested that the Pope grant special indulgences, or forgiveness, in advance for sins that will be committed during World Youth Day in Sydney. People who intend to sin can get their forgiveness in advance by visiting St. Mary’s Cathedral for a special prayer if the Pope approves this plan. (30)
  - The bride shows up in a white wedding dress that has been intentionally soiled by grease, paint, dirt and sand. The trend is called trashing the dress. (31) The implication is that the bride has been defiled. Wedding pictures are also taken in back alleys near trash cans.
  - Signs of satanic defilement are everywhere.
  - There is now a new trend throughout the United States involving weddings.
  - There is now a great shortage of such armor. (32) We know that the schools in England have been taken over by Satan, and the power of the Moslem religion has also become an oppressive force.
  - In England, conditions are so bad in society that teachers, doctors, and nurses are wearing body armor to protect themselves from stabbing and shooting.
  - At Alsager High School near Crewe, Cheshire, children were told to participate in a “practical demonstration of Islam.” This included Moslem headgear and feet washing. The students were then required to get on their knees on prayer mats, and the teacher said, “We are now going to pray to Allah.” Those who refused were severely scolded and punished with detention for being disrespectful.   - How bad can it get as the powers of antichrist rise up in these last days?
  - British government officials, ignoring the views of parents and teachers, are planning to require that sex lessons (education) be given to children starting at age four! The toddlers are to learn about reproduction, body parts, and basic ideas about different relationships. (34) How long will it be until the Lord brings these things into judgment? The end is near!
  - Accepted Human Experimentation!
  - Never in all the history of the world have people been so willing to destroy themselves in the name of progress.
  - The evil masterminds of the Illuminati, antichrist conspiracy have worked for a long time to bring about the current conditions in our world.
  - In order to control people and enslave them, you must regulate not only the economy, education, and religion they live under, but also, on a more personal level, the food they eat, the supplements they take, and the medicines they use.
  - If evil minds are in control and if people in general are taught to trust them, it becomes a simple matter to create sickness, deficiency diseases, and residual toxic reactions in order to provide a multi-billion dollar industry to treat these manufactured conditions. You can also shorten lives, reduce populations, and keep people both hooked on and intimidated by prescription medicines.
  - On June 7th, 2008, the FDA finally admitted that mercury (amalgam) dental fillings “may be harmful to children, pregnant women, and anyone sensitive to mercury.” (35)
  - As an active, amateur chemist with forty-six years of experience, I can tell you that everyone is sensitive to mercury. Mercury especially attacks the nervous system and can induce autism. There is now an epidemic of autism and numerous diseases of the nervous system in our country.
  - It is now recommended by clinics that a baby receive so many injections that by the time the child is one year old, they may have had twenty-two inoculations. (36)
  - The preservative used in the vaccines has been thimerosal, which is a suspension of mercury.
  - At this present time, there are 4,900 families that have filed claims with the U.S. Court of Claims, because their children became autistic after receiving immunizations. (37)
  - Every day there are millions more being injected, and the United States has become a massive experimental death camp with human exploitation and experimentation that would rival anything going on in Germany during World War II.
  - People always seem to have trouble facing reality until reality hits them in the face!
  - Another problem that has risen is that radio frequency identification chips, used in hospitals, can cause vital equipment to fail.
  - The microchips can switch off ventilators, syringe pumps, and other devices used in life support, according to critical care physician Erik Jan van Lieshout of the University of Amersterdam. (38)
  - I have known for years that high-tech identification devices and systems are strictly from Satan, designed for use in an antichrist society.
  - The first of these systems used was the bar code, which is the basis for all subsequent systems.
  - All full-size bar codes are based on bars or lines, and the first, middle, and last bars always have the numerical equivalent of six. Thus, every bar code has an equally spaced 666 in it.
  - We also know that every full-sized bar code has thirteen digits. If you add together the first, third, fifth, seventh, ninth, eleventh, and thirteenth digits of the bar code, then add to that three times the sum of the second, fourth, sixth, eighth, tenth, and twelfth digits, the answer will always be divisible by ten. Ten is the very number of horns on the beast itself!
  - One more thing about high-tech equipment that is touted as progress is that it is primarily designed to be used against freedom and liberty, destroying rights and privacy.
  - On July 8th, 2008, Paul S. Ruwaldt of the Department of Homeland Security proposed plans for a new security device to be used on all airline passengers. It is an electronic bracelet that could track their movements, hold personal information, and be triggered like a Taser to stun them into immobility. (39)
  - Do we really live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, or is it the land of the deceived and the home of the depraved?
  - Desperate Cries From a Creation in Trouble!
  - In California, wildfires have burned continually ever since the California Supreme Court ruled that “gay marriage” is a right! Two days after that ruling, lighting began to strike; sometimes out of a blue cloudless sky. This has happened before, but it is very rare.
  - These are amazing times of unprecedented events. For the first time in human history, we may have a situation of no ice at the North Pole, and it may happen this year. (40)
  - One thousand, four hundred fires were burning at the same time, (41) and so far, an area the size of the entire state of Rhode Island has been destroyed. The losses are astronomical.
  - In California, there were reportedly 30,000 such strikes recently.
  - The Lord is speaking loudly, but is anyone listening?
  - The flood damage in the Midwest has been catastrophic, and the corn crop in this “breadbasket of the world” is devastated. This drives the prices of food to unthinkable levels. (42)
  - The earthquakes of significant magnitude continue to rattle the earth even though the news media doesn’t say much about it.
  - There have been over 360 earthquakes of magnitude 4 or greater in the past 30 days! One was a powerful 7.7 magnitude quake in the Sea of Okhotsk near Russia. (43)
  - On June 30th, 2008, the Israeli authorities issued a warning to all medical facilities and organizations that severe seismic activity is rapidly building in the area of southern Lebanon, and a severe earthquake is imminent in the Israeli State. (44)
  - Revelation 16:18-19 tells us of a great earthquake that will divide the “Great City” into three parts and then cause the cities of the nations to fall!
  - Pollution levels are five times the safety limits. (45)
  - In Red China where the Olympics are soon to start, smog has filled the region, and it is so thick that it sometimes blots out the sun.
  - Now a locust warning has been issued for that same region as large swarms of locusts are expected to arrive just about the same day that the Olympics are scheduled to begin with the lighting of the “great cauldron of Zeus.” (47)
  - In that same area, the Chinese Yellow Sea has turned blood red in what is called a “red tide”, caused by algae. (46)
  - These plagues are reminiscent of the ten plagues of Egypt. Without a doubt, the coming of the Lord is at hand!

  - And can studying NASA's website provide evidence for such a scenario?
  - A minister who promotes the Old Testament roots of Christianity suggests a rare string of lunar and solar eclipses said to fall on God's annual holy days seven years from now could herald what's come to be known as the "Second Coming" of Jesus.
  - Total lunar eclipses often make the moon appear red
  - "God wants us to look at the biblical calendar," says Mark Biltz, pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Wash.
  - "The reason we need to be watching is [because] He will signal His appearance. But we have to know what to be watching as well. So we need to be watching the biblical holidays."
  - In a video interview on the Prophecy in the News website, Biltz said he's been studying prophecies that focus on the sun and moon, even going back to the book of Genesis where it states the lights in the sky would be "be for signs, and for seasons."
  - "It means a signal, kind of like 'one if by land, two if by sea.' It's like God wants to signal us," he said.
  - "The Hebrew word implies ... not only is it a signal, but it's a signal for coming or His appearing."
  - Biltz adds the word "seasons" implies appointed times for God's feasts and festivals.
  - "When we hear the word feast, we think food. But the Hebrew word has nothing to do with food.
  - It has to do with a divine appointment, as if God has a day timer, and He says, 'OK, I'm gonna mark the day and the time when I'm going to signal My appearance.'"
  - In the Old Testament, the prophet Joel states, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come." (Joel 2:31)
  - In the New Testament, Jesus is quoted as saying, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light ... And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matthew 24:29-30)
  - Gary Stearman of Prophecy in the News noted, "When we think of the sun being darkened and the moon not giving her light, we usually think of some astronomical catastrophe – perhaps the sun sputtering and the moon being affected by all this.
  - But maybe it's time to rethink this a little bit and think of it as a natural cycle, the cycle of the eclipses."
  - Thus, Biltz began focusing on the precise times of both solar and lunar eclipses, sometimes called "blood moons" since the moon often takes on a bloody color.
  - He logged onto NASA's eclipse website which provides precision tracking of the celestial events.
  - He noted a rare phenomenon of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad.
  - He says during this century, tetrads occur at least six times, but what's interesting is that the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincide with God's holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn's Feast of Tabernacles (also called Succoth) occurs between 2014 and 2015 on today's Gregorian calendar.
  - "The fact that it doesn't happen again in this century I think is very significant," Biltz explains.
  - "So then I looked at last century, and, believe it or not, the last time that four blood red moons occurred together was in 1967 and 1968 tied to Jerusalem recaptured by Israel."
  - He then started to notice a pattern of the tetrads.
  - "What's significant to me is that even before 1967, the next time that you had four blood red moons again was right after Israel became a nation in '48, it happened again in 1949 and 1950 ... on Passover and Succoth.
  - You didn't have any astronomical tetrads in the 1800s, the 1700s, the 1600s. In the 1500s, there were six, but none of those fell on Passover and Succoth."
  - When checking the schedule for solar eclipses, Biltz found two – one on the first day of the Hebrew year and the next on the high holy day of Rosh Hashanah, the first day of the seventh Hebrew month. Both of these take place in the 2014-2015 year.
  - Biltz says, "You have the religious year beginning with the total solar eclipse, two weeks later a total lunar eclipse on Passover, and then the civil year beginning with the solar eclipse followed two weeks later by another total blood red moon on the Feast of Succoth all in 2015."
  - "If you think that this is a coincidence, I want you to know that it's time!" exclaimed Prophecy in the News host J.R. Church. "There are no more of these for the rest of the century."
  - The prospect of eclipses pinpointing the time of Jesus' return is getting mixed reaction in Christian circles.
  - After seeing Biltz's interview, Jim Bramlett, an author and former vice president for the Christian Broadcasting Network, expressed excitement.
    
    "I have just watched the program two times and do not think I have ever been more encouraged or excited about the soon return of the Lord!" Bramlett said.
  - But Hal Lindsey, a well-known biblical analyst and author of "The Late Great Planet Earth," says while he hasn't heard of Biltz's theory, he called it "pure speculation."
  - "In my 50-something years of studying prophecy, to me the greatest indication of the time of Christ's return is based around the general things of prophecies coming together in the same time frame."
  - He mentioned not only Israel's birth as a political state in 1948, but the increase in tensions with Muslims, the rise of Russia, China and the European Union, which he says is even "calling itself the revived Roman Empire."
    
    "I see the whole sweep and panorama spinning together in a precise scenario," he said.
  - During a second video interview, Biltz was presented with Bible quotes that many think suggest Jesus' return will be a complete surprise, or at least not specifically known.
  - The 25th chapter of Matthew features a parable where Jesus likens His kingdom to ten virgins all waiting for the arrival of their bridegroom.
    
    Jesus said in the story, "ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 25:13)
  - Biltz says people need to examine the quote in its proper context.
    
    "When He says you don't know the day or the hour, He's speaking to the foolish virgins, not the wise virgins," he explained.
  - Biltz was also asked about the famous statement in Matthew 24:36 when Jesus was discussing the signs of His "coming, and of the end of the world": "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matthew 24:36)
  - He responded by referring to the annual Feast of Trumpets holiday, saying Israelites never knew the precise moment it began, "because it was based on the sighting of the new moon."
  - "When He (Jesus) says you won't know the day or the hour, He's telling you it's the Feast of Trumpets because that was known as the feast where no one knew the day or the hour that it would begin," said Biltz. "So it's kind of like if I told you, 'I'm not going to tell you when I'm coming, but "Gobble, gobble, gobble,'" [pointing to] Turkey Day."
  - Church stressed despite the information suggesting 2015 could be a pivotal time, "We don't know that that will be the concluding year of the tribulation period ... so we're not setting a date and saying this is a warning. We're introducing the possibility of a watch."

  - In Part I, we told you about a series of solar and lunar eclipses coming in 2014 and 2015 that some believe may herald the second coming of the Messiah and Armageddon.
  - But are those eclipses unique? And why the year 2015?
  - In Part II of "Signs in the Heavens, What's Coming," we'll show you why we won't have to wait 7 years to find out. We could know within two months.
  - For Dr. Steven White, Director of Fresno State's Downing Planetarium, eclipses are something special.
    
    "Actually, it's very, very special because the only place in the entire solar system where you get a total solar eclipse is on the earth," said White.
  - But is it prophetic?
  - "I didn't know that people were trying to tie biblical prophecy with lunar eclipses and solar eclipses.
  - I'm not surprised that these lunar eclipses are falling on or near Jewish holidays because they use a lunar calendar," said White.
  - With 2 to 5 lunar eclipses each year and 230 this century, including 85 blood moons, even Tetrads of four total lunar eclipses in a row, White says they aren't rare.
  - "It's going to happen again in 2014, 2015, so I'm sure we'll have some interest here at the planetarium," said White.
  - But Tetrads that fall on the Jewish high holy days are rare.
  - Messianic Pastor Mark Biltz contends this is also significant for the Jewish people.
  - "I noticed the last time this happened was in 1967, after Jerusalem was recaptured by Israel and it happened again in 1949 and 1950, which is right after Israel became a nation in 1948," said Biltz with El Shaddai Ministeries.
  - More importantly, Pastor Biltz and his colleagues agree that it's not the eclipses but the ancient Jewish feast days, given by God in the Bible that mark the signs of the times. Four of which they say have already come to pass.
  - "When the Messiah came, he fuflfilled the four spring feasts...he fufilled Passover, he fufilled the feast of unleavened bread, he fufilled first fruits, he rose on first fruits it's called "Yom Hav Bikareem" and he also, through the Holy Spirit, fufilled "Shavout" or Pentecost," said Rabbi Harlon Picker with Beth Yachad Messianic Congregation.
  - And Rabbi Picker says the next one could be the biggest event of all.
  - "And it's believed by a lot of people that the feast of trumpets would be when the Messiah comes back to take his bride to be with him for the marriage supper of the lamb," said Picker.
  - "When it says we won't know the day or the hour, what it's actually referring to was the feast of trumpets. The feast of trumpets was the feast day where no one knew the day or the hour that it would begin because it was based on the sighting of the new moon," said Biltz.
  - The feast of trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah, is the day of the blowing of the ancient Jewish trumpet, the "Shofar."
  - According to I Corinthians 15:52, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
  - But is Rosh Hashanah on September of 2015 the date of that last trumpet signaling the return of Jesus Christ, as the Messianic Pastors suggest?
  - At Cornerstone Church in Downtown Fresno, the sounds and focus are more contemporary.
    
    "Our mission here is bring our city back to God. We want to see our city changed positively," said Pastor Jim Franklin of Fresno Cornerstone Church.
  - The expectation of something coming very soon is the same. But Pastor Franklin says we don't have to rely only on eclipses.
  - We can look at signs in the heavens. Scripture is very clear that it talks about those but there's also several other clear signs, 30 that point to the fact that these are the end days we're living in," said Franklin.
  - "I think without a doubt we are living in the last days.

  - The second coming of Jesus Christ has a few names; the rapture and Armageddon.
  - Those events have captivated Christians and non-Christians for over 2,000 years.
  - Now a group of Jewish and gentile believers are reaching back to the ancient past for answers to our future.
  - And what one pastor recently found is stirring debate and excitement all across the country, a timetable when it all could happen.
  - At the Beth David Messianic Synagogue in Fresno the old ways come to life.
  - "As I started investigating the scriptures more deeply, I came upon scriptures in Jeremiah that said we needed to get back to the ancient paths...splice...and of course Christianity comes right out of Judaism.
  - So those are the ancient paths," said Pastor Bruce Dowell.
  - To follow those ancient paths, about 125 members meet every Friday night at St. James Anglican Cathedral Community Hall in Fresno.
  - They celebrate "Shabbat," the Sabbath at the time and in the manner they say God originally commanded in the bible.
  - "What the messianic movement is, is Jews and gentiles together worshipping the Messiah of Israel in a Hebraic way with Davidic praise and worship as King David would have done with flags and banners," said Rabbi Harlon Picker, Messianic Rabbi.
  - These believers in Jesus Christ are part of a fast growing global movement who say it is the ancient ways, the historic, biblical ways that matter most.
  - Not only because they were given by God himself in the Torah, but because they foreshadow our future.
  - "It's very interesting, all of what we call the Moe din, or appointed times," said Picker.
  - "Leviticus 23, I believe is the most important or I should say the most prophetic chapter in the entire word of God.
  - It tells about the 7 festivals that Adonai has proclaimed to his people and of course the Shabbat as well. This is a prophetic timetable of what God is going to do in these end times," said Dowell.
  - Now using that prophetic timetable and modern science, another messianic pastor says he's found something that could be a sign of things to come soon.
  - February 20th, 2008, at Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake Washington saw something, a total lunar eclipse also called a "blood moon" for its reddish hue.
  - "I thought 'wow' that looks just like what the Lord was talking about in the last days," said Pastor Mark Biltz with El Shaddai Ministries.
  - In the book of Joel, Chapter 2, verse 31 it says, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come."
  - "So I did a comparison. I went to NASA's website to see if there would be any total solar or lunar eclipses in the next 10 years, said Biltz.
  - And what he found were four in a row.
  - "To my surprise, in 2014 NASA has what it calls a Tetrad-4, total lunar eclipses back to back," said Biltz.
  - And two significant solar eclipses as well.
  - In 2014, on March 20th to 21st, April 15th and October 8th.
  - But it wasn't the number of eclipses that caught his attention. It was the dates on the Jewish calendar on which they fell.
  - And in 2015 on April 4th, September 13, and September 28th.
  - "There was a total lunar eclipse on the 1st day of Passover and a total lunar eclipse on the 1st day of tabernacles," said Biltz.
  - "The feast of trumpets, there's a solar eclipse and there's also a total solar eclipse beginning the religious year," said Biltz.
  - In the Bible, Revelations 6 verse 12 "...and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood."
  - These kinds of celestial phenomena are prophetically significant to messianic believers, Biltz says.
  - "I see with what's going on in the world today with all the turmoil; with earthquakes and famines, hurricanes and floods, I think it's a wake up call to both Jews and Christians that we need to wake up and start looking for the Messiah," said Biltz.
  - And according to Luke chapter 21 verse 25, "...and there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring."
  - But we won't have to wait until 2015 to find out if what Pastor Biltz and his messianic colleagues believe is true. We could all know, they say, in as little as two months.

  - As part of the preparations, hundreds of teenagers are expected to sign the “Temple Treaty” and to proclaim, “We commit to doing everything in our power to abide by this commandment and to devote at least half an hour a week toward this effort.”
  - In the youth conference conducted by the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem, scheduled for Thursday, participants will discuss possible plans of action to further the building of the Temple.
  - Under the title, “Building the Temple, it’s in Our Hands,” lessons will be given by rabbis identified with the Temple and for the first time ever, a treaty pertaining to the necessity of building the Temple will be revealed.

  - In a conversation with Ynet, Temple Institute Director Rabbi Yehuda Glick vowed that this is the first event in a series that will institutionalize and widen youth activities.

  - Twenty percent of the participants said that nothing will endanger the strong and flourishing city of Jerusalem.
  - This conjoined Ynet-Gesher survey conducted by the Mutagim Institute included 500 interviewees representing all parts of the Jewish, adult, Hebrew-speaking population in Israel.
  - Participants of the survey were asked the following question: “On Tisha B'Av, we mourn the destruction of the city of Jerusalem. What in your opinion is the greatest danger for another destruction of the city?"
  - Forty-two percent chose the division of Jerusalem into a capital of two nations as the most dangerous situation.
  - Seventeen percent believe that designating the city solely for religious and ultra-Orthodox populations is more worrisome and four percent believe that the dirt in the streets is more threatening than anything and serves as the greatest danger for additional destruction.

  - The rest of those asked refused to reply. Members of the various Jewish denominations agreed that the split of Jerusalem is the most threatening situation for the retention of its existence.
  - Seventy-two percent of the haredi population, 63% of the religious, 39% of those who consider themselves traditional and 31% of secular Jews agreed on this issue.
  - Amongst the secular participants, however, the issue of splitting Jerusalem received first place in a narrow victory since 29% believe that the transformation of Jerusalem into a completely haredi and religious city is more dangerous.
  - Amongst the ultra-Orthodox, not one participant replied to this issue and those traditionally Jewish are the most optimistic.
  - Twenty-seven percent of the latter believe that nothing can threaten the strong and fruitful city.
  - Gesher Director Shoshi Becker referred to the data, saying that “precisely because the threat regarding Jerusalem’s division is so central, we need to contend internally with the phenomenon of Jerusalem turning into a ‘city with a dome.’

  - Was the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem more than a place of worship?
  - Was it, indeed, a roadmap to future events – a kind of prophetic landmark whose significance is only now revealed through the development of satellite imagery?
  - That is the contention of an explosive new book, "Temple at the Center of Time: Newton's Bible Codex Deciphered and the Year 2012," by David Flynn.
  - The book asserts it has "deciphered Isaac Newton’s greatest paradox: None other than 'the unified field theory' of Bible prophecy."
  - Sir Isaac Newton was not only a great thinker in physics, the book explains, but had extensive knowledge of the Scriptures with a special interest in prophecy.
  - Newton believed there was a hidden code, a type of time-encrypted language. He believed the key to deciphering this code was the Temple of Solomon.
  - He wrote extensively on the length measurements of the Temple and suggested it intersected time and dimension, serving as a prophetic and supernatural structure.
  - According to Flynn, although Newton never cracked this code, he was on the right track and was limited only by the lack of sophisticated satellite technology.
  - "The description of Jerusalem as a terrestrial center point, situated in the center of the world, is found in Philo's Legatio and Gaium," Flynn notes.
  - "The world is like a human eyeball. The white of the eye is the ocean surrounding the world, the iris is this continent, the pupil is Jerusalem, and the image in the pupil is the Holy Temple."
  - To make his case, David starts by illustrating what the reader soon learns is the first of numerous extraordinary time-distance anomalies.
  - The prisca sapentia framework of Newton suggests that the distance between the temple of Jerusalem and the capital city of any nation historically effecting the chronicles of Jerusalem would be supernaturally connected.
  - This relationship would be significant with respect to units of time, expressing meaning in line with God's divine plan as recorded in the word of his prophets.

  - Newton and Flynn point out how Ezekiel recorded the dimensions of the future temple in chapter 40 of his book, starting with the lengths of the temple gates, chambers, courts, walls and its exterior.
  - After this, calibrations of weights and measure for the temple functions were given in detail.
  - Finally, the distance of land outward from the temple was measured.
    
    And he brought me thither, and, behold, [there was] a man, whose appearance [was] like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. (Ezekiel 40:3)
  - The measure of distance away from Jerusalem in this text implies a spiritual significance, says Flynn.
  - A relationship between Jerusalem and the nations existed from the foundation of the temple, but was not completely perceived – and could not be fully known until the conventions of modern science.
  - For instance, if a measurement is made from the point of the temple of Jerusalem's foundation stone to the palace of Balthazar – the political center of Babylon and the exact location where the writing on the wall occurred – the distance should relate to the period in which Babylon most influenced Jerusalem.
  - Such a relationship exists and is the important distance of 539.86 statute miles.
  - What makes this measurement unusual is that Babylon, which played such a significant role in Hebrew antiquity, was measured and numbered in its relationship to Jewish history in Daniel chapter five during the famous handwriting on the wall.
  - When the prophet interpreted the manifestation, he proclaimed in verses 25-28:
    
    And this is the writing that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE, God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it; TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting; PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
  - That very night King Belshazzar was slain, and Darius the Mede became king.
  - Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians on the 16th day of Tishri of the Jewish calendar, which correlates to Oct. 12, 539 B.C.
  - Curiously, the number 539 is also the distance in statute miles between the temple of Jerusalem's foundation stone to the palace of Balthazar, as confirmed by modern satellite measurement.
  - Does this give insight to the handwriting on the wall or the dating and measuring of Babylon's affairs in the history of Israel?
  - Does this imply that Babylon's influence over Israel was supernaturally predated and measured, or foreknown?
  - Or was this just a fascinating coincidence? As the first of such discoveries made by Flynn, he wondered the same thing.
  - So Flynn studied epic moments having to do with the sovereignty of Israel and the nations that played key roles in Hebrew and Jewish history.
  - Over and over he found fascinating date-measurement anomalies connecting pivotal moments in time to the temple in Jerusalem. He went through annals, considering when acts by world leaders had influenced the development of the Jewish state. He continued to find more.
  - A case in point was the relationship between Napoleon Bonaparte and the Jews.
  - Napoleon had previously encountered the prophecies of the Old Testament in the Jewish community of Malta, which he liberated under French law in 1798.
  - For hundreds of years, the Knights Hospitalier of Saint John of Jerusalem had oppressed the Jews by enslaving them and preventing open worship.
  - One of Napoleon's first acts after banishing the Knights was to allow the Jews to build a synagogue, and the community of Jews on Malta welcomed Napoleon as a conqueror equal to Cyrus the Great.
  - They believed their liberation by him was the fulfillment of the "king of the North" prophecy in Daniel 11.
  - This was followed on the first day of Passover, April 20, 1799, when Napoleon issued his proclamation of a Jewish state of Palestine.
  - On May 22, 1799, the Paris newspaper, Moniteur Universel, announced: "Bonaparte has published a proclamation in which he invites all the Jews of Asia and Africa to gather under his flag in order to re-establish the ancient Jerusalem. He has already given arms to a great number, and their battalions threaten Aleppo."
  - Although the proclamation did not come to fruition, it increased a drive for Jews worldwide to pursue a sovereign state in Israel.
  - Napoleon's ideas were also embraced by many who viewed them as a fulfillment of ancient prophecy, even some belonging to the Church of England.
  - This is important because Paris was named after the Paris, a Celtic people who settled on this central island in the 3rd century B.C.
  - The city later spread outward from this point along the banks of the Seine River.
  - This island is considered the birthplace of Paris and was the site of the city's earliest settlements.
  - It was home to the French Kings from A.D. 400 to A.D. 1300. The royal palace and parliament were located on the western side of the island.
  - Extending a measuring line from this historical center of Paris to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem shows the distance in nautical miles, 1,799.
  - The intriguing connection to Flynn's book is clear: Napoleon made a proclamation of historical importance to the Jewish nation in the year 1799, and perhaps not coincidently the distance from Paris to the Temple Mount in nautical miles corresponds perfectly at 1,799.
  - As findings like these stack up and the mathematical improbability of Flynn's disclosure increases, one of the most extraordinary parts of the book is unveiled when we learn how the year 1948 is marked by time-distance relations to the Temple location and several other mind-boggling dates and places, both past and future, which we will not divulge here.
  - However, a peek into this section of the book finds discussion of how Britain was the nation that was "friendly to the Jews" and enabled them to return to Israel over 200 after Newton's death.
  - The British defeated the Ottoman Turks and became administrators of the land of ancient Israel in 1917. Through mandate after World War I and World War II until 1948, London was the heart of the governing intellect over the region.
  - London's original location at its founding is an important point in establishing the exact value of time and distance between it and Jerusalem's Temple.
  - The Romans established Londinium in about A.D. 47.
  - It was a civilian settlement built where the Thames became narrow enough for a bridge to be built across it but was still deep enough to admit large ocean vessels.
  - In the 16th century, William Camden believed that the "London Stone" was a Roman milestone from which all distances were measured in the province.
  - In the 17th century, Christopher Wren was able to observe the foundations of the London Stone underneath Cannon Street during the rebuilding of London after the Great Fire.
  - With this information, it is possible to extend a measuring line from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the exact center of ancient London, and by fixing a point on the site of the temple mount, a measuring line extended over Jerusalem to the center of London produces 1,948.40 nautical miles.
  - Therefore, incredibly, recorded in the earth between the Temple Mount of Jerusalem and the historic center of London is what Flynn sees as the fulfillment of Newton's own prediction: Israel became a nation again May 14th, 1948, corresponding perfectly to a distance between the temple and London of 1948 nautical miles.
  - As the reader moves through Temple at the Center of Time, these time-length correlations accumulate quickly, including numerous ancient dates such as 1441 B.C. when the Exodus from Egypt occurred. It turns out is 1,441,000 feet from the Jerusalem Temple to the Great Pyramid in Giza.
  - Flynn finds dozens of other key dates in the past through similar satellite mapping measurements including some related to the United States, Russia and Rome.
  - Before it is even officially released, Flynn's book is causing a sensation in some circles where it is being compared to "The Bible Code."
