In honor of your, “Aahhh”, responses to interesting facts from guests on your podcasts, let me share an interesting fact that I came across today. In the above article, you wrote about observations regarding the number 23. Well, to have a quorum in the Sanhedrin, there must be 23 members present. I’m not sure if it even is a dot to connect, but the number sure jumped out at me when I saw it.

The nine silver spheres hover above a row of shops, including a Coral bookies,
on the internet giant’s new Street View service. -
Sun reader Faye Sharpe, 18, discovered them while viewing her neighbourhood of
Wolverley Street in Bethnal Green, East London. -
Faye said: “I was checking out the road to see if I could spot my
mates. I thought it looked very strange and zoomed in. -
“I thought it was some planes but they look pretty close together
for that. Maybe they are UFOs.” -

Fascinated ... expert Nick Pope
-
Yesterday baffled ufologist Nick Pope said he was “very excited”
by the image, which he labelled “truly fascinating”. -
He added: “It appears to show nine objects flying in near perfect
formation. About the only thing I know that can do this is the Red Arrows —
and it’s not them.” -
Mr Pope, who used to investigate sightings for the Ministry of Defence, said: “I’ve
run through the list of possibilities that normally explain these things,
but I can’t find an answer.” -
Yesterday The Sun visited the street to talk to locals about the mysterious
find. Holly Riding, 19, said: “It’s definitely weird.” -
Karishma Daswani, 22, added: “The fact that they are flying in
formation is very strange.” -
Oriele Calvert, 44, said: “This is definitely the strangest thing I’ve
ever seen in Bethnal Green.”

Walking with Boudicca: We follow an historic journey - via an Essex underpass and a McDonald's

-
Early on a Norwich autumn morning, and I was standing naked in a hotel room.
On the bed lay my new walking clothes: walking trousers, expensive pants at the cutting edge of underwear technology, assorted base layers, fleeces and waterproofs.
-
All items of clothing I'd never owned before yet would spend the next goodness knows how many weeks wearing nothing but.
-
I was about to embark on the first in a sequence of journeys tracing routes taken by some of the most famous and not-so-famous figures in the history of these islands.
-
I was going to recreate some of these great journeys that have shaped our island story. On foot.
-
On this particular walk I would be following in the footsteps of Boudicca who, in AD60, led a rebellion against the Roman overlords, marching on Colchester, London and what is now St Albans, laying waste to each in turn.
-
Which is how I found myself in a Travelodge in Norwich, contemplating my pants.
-
I set off with a determined stride and within an hour-and-a-half was strolling into the village of Caistor St Edmund, where I would take up the trail of my first historic fellow-traveller.
-
We know very little about Boudicca. We don't even know whether her name really was Boudicca, or where she lived.
-
But we do know that she came as close as anyone to driving the Romans out of Britain, fired by vengeance, injustice and the cruellest sense of grievance induced in any mother from any period in history.
-
'She was very tall in build,' wrote the Roman historian Cassius Dio, 'most terrifying in her demeanour, the glint in her eye most fierce. A great mound of red hair fell to her waist, around her neck was a large golden torc and she wore a tunic of many colours upon which a cloak was fastened with a brooch.'
-
She was, he added, 'possessed of a greater intelligence than is usually found in women'.
-
Boudicca was the wife of Prasutagus, king of the Iceni, a wealthy tribe whose lands covered most of what is now Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire at the time of the Roman conquest.
-
Archaeological finds of fine clothing and jewellery suggest they were big on ostentatious displays of opulence, just as in centuries from now East Anglian archaeologists might turn up hoop earrings, sovereign rings and thick gold chains.
-
Prasutagus was a client king, permitted to retain his status as long as he didn't resist Roman rule.
-
In his will he left half his estate to his two daughters and the other half to the Emperor Nero. When this news reached Catus Decianus, the Roman procurator of Britain, he was furious.
-
Around AD60 he died suddenly and the trouble began.
-
As far as Catus was concerned, the Iceni lands were not Prasutagus's to bequeath to anyone other than the Roman Empire.
-
He overreacted to a quite unbelievable degree, sending soldiers into the Iceni lands to pillage the property of their nobles.
-
For the late king's family, things were to get much, much worse. Catus had Boudicca, queen of the Iceni, flogged while her daughters were raped in front of her by Roman soldiers.
-
It was an inexplicable act: Boudicca, by virtue of her marriage to a client king, would have been officially a Roman citizen, and any corporal punishment of a woman was almost unthinkable in the Roman Empire.
-
Rape was an offence punishable by execution.
-
The burning sense of injustice felt by Boudicca and her people was so intense you can almost sense it today - this was one of the most despicable episodes in the history of these islands.
-
The resentment that had festered against Roman rule for the best part of two decades exploded into angry rebellion.
-

-
Historic: Colchester in Essex as it looks today - it was once the Roman capital and called Camulodunum
-
The Iceni gathered into a huge, seething mass of people to rise up against the oppressor that had taken away their freedom and violated their queen.
-
Under Boudicca's leadership, the Iceni and their neighbours would set off for the Roman capital at Camulodunum, modern Colchester, for an orgy of destruction and murder.
-
We don't know from where Boudicca's army set out, so I had chosen the village of Caistor St Edmund, close to the main route to Camulodunum.
-
Most of the road along which Boudicca would have passed is now the A12, but on the map there was a stretch marked 'Roman road' running parallel to the main thoroughfare for a good distance just south of Ipswich.
-
Once I was through the suburbs I passed beneath the A12 through a foot tunnel and emerged on the old road.
-
This had once been the main road south from Ipswich, but nothing came up here any more. Some plastic bags whipped around in circles in the wind. It was quiet; I was all alone.
-
For the first time, I felt like I was peeking through the curtains of time. This was the very same route as Boudicca and her army would have taken.
-
The trundling carts passed along here. The Iceni, grimly determined and driven by vengeance, would have walked with Boudicca at their head, a vast procession of men, women, children and horses spread wide across the road and beyond into the fields, knowing that with every step, they were closer to justice, or at least their version of it.
-
Walking in their footsteps, I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, the feeling that every step was into the unknown.
-
That evening, as I soaked in a hot bath at a Colchester hostelry, I reflected on what Boudicca and her cohorts did to the Roman capital when they reached it.
-
Camulodunum had all the trappings of a major Roman town - a senate building, shops, a theatre and a temple dedicated to the late Emperor Claudius, conqueror of Britain.
-
For a capital, Camulodunum was curiously lax in its defences.
-
It was home to hundreds of army veterans who, having completed their 25 years of military service, were given plots of land.
-
Most of the Roman military forces in Britain were engaged in a concerted attempt to wipe out the druids on Anglesey. Hence Camulodunum had at best a skeleton defence force.
-
When news of Boudicca's travelling hordes reached the town, the locals pressed Catus Decianus, the man responsible for triggering the uprising, to provide military assistance.
-
He mustered barely 200 troops then hitched up his toga and hotfooted it to Gaul before Boudicca could get hold of him.
-
Boudicca's forces approached Colchester meeting no opposition.
-
Nevertheless, they fell upon the place in a storm of aggression and destruction. Property was looted and burned to the ground.
-
The soldiers would have provided only token resistance to the thousands of screaming, blue-painted warriors descending on the town. Nothing and no one would have been spared.
-
Those who remained barricaded themselves inside the Temple of Claudius, until the Britons scaled the walls and began to dismantle the roof, dropping on to the survivors and killing them where they stood.
-
It's likely that Boudicca's forces would have hung around Camulodunum for a couple of days, celebrating, praying and dividing up the loot, before heading south to the port of Londinium.
-
Londinium was a lesser focus of Roman power, but economically important to the occupying people.
-
The Roman road from Colchester to Chelmsford and thence to the outskirts of London is again the A12, so I struck out on a parallel path and was delighted to find, at one stage, that I was crossing Boadicea Way.
-
I passed through Chelmsford, eventually arriving on the outskirts of Brentwood. After days in the countryside, I'd hit suburbia.
-
Suddenly I had my breath taken away. I crested a hill while looking at the map, and when I looked up there, before me, was the London skyline with its familiar NatWest Tower, Gherkin and St Paul's Cathedral. Boudicca would have come over this hill - albeit to witness a very different skyline.
-
Londinium was a fairly new settlement of 30,000 inhabitants.
-
Goods and slaves were exported here, while imports were unloaded in what would have been a lively, noisy place.
-
It would have been distinctly muted that day, though, as Suetonius Paulinus, the commander of the Roman forces, had arrived with his cavalry.
-
He had two options. The first: to assemble as many soldiers as he could to defend the town. However, he'd heard about the devastation of Camulodunum and knew that the Britons would be arriving in even greater numbers.
-
The alternative was to evacuate Londinium, leave it to the mercy of the Iceni and their allies, and muster a large Roman force to meet them at full strength somewhere down the road. He chose the latter option.
-
Londinium was doomed. I followed the route of the old Roman road through Romford and Ilford and on beyond Stratford. When Boudicca's forces arrived, Londinium would have been almost deserted.
-
Cassius Dio describes what the rebels did to the locals who were left.
-
The city's most distinguished women were hung up naked, their breasts cut off and sewn into their mouths, before being impaled on stakes.
-
Many people were burnt alive. Boudicca's rebellion had no political cause at its heart: this was sheer, visceral vengeance.
-
When the Thames was running red with blood, the rebels torched London.
-
Once Londinium had been ransacked, the rebels made for the road to Verulamium, a major seat of the wealthy Catuvellauni tribe, now St Albans.
-
The Romans had routed Watling Street, a major thoroughfare, through Verulamium. It was an obvious target.
-
The road is the A5, starting at the bottom of London's Edgware Road, and it's fairly certain that Boudicca would have joined it where it met the road from Camulodunum.
It's a spot now occupied by Marble Arch, where I found myself early one blustery morning.
-
It was about 20 miles to St Albans, a journey that would have taken Boudicca and her cumbersome caravan two days, if not more. I was aiming to do it in one.
-
The coffee shops and sandwich bars soon gave way to a procession of Turkish and Arabic emporia. I passed within a hefty six of Lord's cricket ground and then, at Maida Vale, the spot where the headmaster Philip Lawrence was killed in 1995.
-
On through Cricklewood and its synagogues, Wembley Stadium to my left, then Edgware and the general hospital where I was born.
-
The next morning I headed to Verulamium Park, the site of the old town sacked by Boudicca. It was a peaceful morning, the sun glinting off the damp grass.
-
By six o'clock that evening, I was in St Albans.
-
The locals had legged it, taking everything of value with them. The wind direction made it harder to burn down the town.
The destruction was still extensive, but there was a sense that the fun was going out of all this looting and burning.
-
By the time Boudicca arrived, Verulamium was deserted.
-
The lack of a 'real' battle was leaving some sections of the mob bored and unfulfilled.
-
The sacking of Verulamium would prove to be the Boudiccan revolt's last success.
-
I made my way to the edge of town. My step was slowing tangibly, too, as my first historical journey was coming to an end. This is where I would leave Boudicca; where the historical trail goes cold.
-
The inevitable big battle between Boudicca's mob and the Roman army did take place, but nobody can say for sure where it was.
-
Mancetter, near Atherstone in Warwickshire, seems the most likely location.
-
Either way, the Britons were defeated and Boudicca was never heard of again.
-
Many surmise that she chose to take her own life by drinking poison rather than suffer the ignominy of being taken to Rome and paraded through the streets. Nothing is known of what became of her daughters.
-
There was a groundless rumour in Victorian times that Boudicca is buried beneath Platform 8 at King's Cross Station in London, while in 2006 Birmingham archaeologists claimed they'd found her grave in King's Norton, next to McDonald's.
-
I stood for a while, looking along Watling Street, picturing a noble, charismatic queen standing proud on her chariot at the head of her warriors, their carts rumbling along the track, heading towards her destiny.
-
Then I turned around, retraced my steps and began to walk forward almost a thousand years. I had an appointment with a man whose epic journey changed Britain's history for ever.
-
I was about to follow in the footsteps of Harold, the man who could have been, and so nearly was, one of Britain's greatest ever kings.

-
There are three cities (city-states) across this planet that share striking similarities and play a crucial role in the global governmental system we have long been living under.
-
The three city-states (along with the role they serve) is as follows:
City of London (finance)
Washington DC (military)
Vatican City (religion) -
The aforementioned city-states listed above are sovereign, corporate entities not connected to the nations they appear to be part of.
-
In other words, the City of London (that is the square mile within Greater London) is not technically part of Greater London or England, just as Vatican City is not part of Rome or Italy.
-
Likewise, Washington DC is not part of the United States that it controls.
-
These sovereign, corporate entities have their own laws and their own identities.
-
They also have their own flags. Seen below is the flag of Washington DC. Note the three stars, representing the trinity of these three city-states, also known as the Empire of the City.
-
(There is also high esoteric significance to the number 3.)
-

-
Washington DC was established as a city-state in 1871 with the passage of the Act of 1871, which officially established the United States as a corporation under the rule of Washington, which itself is subservient to the City of London.
-
Corporations are run by presidents, which is why we call the person perceived to hold the highest seat of power in the land "the president."
-
The fact is the president is nothing more than a figurehead for the central bankers and transnational corporations (both of which themselves are controlled by High Ecclesiastic Freemasonry) that really control this country and ultimately call the shots.
-
Washington DC operates under a system of Roman Law and outside of the limitations established by the US Constitution.
-
Therefore, it should not be a surprise that the name Capitol Hill derives from Capitoline Hill, which was the seat of government for the Roman Empire.
-
If you look at the wall behind the podium in the House of Representatives, you will notice that on either side of the US flag is the depiction of bundles of sticks tied together with an axe. These are called fasci, hence the root word of fascism.
-
This was the symbol of fascism in the Roman Empire, as it was under the Nazis and still is today.
-
It is not a coincidence that these symbols are featured on the floor of Congress.
-

-
Any American who thinks they are living in a free country does not have a clue.
-
The fact is that the United States corporation is controlled from the City of London, by the Crown, which is not the British Monarchy as many believe,
-
but rather the private corporation that is the inner 'City of London' itself, also commonly known as "The City" or "The Square Mile."
-
This square mile that makes up the center of Greater London has its own mayor, laws, courts, flag, police force and newspaper. It is the heart of the global financial system.
-

-
Vatican City also has its own mayor (called the Governatorate), laws, flag, postal service, newspaper, radio and television stations, and even its own prison.
-
Another thing these three city-states have in common are their own obelisks.
-
Obelisks are tall, four-sided shafts of stone which taper at the top in a pyramidal fashion. The obelisk is phallic in its appearance and represents the male penis.
-
It is symbolic of the Egyptian sun god, Ra, and is an ancient symbol of male energy and generation (G) in Freemasonry.
-

-
Vatican obelisk: Located in St. Peter's Square, the Vatican obelisk was moved from Egypt to its current location in 1586.
-
The circle at the base on the obelisk represents the female vagina and thus male/female duality.
-
Also notice the lines extending from the circle, forming a Union Jack as seen on the British flag.
-

-
London obelisk (aka Cleopatra's Needle): Located on the banks of the River Thames, this obelisk was transported to London and erected in 1878 under the reign of Queen Victoria.
-
The obelisk originally stood in the Egyptian city of On, or Heliopolis (the City of the Sun).
-
The Knights Templars' land extended to this area of the Thames, where the Templars had their own docks.
-
Either side of the obelisk is surrounded by a sphinx, also symbolism dating back to the ancient world.
-

-
Washington Obelisk (aka Washington Monument): Standing at 555 feet, the Washington Monument is the tallest obelisk in the world and also the tallest standing structure in Washington DC.
-
The monument's cornerstone, a 12-ton slab of marble, was donated by the Grand Lodge of Freemasons.
-
Like the Vatican obelisk, the Washington monument too is surrounded by a circle denoting the female.
-
The reflecting pool in front of the monument signifies the ancient Masonic/Kabbalistic dictum, as above/so below.
-
We must first go back to the Knights Templar and their initial 200-year reign of power.
-
So how are these three cities ultimately connected?
-
The Knights Templar were first called "the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and the Temple of Solomon."
-
This is a blatantly misleading title, considering the immense wealth and power of the Templars, who operated 9,000 manors across Europe and owned all the mills and markets.
-
It was the Templars that issued the first paper money for public use in Europe, establishing the fiat banking system we know today.
-
In England, the Templars established their headquarters at a London temple, which still exists today and is called Temple Bar.
-
This is located in the City of London, between Fleet Street and Victoria Embankment.
-
The aforementioned "Crown," to be exact, is the Knights Templar church, also known as the Crown Temple. It is the Crown Temple that controls the legal/court system of the US, Canada and many other countries.
-
All bar associations are directly linked to the International Bar Association and the Inns of Court at Crown Temple in the City of London.
-
Anytime you hear somebody refer to the Bar Association, they are talking about a British/Masonic system that has nothing to do with a country's sovereignty or the constitutional rights of its people.
-
This is why, when you go to court in the US, you see the US flag with a gold fringe, denoting international rule.
-
The government of the United States, Canada and Britain are all subsidiaries of the crown, as is the Federal Reserve in the US.
-
The ruling Monarch in England is also subordinate to the Crown.
-
The global financial and legal system is controlled from the City of London by the Crown. The square mile making up the center of Greater London is the global seat of power, at least at the visible level.
-

-
The Temple Bar consists of what are called Inns of Court.
-
There are four Inns of Court as follows: Inner Temple, Middle Temple, Lincoln's Inn and Gray's Inn.
-
It is believed that the Inner Temple controls the legal system of Canada and Britain while the Middle Temple controls the legal system of the United States, though all Inns are themselves controlled by the same few at the top.
-

-
Most Americans (and people in general) believe the US declared independence from Britain when this is simply not the case.
-
Of the signatories to the Declaration of Independence, at least five of them were Temple Bar attorneys, all of whom had sworn allegiance to the Crown.
-
Alexander Hamilton was one of the Middle Crown agents during the formation of the US and was assigned to set up the American banking system on orders from the Crown, to control the United States.
-
In fact a 'State' is a legal entity of the Crown. This is why we also have the STATE of Israel.
-
Furthermore, of the members of the Constitutional Convention that signed the completed US Constitution, seven were Middle Inn Templars who had also pledged allegiance to the Crown.
-
Therefore, it is no coincidence that today copies of both the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution hang on the wall in the library of of the Middle Temple in London.
-
To put it all in context, it is the Crown that controls the global financial system and runs the governments of all Commonwealth countries, and many non-Commonwealth 'Western' nations as well.
-
The Crown traces back to the Vatican, which is headed by the Pope, who is the figurehead for the real powers that be behind the curtain, some of which are known but many of which are completely unknown to the general public.

This forced the RAF and
the MoD to think again, and the Department
has been investigating UFO sightings
pretty much continuously since then. To
date, there have been over 10,000
sightings reported to the MoD. -
HORN:
What is the MoD's policy on UFOs? - 112 more annotations...
-
-
POPE:
The policy is to investigate UFO sightings
to see whether there's evidence of
anything of any defence significance, i.e. evidence
of any threat to the defence of the UK, or
information that may be of use to us,
scientifically or militarily. -
Having
a UFO project in no way implies a
corporate belief in extraterrestrial
visitation. It simply reflects the
fact that we keep a watchful eye on our
airspace and want to know about anything
operating in the United Kingdom's Air
Defence Region. -
Although the British
effort was on a much smaller scale, the
terms of reference and methodology were
virtually identical to that of the United
States Air Force study, Project Blue Book. -
HORN:
MoD also acknowledged that a government
UFO unit, known as S4F (Air) and DI55,
existed. Tells us about this unit and what
they did (or do). -
POPE:
S4(Air) no longer exists. It was a
division that had responsibility for UFO
investigations some years ago. -
Like any
bureaucracy, the MoD undergoes frequent
reorganisations where divisions are
opened, closed, merged, split or
restructured. It's a nightmare! So, over
the years, all sorts of different areas
have had responsibility for UFOs, leading
some researchers to wrongly conclude there
are many different areas of the MoD all
working on the subject. -
In fact, at any
one time, there'll be a division that has
the lead for policy and
investigations (i.e. where I worked)
and a number of other areas on whose
specialist skills and expertise the lead
division can call. -
DI55 is part of the
Defence Intelligence Staff. They were one
of the specialist branches that I
could bring in to assist me with certain
aspects of my UFO investigations. -
Up until
a few years ago I couldn't talk about this
aspect of my work at all, or even
acknowledge the existence of DI55. -
Recently, however, details have
emerged under FOI, including some
documents relating to my own dealings
with them. But as I'm sure you'll
understand, this is still an area of my
work that I can't discuss in any great
detail. -
HORN:
How were you recruited into the UFO
Project? -
POPE:
I joined the Ministry of Defence in 1985. At
the time, the policy was to move people
every 2 or 3 years - either on level
transfer or promotion - so that everybody
gained experience in a wide range of
different jobs: policy, operations,
personnel, finance, etc. -
I'd done 2
or 3 different jobs and prior to taking up
my post on the UFO project I was
working in a division called
Secretariat(Air Staff), where I'd been seconded
into the Air Force Operations Room in
the Joint Operations Centre. -
I worked
there in the run-up to the first Gulf War,
during the war itself, and in the
aftermath of the conflict. -
It was
while working there that I was approached
and asked whether, after I was released
from duties in the Joint Operations Centre,
I would like to run the UFO project, which
was embedded in another part of
Secretariat(Air Staff). I accepted
the invitation. So, in a sense, I
was headhunted. -
HORN:
Did your views change from the time you
started working with MoD until you left
the department? -
POPE:
I knew little about the subject before I
joined and I certainly had no belief in
extraterrestrials. -
So while I was open-minded
in all my investigations, my start
point was broadly sceptical. -
As I began to
read into the archive of previous files,
and as I began to undertake my own
official research and investigation, my
views began to change and I became more
open to the possibility that some UFOs had
more exotic explanations. -
Add Sticky NoteWhat impressed
me most were cases where UFOs were seen by
trained observers such as police officers,
where they were tracked on radar, where
they were seen by pilots, and where there
was evidence to suggest that UFOs were
performing speeds and manoeuvres way ahead
of the capabilities of even our most
advanced aircraft.- The evidence convinced Pope of the reality of UFOs - on 2008-10-08
-
Add Sticky NoteMy position now is that
while I can't say what these UFOs are, the
phenomenon raises important defence,
national security and flight safety
issues.- National security issues - on 2008-10-08
-
I've seen no proof that these
things are extraterrestrial, but I don't
rule out this possibility. -
HORN:
What were your procedures / protocols for
investigating UFO sightings? -
POPE: We
used to receive 200 - 300 reports each
year and the methodology of an
investigation is fairly standard. -
Firstly,
you interview the witness to obtain as
much information as possible about the
sighting: date, time and location of the
sighting, description of the object, its
speed, its height, etc. -
Then you
attempt to correlate the sighting with
known aerial activity such as civil
flights, military exercises or weather
balloon launches. We could check with
the Royal Greenwich Observatory to see if astronomical
phenomena such as meteors or fireballs
might explain what was seen. -
We could
check to see whether any UFOs seen
visually had been tracked on radar. If
we had a photograph or video, we could get
various MoD specialists to enhance and
analyse the imagery. -
We could also
liaise with staff at the Ballistic Missile
Early Warning System at RAF Fylingdales,
where they have space-tracking radar. -
Finally,
on various scientific and technical
issues, we could liaise with the Defence
Intelligence Staff, although as I've
said previously, this is an area of my
work that I can't discuss in any detail. -
HORN:
What did you conclude about the majority
of your investigations? -
POPE:
I concluded that sightings could be
categorised as follows. Around 80% could
be explained as misidentifications of
something mundane, such as aircraft lights,
weather balloons, satellites, meteors,
etc. -
In approximately 15% of cases
there was insufficient information to make
a firm assessment. -
That left around
5% of sightings that seemed to defy any
conventional explanation. -
But while we
could say with reasonable certainty what
these 5% weren't, we couldn't say
what they were. -
They were by
definition unknown, unexplained, or
whatever word you care to use. -
HORN:
The Flying Saucer Working Party was set up
in October 1950 by Ministry of Defence
Chief Scientific Adviser Sir Henry Tizard.
Was this a reaction to the 1947 Roswell
incident or something else? -
POPE:
It wasn't a reaction to the Roswell
incident, but to increasing numbers
of UFO sightings in the UK and elsewhere,
and to the associated media coverage. -
As a
scientist, Tizard knew that any assessment
of UFOs not based on investigation was
assumption and guesswork, and therefore
meaningless. -
He didn't have any firm view
on the phenomenon but he knew UFOs were
being reported in considerable numbers and
he wanted to know what they were. -
Add Sticky NoteHORN:
Britain's most sensational UFO case
occurred in December 1980 in Rendlesham
Forest , between RAF Bentwaters and
RAF Woodbridge. Tell us about that.- Rendlesham Forest - on 2008-10-08
-
POPE:
This is the UK's most famous UFO incident
and it's sometimes referred to as
"Britain's Roswell". -
Add Sticky NoteOver a
series of nights in December 1980
UFOs were seen by dozens of United States
Air Force personnel at Bentwaters and
Woodbridge, two RAF bases operated by the
Americans.- December 1980: American military personnel encounter UFO - on 2008-10-08
-
On the first night the UFO
landed in Rendlesham Forest (which lies
between the two bases) and one of the
witnesses got close enough to touch it. -
Add Sticky NoteSketches from the USAF witness statements
clearly show a craft with strange markings
on its hull, which have been likened to
Egyptian hieroglyphs.- An American airman actually touched the UFO. Also there were strange markings on it; likened to Egyptian hieroglyphics - on 2008-10-08
-
The UFO returned on
another night and was seen by more
witnesses, including the Deputy Base
Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Charles
Halt. -
At one point the UFO illuminated the
spot where Halt and his team were standing
and at another time the UFO was directly
over Woodbridge, firing beams of light
down at the base. -
Subsequently, radiation
readings were taken at the location where
the UFO had been seen on the first night.
They peaked in three indentations found
where the craft had apparently landed. -
The
MoD's Defence Intelligence Staff assessed
that the radiation levels were
significantly higher than background
levels. Subsequently it emerged that a
radar operator at RAF Watton had tracked
an object briefly, over the base. -
I
re-opened the investigation into this case
but was unable to determine what happened.
It remains unexplained. -
Add Sticky NoteHORN:
On 1 November 2006 you were involved
with a Channel Five documentary, The
British UFO Mystery. The programme focused on
a wave of UFO sightings that occurred
on 30 and 31 March 1993 -- The Cosford
Incident -- where many of the witnesses
were police officers and military
personnel. What did you conclude about
this case?- March 30 & 31, 1993: the Cosford Incident - on 2008-10-08
-
POPE:
We had a wave of UFO sightings over the UK
for a period of about six hours. Many
of the witnesses included police officers
and military personnel. -
At one point the
UFO flew over RAF Cosford and RAF Shawbury. -
Add Sticky NoteWitnesses described a vast
triangular-shaped craft capable of moving
from a virtual hover to speeds of well
over a thousand miles an hour in seconds.- The Cosford Incident: "vast triangular craft" - on 2008-10-08
-
I led the investigation at the time and
even my Head of Division, who was
extremely sceptical about UFOs, was
intrigued by this case. -
We even briefed
the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff, one
of the UK's most senior RAF officers. -
Channel Five's recent investigative
documentary exposed the case to over a
million viewers on primetime terrestrial
TV and led to over 30 new witnesses coming
forward. The production company had
obtained the MoD case file on the incident
(which ran to over 100 pages of
documentation) under the Freedom of
Information Act and asked me to front the
programme, talking viewers through the
case an the MoD investigation. -
As a result
of the interest generated by the programme,
the MoD made the file available on its
website. -
The file includes my sceptical
Head of Division's briefing to the
Assistant Chief of the Air Staff, which
states "In summary, there would seem
to be some evidence on this occasion that
an unidentified object (or objects) of
unknown origin was operating over the
UK". -
Add Sticky NoteThis is as close as
the MoD will ever get to saying that
there's more to UFOs than
misidentifications or hoaxes.- Near admission - on 2008-10-08
-
HORN:
What were some of the other interesting
UFO cases you investigated? -
POPE:
It's difficult to single out interesting
cases unless they're on the scale of
something like Rendlesham Forest or the
Cosford Incident. -
Also, it's
difficult for me to talk about cases the
MoD hasn't yet released. I can't
anticipate what the Department will
release and what they may withhold, so
you'll have to await the release of the
files. -
But in general terms I can say that
other interesting cases included some
radar/visual cases, cases where UFOs were
seen close to military bases, and some
interesting sightings by civil and
military pilots - including a few
near-misses, where collisions were only
narrowly avoided. -
Both the MoD and our
Civil Aviation Authority has information
on several such cases, and whatever one's
beliefs about UFOs, the flight safety
implications should be of concern to
everyone. -
When the MoD released Project
Condign last year (a highly classified
study that had its roots in discussions I
had with the Defence Intelligence Staff in
1993) some of the most interesting
recommendations related to this point. -
One
read "No attempt should be made to
out-manoeuvre a UAP during
interception". -
Another recommendation
states "At higher altitudes, although
UAP appear to be benign to civil
air-traffic, pilots should be advised not
to manoeuvre, other than to place the
object astern, if possible". -
Add Sticky NoteUAP
was the abbreviated form of Unidentified
Aerial Phenomena, a term we decided
to use instead of UFO, as it sounded
more scientific.- Definition of UAP - on 2008-10-08
-
HORN:
Why did you leave the MoD's UFO
department? -
POPE:
After having done the job for 3 years I
was promoted and moved to another post at
a higher grade. -
There's certainly no
truth to the rumour that I was moved
because I was getting too close to the
truth, as some conspiracy theorists
allege. After I left, I took up a
financial policy post, before moving to a
security-related job. -
HORN:
Yet you still work in a different capacity
at the Ministry of Defence, correct? -
I'd greatly enjoyed
my 21 year career, but decided it was time
to seek fresh challenges. I have a number
of business interests and I now have more
time to pursue these. -
POPE:
No. I resigned last year and left the MoD
at the end of October. -
HORN:
I once asked Stanton Friedman a similar
question I'd like to ask you. How do you
respond to allegations that you're
involved in a cover-up or that you're a
disinformation agent? -
POPE:
How can I respond? You can't
prove a negative. The rumour
isn't true, but if people believe this
sort of thing they won't believe my
denial, or the MoD's confirmation of my
departure. -
It does amaze
me though, how many people genuinely seem
to believe this. I get asked it a lot and
see the theory discussed frequently on
various websites and discussion lists. -
The
bottom line is that I worked for the
Government for 21 years, for the very
people who many conspiracy theorists
believe are covering up the truth about
UFOs. To them, the government are the bad
guys, so I'm the bad guy, who's part of
the conspiracy. -
HORN:
Your
investigations ultimately led to other
unexplained phenomena. What do you make of
so-called alien abductions? -
POPE:
While none of these other subjects
were in the UFO project's terms of
reference, they inevitably ended up on my
desk, because there was nowhere else to
send them. -
Add Sticky NoteI've probably looked into
around 100 cases of alien abduction. Some
of these cases were reported to me at the
MoD, but most people contacted me after
I'd written a book on the subject, called
The Uninvited.- "The Uninvited": Nick Pope's book on alien abductions - on 2008-10-08
-
Some sceptics say
these people are attention seekers after
their 15 minutes of fame, but this clearly
isn't true. -
Out of the hundred or so
abductees I've been involved with,
maybe half a dozen are interested in
engaging with the media or the UFO
community. Most aren't interested. -
Other
people suggest these people are
delusional, but again, this theory doesn't
stand up to scrutiny. The few scientists
who have looked at this phenomenon have
found no signs of psychopathology in the
abductees, and evidence (in terms of
increased heartrate and perspiration) that
they genuinely believe they've had these
experiences. -
The use of regression
hypnosis in some of these cases clouds the
issue. The scientific community
generally doesn't accept the validity of
the technique in recovering suppressed
memories, and indeed many believe it can
distort memories or even create false
ones. -
But regression hypnosis isn't used
in all abduction cases, so we can't say
False Memory Syndrome is the answer.
Something's going on with these people,
but the truthful answer is that we don't
know what's happening. -
HORN: Crop
circles? -
POPE:
Some of the small, single circles (and
that's where the phenomenon started) may
be attributable to some form of
meteorological phenomenon such as a
whirlwind or wind vortex. -
Add Sticky NoteAs for the
more complex ones - the so-called
pictograms - there's no doubt in my mind
that most of them are made by people.- Manmade crop circles - on 2008-10-08
-
I've
seen it done. Some of the people
involved in this are highly skilled and
motivated, plan the formations
meticulously, well in advance, and split
the work between several people. -
Some
people call them hoaxers but many of the
people involved see themselves as
conceptual artists. Do I completely
rule out a more exotic explanation? No. In
my line of work, I tried never to rule
anything out altogether, and always tried
to keep an open mind. -
HORN:
Ghosts? -
POPE:
People associate ghosts with old houses,
churches or pubs, but in my experience
there are just as many reports of ghosts
on military bases as anywhere else. -
Add Sticky NoteI've
received numerous such reports, often from
the MoD Police officers or guards who have
to patrol these areas at night. Now, these
are pretty tough guys, as you can imagine,
but some of them have been really spooked
by what they've seen.- Ghosts "haunting" military bases - on 2008-10-08
-
All the classic
signs are present in many of these cases: unexplained
cold spots, guard dogs growling, with
their hackles rising, at certain locations.
And actual ghosts seen at sights where
people have been killed. -
Add Sticky NoteGhosts have
even been seen in MoD Main Building
itself, where the modern headquarters is
built on the site of the much older
Whitehall Palace.- Modern MoD building constructed on parts of old "Whitehall Palace" - on 2008-10-08
-
The remains of Henry
VIII's wine cellar are perfectly preserved
in the basement, and there are some
areas of the building where guards don't
like to patrol alone at night. -
Add Sticky NotePerhaps the
oddest report I received was an animal
ghost story. During the Second World War,
Wing Commander Guy Gibson (who led
the famous Damn Busters raid) had a dog
that was knocked down by a car and
killed, shortly before the raid. The ghost
of this dog has been seen several times at
RAF Scampton.- Ghost dog? - on 2008-10-08
-
HORN:
You've written extensively about your work
with MoD. Is this not a problem since you
signed the Official Secrets Act? -
POPE:
I signed the Official Secrets Act on my
first day in the MoD and even though I've
left, it binds me for life. -
But it
doesn't preclude writing or speaking about
my work. Politicians invariably keep
diaries and write memoirs, and military
officers often write accounts of their
careers. There's no bar on this sort
of activity, provided you follow various
rules and procedures, the most obvious one
being the absolute prohibition on
revealing any classified information. -
HORN:
Your books include "Open Skies,
Closed Minds", "The
Uninvited", "Operation Thunder
Child", and "Operation Lightning
Strike". Anything else you are
working on? -
POPE:
Researching and writing a book typically
takes me between 6 months and a year.
While I intend to write further books
(both non-fiction and fiction) at some
stage, the pressure of other commitments
means that I simply don't have time for
this at the moment. -
HORN:
This is the 60th anniversary of the
Roswell UFO incident. What is your opinion
about what happened there in 1947? -
But
in my experience, if UFO sightings aren't solved
quickly, they're unlikely to be solved at
all. -
POPE:
Clearly something crashed. -
With that in mind, 60 years on,
with most of the direct participants dead,
the chances are we'll never be certain
what happened at Roswell. Unless some
'smoking gun' emerges that's beyond
dispute, I suspect the events will remain
a mystery. -
HORN:
How do you think ufology can best use the
60th anniversary of Roswell to promote the
subject? -
But,
fascinating though Roswell is, ufology
should look forward as well as back.
Promoting ufology should involve not just
the old cases, but recent ones such as the
sighting of a UFO over O'Hare airport or
the sighting by the pilot who saw a UFO in
the vicinity of the Channel Islands. -
It
should also focus on the release of UFO
files by the British and French
governments. Finally, ufology might also
consider how it could best engage
with the scientific community, and in
particular engage in constructive dialogue
with those involved in SETI research. -

In 1958, worried about a possible victory of the FLN in Algeria which could open the way to Soviet influence in Northern Africa, the United States decided to provoke a military coup d’Etat in France.
-
The operation was jointly organized by the Cia’s Direction of Planning – theoretically lead by Frank Wisner, Sr. – and by NATO.
-
Add Sticky NoteBut Wisner had already become senile by that time and it was his successor, Allan Dulles, who supervised the coup.
- Good ole Dulles. His and his brother's name pop up and have been popping up for years whenever one reads something on the "conspiracy" for world government. - on 2008-09-07
-
Out of Algeria, French generals organized a Public Salvation Committee which pressured the Parisian civilian authorities to vote full powers to General de Gaulle without having had to use force.
-
In a first phase, he attempted to deal with the colonial contradiction by granting to the overseas territories a large autonomy within the French Union.
-
Yet, Charles de Gaulle was not the pawn the Anglo-Saxons had believed they could manipulate.
-
But it was already too late to save the French empire; the colonized people didn’t believe any longer in the promises of the Metropolitan France and demanded their independence. After victorious but fierce repression against those fighting for independence, de Gaulle decided to face reality, and in a rare show of political wisdom, he granted independence to each colony.
-
The CIA and NATO supported then all kinds of plots to eliminate him, among which a missed coup and some 40 attempts to murder him.
-
This turn about was perceived by most of those who brought him to power as a betrayal.
-
Add Sticky NoteHowever, certain of his followers approved of his political evolution. Around Charles Pasqua, they created the SAC (Civic action services), a militia to protect him.
- A private militia organized to protect deGaulle. - on 2008-09-07
-
Pasqua was both a Corsican bandit and a former resistant. He married the daughter of a Canadian bootlegger who made fortune during the prohibition and he directed the Ricard company who, after commercialising absinthe, a forbidden alcohol, won respectability by converting to the sales of another alcohol based on liquorice (anisette).
-
Add Sticky NoteThe company continued however to serve as a cover for all sorts of traffics connected to the New York Italian American family of the Genovese (and) that of Lucky Luciano.
- Again, the "Mob" and it's connections surface again as having ties with ad being used by Western governments to further their exclusive NWO policies. - on 2008-09-07
-
It is therefore not surprising that Pasqua called on Étienne Léandri (Ambassador of Luciano) to recruit the hands that constituted the Gaullist militia. A third man played an important role in the formation of the SAC, the former body guard of de Gaulle, Achille Peretti, also a Corsican.
-
Even though asserting his belonging to the Atlantic camp, he questions the Anglo-Saxon leadership. He opposes the entry of the United Kingdom into the European common market (1961 and 1967); refuses the deployment of UN helmets into Congo (1961); encourages the Latin American states to become free of US imperialism (speech of Mexico, 1964); kicks NATO out France and withdraws from the Atlantic Alliance’s integrated command (1966); he condemns Israeli expansionism during the Six Day war (1967); supports independence of Quebec (Speech of Montreal 1967), etc.
-
Thus protected, de Gaulle designs an audacious national independence policy.
-
Simultaneously, de Gaulle consolidated the power of France by endowing it with a military industrial-complex including a nuclear deterrent and guarantying its energy provisions.
-
He conveniently distanced the encumbering Corsicans of his entourage by entrusting them with foreign missions. Thus, Étienne Léandri became a leader of the ELF group (today Total), while Charles Pasqua the trusted man of the Francophone heads of State in Africa.
-
Add Sticky NoteConscious that he could not defy the Anglo-Saxons on all fronts at the same time, De Gaulle allied himself to the Rothschild family, choosing as Prime Minister, Georges Pompidou, who was the fondé de pouvoir of the bank.
- deGaulle and the Rothschilds - on 2008-09-07
-
The two men constituted an efficient tandem, the political audacity of the first never losing sight of the economic realism of the second.
-
When De Gaulle resigned in 1969, Georges Pompidou succeeded him briefly at the Presidency before being taken out by a cancer. The historical Gaullists did not admit his leadership, however, and worried about his anglophile proclivities.
-
They howled treason when Pompidou, supported by the General Secretary of the Élysée, Edouard Balladur, had “perfidious Albion” join the European Common Market.
-
The making of Nicolas Sarkozy
-
That decorum having been put into place, we can now return to our main character, Nicolas Sarkozy.
-
Add Sticky NoteBorn in 1955 he is son to a Hungarian catholic nobleman, Pal Sarkösy of Nagy-Bosca, who sought refuge in France after fleeing the Red Army, and to Andree Mallah, a Jewish commoner from Thessalonica.
- Sarkozy then is Hungarian on his father's side and a Greek Jew on his Mother's. - on 2008-09-07
-
After having three children (Guillaume, Nicolas and François), the couple divorced. Pal Sarkösy of Nagy-Bocsa remarried with an aristocrat, Christine de Ganay, with whom he had two children (Pierre Olivier and Caroline).
-
Nicolas will not be raised by his own parents alone, but will go back and forth within this recomposed family.
-
His mother became the secretary of De Gaulle’s bodyguard, Achille Peretti. The latter, after founding the SAC, pursued a brilliant political career. He was elected Deputy and Mayor of Neuilly sur Seine, the richest residential suburb of the capital, and later President of the National Assembly.
-
Add Sticky NoteUnfortunately, in 1972, Achille Peretti comes under grave accusations. In the United States, Time Magazine reveals the existence of a secret criminal organization « the Corsican Union » which controls a large part of the drug trade between Europe and America, the famous « French connection » which Hollywood popularized on the large screen.
- The "French Connection" - on 2008-09-07
-
Based on parliamentary auditions and on his own investigations, Time names the name of a mafia boss, Jean Venturi, arrested a few years earlier in Canada, who is none other than Charles Pasqua’s commercial delegate at the liquor society Ricard.
-
The names of several families headed by the “Corsican Union” are cited, among which that of the Peretti. Achille denies, but is forced to renounce to the presidency of the National Assembly, and barely escapes a “suicide”…
-
Add Sticky NoteIn 1977, Pal Sarkösy of Nagy-Bocsa separates from his second wise, Christine de Ganay, who then gets together with the N°2 of the US State Department central administration. She marries him and settles in America with him. The world being very small, as everyone knows, her husband is none other than Frank Wisner, Jr, son of the previous.
- Sarkozy's step mom, Christine de Ganay married the No-2 at the U.S. State Department, Frank Wisner, Jr..".son of the previous." - on 2008-09-07
-
Junior’s responsibilities at the CIA are unknown, but it is clear that he plays an important role.
-
Nicolas, who remains close to his mother in law, his half brother and his half sister, begins to turn towards the United States where he “benefits” from training programs of the State Department.
-
During that same period, Nicolas Sarkozy adheres to the Gaullist party coming into frequent contact with Charles Pasqua, who was not only a national leader then, but also the head of the party’s Haut de Seine department section.
-
Having finished Law School in 1982 and joined the Barr association, Nicolas Sarkozy married the niece of Achille Peretti. His best man was Charles Pasqua.
-
As a lawyer, Sarkozy defended the interests of his mentors Corsican friends. He bought a property on the Island of Beauty, in Vico, and went as far as envisaging to make his name more “Corsican” by replacing the “y” by an “i”: Sarkozi.
-
The next year, he was elected Mayor of Neuilly sur Seine in replacement of his uncle in law, Achille Peretti, thundered by a heart attack.
-
However, it was not long before Nicolas Sarkozy betrayed his wife, and since 1984, he had a secret liaison with Cecilia, the wife of the most famous entertainer of French television at that time, Jacques Martin, whom he had met while celebrating their marriage, a function he exerted being mayor of Neuilly.
-
That double life lasted five years, before the lovers decided to quit their respective couples in order to build a new home.
-
In 1992, Nicolas was best man in the marriage of Jacques Chirac’s daughter, Claude, with an editorialist of Le Figaro.
-
He couldn’t refrain himself from seducing Claude and having a short liaison with her, while officially living with Cecilia.
-
The cuckold husband committed suicide by absorbing drugs. The break was brutal and without pardon between the Chirac’s and Nicolas Sarkozy.
-
In 1993, the left lost the legislative elections. President François Mitterrand refused to resign and entered into cohabitation with a right wing Prime Minister.
-
Jacques Chirac who ambitioned the presidency, and was thinking at that point of constituting, with Edoaurd Balladur, a couple comparable to that of De Gaulle and Pompidou, refused to be Prime minister and left his post to his “30 year long friend”, Edouard Balladur.
-
Add Sticky NoteIn spite of his sulphurous past, Charles Pasqua became Interior Minister. While keeping high hand over Moroccan marijuana trade, he took advantage of his situation to legalize his other activities taking control of casinos, gambling and horse races in francophone Africa.
- French ties with North Africa and the drug trade. - on 2008-09-07
-
He wove ties with Saudi Arabia and Israel and became an officer of honour to the Mossad. Nicolas Sarkozy on his part, became minister of Budget and spokesman for the government.
-
Add Sticky NoteIn Washington, Frank Wisner, Jr. became the successor of Paul Wolfowitz as head of the Political Planning department of the Department of Defense. Nobody noticed at that time the ties to the spokesman of the French government.
- Frank Wisener, Jr and the U.S. DoD - on 2008-09-07
-
It is then that tensions similar to those which rocked the Gaullist party 30 years earlier, broke out between the historical Gaullists and the financial right wing, incarnated by Balladur.
-
Add Sticky NoteThe new element was that Charles Pasqua and along with him, the young Nicolas Sarkozy, betray Jacques Chirac in order to join the Rothschild current.
- Rothschild again - on 2008-09-07
-
Mayhem breaks out. The conflict will reach a climax in 1995 when Edouard Balladur ran for president, against his former friend, Jacques Chirac, and was beaten. Foremost, following instructions from London and Washington, the Balladur government opened negotiations for membership status to the European Union and NATO to States of Central and Eastern Europe who had freed from Soviet control.
-
Havoc reigns then in the Gaullist party where the friends of yesterday are ready to kill themselves today. To be able to finance his electoral campaign, Edouard Balladur attempts to grab the secret slush fund of the Gaullist party, hidden in the double deckered accounting of the books of the oil group ELF.
-
The ride through the desert
-
Through out his first mandate, Jacques Chirac keeps Nicolas Sarkozy at arms distance. The man was discrete during his ride through the desert. Discretely, however, he continued to weave ties to the financial circles.
In 1996, finally succeeding to bring to conclusion an endless divorce procedure, Nicolas Sarkozy marries Cecilia. Two billionaires were their best men, Martin Bouygues and Bernard Arnaud (the richest man of the country).
-
The final act
-
Way before the Iraqi crisis, Frank Wisner Jr. and his colleagues at the CIA plan the destruction of the Gaullist current and the coming to power of Nicolas Sarkozy.
-
They move in three phases: first, the elimination of the leadership of the Gaullist party and the take over of the party apparatus, then the elimination of his main right wing rival and the securing the nomination to the presidential election for the Gaullist party; finally, the elimination of any serious challenger on the left to make sure that Nicolas would win the presidential election.
-
Before dying from a terminal disease, for reasons which remain unknown, he decided to video tape his confessions and for reasons which are even more obscure, the “cassette” landed in the hands of a Socialist party leader, Dominique Strauss Kahn, who addressed it indirectly to the media.
-
During years, posthumous revelations by a real estate dealer kept the media on their toes.
-
While the confessions of the real estate dealer did not lead to any juridical sanctions, they opened up the Pandora’s Box.
-
The main victim of the series of scandals was Prime Minister Alain Juppé. To protect Chirac, he assumed alone all the penal sanctions. The removal of Juppé from the front lodges opened the way for the take by Sarkozy of the leadership of the Gaullist party.
-
Sarkozy exploited then his position to force Jacques Chirac to take him into the government once again, in spite of their reciprocal hatred.
-
This post gave him control over the prefects and the internal intelligence apparatus which he used to gain positions of power over the large administrations.
-
In the end, he became Interior Minister. Mistake !
-
He dealt also with Corsican affairs. Prefect Claude Érignac was murdered. Even though nobody claimed it, the murder was immediately interpreted as a challenge by the independentists to the Republic.
-
Add Sticky NoteFollowing a long hunt, the police managed to arrest a fleeing suspect, Yvan Colonna, son of a Socialist deputy. Caring little about the presumption of innocence, Nicolas Sarkozy announced the arrest, accusing the suspect of being the assassin.

-
The news is too important, a mere two days away from the referendum the minister has organized in Corsica to modify the status of the island. Be as it may, the electors reject the Sarkozy project, who, according to some, favoured mafia interests.
-
While Yvan Colonna was ultimately declared guilty, he always claimed his innocence and no material proof was ever found against him. Strangely, the man preferred to remain totally silent rather than reveal what he actually knew.
-
Add Sticky NoteWe reveal here that prefect Érignac was not directly killed by the nationalists, but by a paid killer, immediately exfiltrated towards Angola where he was hired to the security of the Elf group.

The mobile of the crime was precisely connected to the previous functions of Érignac, responsible for the African networks at Pasqua’s cooperation ministry.
-
As for Yvan Colonna, he is a personal friend of Nicolas Sarkozy since decades and their children have entertained social relations.
-
A new scandal broke out then: phoney computer listings were circulating falsely accusing several personalities of hiding bank accounts in Luxembourg, at Clearstream.
-

Add Sticky NoteIt remained for the opposition candidacies to be neutralized. The membership fees to the Socialist party were reduced to a symbolic level in order to attract new activists. Suddenly, thousands of youth take membership cards. Among them, there were at least 10 000 new members who are in reality militants from the “Lambertist” Trotskyite party, (named after its founder Pierre Lambert).

It is not the first time the “Lambertists” infiltrate the Socialist party. They introduced there two notorious CIA agents : Lionel Jospin (who became Prime minister) and Jean Christophe Cambadelis, the main advisor to Dominique Strauss Kahn.
-
Primaries were organized inside the Socialist party to designate its candidate to the presidential election.
-
Two personalities were competing: Laurent Fabius and Ségolène Royal. Only the first was a danger for Sarkozy.
-
Dominique Strauss Kahn came into the race with the mission to eliminate Fabius at the last moment. Something he did with the help of the votes of the infiltrated “lambertists”, who voted not for him but for Royal.
-

First days at the Élysée
-
The evening of the second round of the presidential election, when polling agencies announced his probable victory, Nicolas Sarkozy gave a short speech to the nation from his general campaign quarters. Then, contrary to all custom, he didn’t celebrate with the militants of his party, but went to the Fouquet’s.
-
The famous brasserie at the Champs-Élysées, formerly the place of rendez-vous of the “Corsican union” is today the property of Casino magnate, Dominique Desseigne. It was lent to the elected president to receive his friends and main campaign donors. Some hundred guests crowded there, the richest men of France hobnobbing with the casino bosses.
-
The elected president then offered himself some days of well merited rest.
-
Transported to Malta by a private Falcon 900, he relaxed on the Paloma, a 65 m yacht of his friend Vincent Bollore, a billionaire trained at the Rothschild bank.
-
Finally, Nicolas Sarkozy was inaugurated president of the French Republic.
-
The first decree he signed was not to enact an amnesty, but to authorize the casinos of his friends Desseigne and Partouche to multiply the money machines.
-
He composed his working team and his government. Without surprise, one finds there an ominous casino owner (the minister of Youth and Sports) and the lobbyist of the casinos of his friend Desseigne (who became a spokesman of the “Gaullist party”.)

Olympic Tower of Memory or Babel Revisited?
-
By SHARON K. GILBERT

-
SOMETIMES television inspires; sometimes it disgusts; sometimes it teaches. Last night’s NBC airing of the Chinese Olympics’ Closing Ceremonies managed to do all the above plus more: it programmed and revealed.
-
If you missed it, I’m betting YouTube will soon have it.
-
But if you were there last night, comfy on your couch, then you may have had the same reaction Derek and I had at the ‘in-your-face’ symbolism called ‘The Memory Tower’.
-
As with the imagery in Greece back in 2004, China’s pageantry captivated the imagination, and implanted pagan ideas.
-
Greece showed us Mercury bringing fire to humanity, ironically repeated in August on the very night of China’s opening ceremony (08-08-08 — the triple ‘888′ is Christ’s number — read ‘AntiChrist’ or ‘False Christ’ here) when Russia and Georgia opened fire in the Caucasus, the very region where Prometheus (Mercury) delivered his fiery gift.
-
China’s fire theme began with the Torch Relay that bore the symbol of the Phoenix (aka the Firebird, the Eagle of Lagash, and is emblazoned on Russia’s flags — two headed Eagle).
-
This Promethean Relay tracked the longest route ever taken for the Flame since the tradition was re-ignited by Hitler in 1936.
-
On 08-08-08, the fire of the gods entered the ‘Bird’s Nest’ (Phoenix Nest), where the fire settled on top of a massive cauldron which looked remarkably like the Torch held by the Statue of Liberty (China owns most of the US economy, and George Bush sat next to Putin during the opening ceremonies).
-
One might even see phallic symbolism in the massive torch, another sign of impending birth (or in the case of the Phoenix - rebirth).
-
Remember that movie, The Number 23? 23 is supposed to be a cosmic trigger.
-
Take special note that ‘W’ is the 23rd letter in the English alphabet.
-
Well, on August 23rd, this flame, atop a torch not unlike Liberty’s (Liberty is aka Columba or Diana — Princess Diana was killed in August) was extinguished only to be re-ignited in the hearts and memories (Jungian idea of ‘race memory’) of humanity.
-
We all remember how Princess Diana asked to be remembered? She wanted to become the Queen of Hearts, and she is revered now by some as Queen of Heaven (Semiramis, mother of the Sun King).
-
Notice how the ‘Memory Tower’ of the Closing Ceremonies strongly resembles Athanasius Kircher’s Tower of Babel painting. If you missed the ceremonies, this Memory Tower shows the hopes of athletes and the world as we anticipate the 2012 Games in London, home of the Illuminati Elite.
-
Surely it is not coincidence that this ‘burning tower’, indicative of a rising Phoenix and a Gateway to Heaven, point to the very year when the sun will rise out of the mouth of the Dragon (Leviathan)?
-
Is someone or something signalling a return of the Sun (Son)? Hint: William turns 30 in June 2012, on the Summer Solstice. Christ began His ministry at age 30.
-
Will 2012 see a return to one-world thinking and of the Once and Future King, Arthur Pendragon (William’s second name is Arthur, so he could call himself King Arthur)?
-
If 2012 marks the end of The Age (precessional reset — Mayan year 13.0.0.0.0.0), then the entire world might be set ablaze, metaphorically or perhaps even literally.
-
Either way, dear friends, the clock is ticking. It is now 1,432 days until London’s Opening Ceremonies commence. And the Lord God Jehovah watches as each of us chooses sides.
Which side will you choose? As for our house, we choose to serve the Lord — Christ Jesus.

Was the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem more than a place of worship?
-
Was it, indeed, a roadmap to future events – a kind of prophetic landmark whose significance is only now revealed through the development of satellite imagery?
-
That is the contention of an explosive new book, "Temple at the Center of Time: Newton's Bible Codex Deciphered and the Year 2012," by David Flynn.
-
The book asserts it has "deciphered Isaac Newton’s greatest paradox: None other than 'the unified field theory' of Bible prophecy."
-
Sir Isaac Newton was not only a great thinker in physics, the book explains, but had extensive knowledge of the Scriptures with a special interest in prophecy.
-
Newton believed there was a hidden code, a type of time-encrypted language. He believed the key to deciphering this code was the Temple of Solomon.
-
He wrote extensively on the length measurements of the Temple and suggested it intersected time and dimension, serving as a prophetic and supernatural structure.
-
According to Flynn, although Newton never cracked this code, he was on the right track and was limited only by the lack of sophisticated satellite technology.
-
"The description of Jerusalem as a terrestrial center point, situated in the center of the world, is found in Philo's Legatio and Gaium," Flynn notes.
-
"The world is like a human eyeball. The white of the eye is the ocean surrounding the world, the iris is this continent, the pupil is Jerusalem, and the image in the pupil is the Holy Temple."
-
To make his case, David starts by illustrating what the reader soon learns is the first of numerous extraordinary time-distance anomalies.
-
The prisca sapentia framework of Newton suggests that the distance between the temple of Jerusalem and the capital city of any nation historically effecting the chronicles of Jerusalem would be supernaturally connected.
-
This relationship would be significant with respect to units of time, expressing meaning in line with God's divine plan as recorded in the word of his prophets.
-
See for yourself the theories of Flynn's book:
-
Newton and Flynn point out how Ezekiel recorded the dimensions of the future temple in chapter 40 of his book, starting with the lengths of the temple gates, chambers, courts, walls and its exterior.
-
After this, calibrations of weights and measure for the temple functions were given in detail.
-
Finally, the distance of land outward from the temple was measured.
And he brought me thither, and, behold, [there was] a man, whose appearance [was] like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. (Ezekiel 40:3)
-
The measure of distance away from Jerusalem in this text implies a spiritual significance, says Flynn.
-
A relationship between Jerusalem and the nations existed from the foundation of the temple, but was not completely perceived – and could not be fully known until the conventions of modern science.
-
For instance, if a measurement is made from the point of the temple of Jerusalem's foundation stone to the palace of Balthazar – the political center of Babylon and the exact location where the writing on the wall occurred – the distance should relate to the period in which Babylon most influenced Jerusalem.
-
Such a relationship exists and is the important distance of 539.86 statute miles.
-
What makes this measurement unusual is that Babylon, which played such a significant role in Hebrew antiquity, was measured and numbered in its relationship to Jewish history in Daniel chapter five during the famous handwriting on the wall.
-
When the prophet interpreted the manifestation, he proclaimed in verses 25-28:
And this is the writing that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE, God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it; TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting; PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
-
That very night King Belshazzar was slain, and Darius the Mede became king.
-
Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians on the 16th day of Tishri of the Jewish calendar, which correlates to Oct. 12, 539 B.C.
-
Curiously, the number 539 is also the distance in statute miles between the temple of Jerusalem's foundation stone to the palace of Balthazar, as confirmed by modern satellite measurement.
-
Does this give insight to the handwriting on the wall or the dating and measuring of Babylon's affairs in the history of Israel?
-
Does this imply that Babylon's influence over Israel was supernaturally predated and measured, or foreknown?
-
Or was this just a fascinating coincidence? As the first of such discoveries made by Flynn, he wondered the same thing.
-
So Flynn studied epic moments having to do with the sovereignty of Israel and the nations that played key roles in Hebrew and Jewish history.
-
Over and over he found fascinating date-measurement anomalies connecting pivotal moments in time to the temple in Jerusalem. He went through annals, considering when acts by world leaders had influenced the development of the Jewish state. He continued to find more.
-
A case in point was the relationship between Napoleon Bonaparte and the Jews.
-
Napoleon had previously encountered the prophecies of the Old Testament in the Jewish community of Malta, which he liberated under French law in 1798.
-
For hundreds of years, the Knights Hospitalier of Saint John of Jerusalem had oppressed the Jews by enslaving them and preventing open worship.
-
One of Napoleon's first acts after banishing the Knights was to allow the Jews to build a synagogue, and the community of Jews on Malta welcomed Napoleon as a conqueror equal to Cyrus the Great.
-
They believed their liberation by him was the fulfillment of the "king of the North" prophecy in Daniel 11.
-
This was followed on the first day of Passover, April 20, 1799, when Napoleon issued his proclamation of a Jewish state of Palestine.
-
On May 22, 1799, the Paris newspaper, Moniteur Universel, announced: "Bonaparte has published a proclamation in which he invites all the Jews of Asia and Africa to gather under his flag in order to re-establish the ancient Jerusalem. He has already given arms to a great number, and their battalions threaten Aleppo."
-
Although the proclamation did not come to fruition, it increased a drive for Jews worldwide to pursue a sovereign state in Israel.
-
Napoleon's ideas were also embraced by many who viewed them as a fulfillment of ancient prophecy, even some belonging to the Church of England.
-
This is important because Paris was named after the Paris, a Celtic people who settled on this central island in the 3rd century B.C.
-
The city later spread outward from this point along the banks of the Seine River.
-
This island is considered the birthplace of Paris and was the site of the city's earliest settlements.
-
It was home to the French Kings from A.D. 400 to A.D. 1300. The royal palace and parliament were located on the western side of the island.
-
Extending a measuring line from this historical center of Paris to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem shows the distance in nautical miles, 1,799.
-
The intriguing connection to Flynn's book is clear: Napoleon made a proclamation of historical importance to the Jewish nation in the year 1799, and perhaps not coincidently the distance from Paris to the Temple Mount in nautical miles corresponds perfectly at 1,799.
-
As findings like these stack up and the mathematical improbability of Flynn's disclosure increases, one of the most extraordinary parts of the book is unveiled when we learn how the year 1948 is marked by time-distance relations to the Temple location and several other mind-boggling dates and places, both past and future, which we will not divulge here.
-
However, a peek into this section of the book finds discussion of how Britain was the nation that was "friendly to the Jews" and enabled them to return to Israel over 200 after Newton's death.
-
The British defeated the Ottoman Turks and became administrators of the land of ancient Israel in 1917. Through mandate after World War I and World War II until 1948, London was the heart of the governing intellect over the region.
-
London's original location at its founding is an important point in establishing the exact value of time and distance between it and Jerusalem's Temple.

-
The Romans established Londinium in about A.D. 47.
-
It was a civilian settlement built where the Thames became narrow enough for a bridge to be built across it but was still deep enough to admit large ocean vessels.
-
In the 16th century, William Camden believed that the "London Stone" was a Roman milestone from which all distances were measured in the province.
-
In the 17th century, Christopher Wren was able to observe the foundations of the London Stone underneath Cannon Street during the rebuilding of London after the Great Fire.
-
With this information, it is possible to extend a measuring line from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the exact center of ancient London, and by fixing a point on the site of the temple mount, a measuring line extended over Jerusalem to the center of London produces 1,948.40 nautical miles.
-
Therefore, incredibly, recorded in the earth between the Temple Mount of Jerusalem and the historic center of London is what Flynn sees as the fulfillment of Newton's own prediction: Israel became a nation again May 14th, 1948, corresponding perfectly to a distance between the temple and London of 1948 nautical miles.
-
As the reader moves through Temple at the Center of Time, these time-length correlations accumulate quickly, including numerous ancient dates such as 1441 B.C. when the Exodus from Egypt occurred. It turns out is 1,441,000 feet from the Jerusalem Temple to the Great Pyramid in Giza.
-
Flynn finds dozens of other key dates in the past through similar satellite mapping measurements including some related to the United States, Russia and Rome.
-
Before it is even officially released, Flynn's book is causing a sensation in some circles where it is being compared to "The Bible Code."

Mystery deepens surrounding Kincardine area explosions

-
The mystery has deepened surrounding explosions that shook the Kincardine area last Thursday with University of Western Ontario scientists ruling out a meteor shower.
-
“Something pretty significant exploded south and west of Goderich and Kincardine. It could have exploded out in Lake Huron,” said Dr. Peter Brown, associate professor in the department of physics and astronomy at Western and the Canada Research Chair of meteor science.
-
Highly sensitive devices installed near Lucan by Western to monitor low frequency sound waves detected a series of four impulses that lasted about a minute, starting at 11:12 p.m. on July 31.
-
Five minutes later a low frequency rumbling was detected coming from the Kincardine area.
-
“If you had been in London and it was really quiet outside, you should just have been able to hear the low rumble from these explosions. That’s unusual at this sort of a distance,” said Brown.
-
With Ontario’s largest nuclear plant located just north of Kincardine, the explosions have triggered international media interest.
-
Officials at Bruce Power have said there was nothing unusual at the nuclear station.
-
South Bruce OPP were inundated with 911 calls shortly after 11 p.m. that night with residents describing walls shaking and windows rattling.
-
Brown said the signals detected at Lucan, probably five or six minutes after the original blast, were intense.
If it had been caused by a meteor, there should have been a bright fireball in the sky, he said. -
The university has a camera system at Kincardine aimed at the sky to capture the image of any meteors.
-
“We have already looked during the time interval of interest,” said Brown. “It was clear that night and no meteor.”
-
The monitoring devices at Lucan indicate all of the explosions occurred in the same area south and west of the Kincardine area and south of Goderich.
-
In the past, the same instruments have picked up mining explosions in Wyoming in the western U.S. and the Shell refinery explosion in Sarnia.
-
“Based on frequency content and the phenomenology of the signals, these are not consistent from what we would expect from a meteor at all,” said Brown.
-
But the signals also don’t fit another theory, that it was caused by a sonic boom from a jet, he said.
-
“They are not all that consistent with shockwaves you would see with supersonic aircraft,” he said.
The closest fit for the signals from the explosion, particularly the low rumbling, would be surface blasting at a mine, Brown said. -
The only mine in the area is Sifto Salt’s underground operation at Goderich.
-
A worker at the mine yesterday who lives nearby said he has never felt any tremor from blasting at the salt mine that stretches under the lake.

Just as well, really, because it pulls him back into the realm of humanity, and without it we might be in danger of trading hallelujahs and tugging his frayed hem.
-
'He's not the President,' reprimands the copper keeping crowds at bay outside the House of Commons. 'Yes, he is!' wails a fat white sunburnt American. 'He's my President! Let me throooough, man, let me through!'
-
'He's not the President,' comes the (angrier, screechier, more frustrated and didactic) cop's reply. 'He's a ...'
-
Because there was something utterly messianic about the visit yesterday to London of what polls increasingly have down as the United States' next President.
-
Not least the presence of mortals gathering to be sprinkled with stardust, PMs and PMs-in-waiting among them.
-
There was a rather significant mention of the 'transatlantic' alliance, as opposed to the 'special relationship' that we Brits seem to get so high on;
-
Barack Obama said a few things yesterday, and said them well.
-
a taut and careful and supremely successful nuancing of the Europhilia he possesses and which gives liberals hope.
-
Rather than boring on with soundbites about the 'special relationship', he simply talked - hesitantly sometimes, but always thinking - of what Britain and America have in common. He spoke of the rule of law and due process, before adding, more winningly: 'We just like the people! There is a deep and abiding affection for the British people in America and a fascination with all things British that's not going to go away any time soon.'
-
He wants, as he said in both France and Germany, some help with troops in Afghanistan, while wanting to get out of Iraq. Again, the nuancing. He also spoke, unheedingly, of the 'stalwart' assistance given by British troops.
-
But, mainly, he simply appeared, and sprinkled that stardust.
-
Gordon Brown could be seen beaming.
-
Obama wasn't allowed, through protocol, to grasp Mr B's hand outside for the cameras, as he is only a presidential candidate, and it wasn't done for John McCain's visit. But there was an Obama arm swiftly around Gordon's shoulders, and a (rather fluid) returning lower-back pat, before the door shut.
-
Asked, a little later, about Brown's prospects, he said thoughtfully: 'You're always more popular before you're in charge. Once you're responsible, you're going to make some people unhappy.'
-
Gordon and Barack walked together - a few minutes out at the back of Downing Street around St James's Park. Apparently they talked about economies, global warming, terrorism, Middle East stuff.
-
Obama had been up at about four in the morning to do the same thing at breakfast with a tired-looking Tony Blair.
-
Apparently Obama sleeps for four hours every night.
-
In the garden there was something going on. Psychologists have a word for it - mirroring? Transference? Both had dark suits, done up with one button in the middle, and white shirts, and silky reddish ties, their left hands in their pockets, and their right hands gesturing, constantly.
-
Back in the garden, Gordon waved his right hand to show him various trees. Nobody quite knows why. Nor what he was saying.
-
our Prime Minister did indeed seem to be genuinely, sunnily, smiling.
-
Twenty minutes later, Obama met David Cameron in the grounds of the Commons, and Cameron did the same. Waved his arms and showed him shrubs. Don't they have trees in Illinois?
-
Mr Obama is now the world's most recognisable phenomenon.
-
There were, by 11 yesterday morning, hundreds of fans standing in King Charles Road, round the corner from Downing Street, cameras and phones held high.
-
There were banners: 'Mr B Obama you are a ray of hope 4 billions of young men and women around the globe'.
-
There were tears, really. Crying. Logos. Slogans. Hope.
-
The woman on the Clapham omnibus quite literally rose to her feet. A big old belching red number 88 was the first vehicle stopped at 12.44 as Obama's convoy fled the gates of Westminster to head back to Illinois. She stood up, earrings and sunglasses bouncing, shouting through the glass, furiously snapping away on her phone, ecstatic.
-
The woman on the Clapham omnibus is our 'How will it play in Peoria?' in America.
-
But the bus was going, for once, too fast, leaving on the retina only the shimmering slick of an advertising flyer for, I assume, a film called Space Chimps Go Bananas. There was a cartoon monkey. Disappearing fast. Perhaps you want to provide the Bush metaphor?
-
And now Mr O, with his wickedly easy smile, has been flying, home, and very possibly listening to Leonard Cohen, and smiling. First we take Manhattan. Then we take Berlin.
-
It's all gone rather well. And you are going home, sir, very possibly to a historic victory on 4 November, and this was a canny little trip, so well-judged, and your aides will be enjoying a Scotch or two on the way. Why wouldn't you want to smile?
