Dreams from God; night visions. These aren't the type of dreams I usually have, so I think they are important. Note: I don't know when the Russian attack will happen. All I know is what I saw in my dream. I'm not the kind of person who embellishes stories cuz that's dishonest and it's lying.

More than 1,000 American troops have been wounded in battle over the past three months in Afghanistan, accounting for one-fourth of those injured in combat since the U.S.-led invasion in 2001.

The dramatic increase in amputees and other seriously injured service members comes as October marks the deadliest month for U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
-
Expanded military operations, a near-doubling of the number of troops since the beginning of the year and a Taliban offensive that has included a proliferation of roadside bombings have led to the great increase in casualties.
-
U.S. troops in Afghanistan are suffering wounds at a higher rate than those who were serving in Iraq when violence spiraled during the military "surge" two years ago.

In mid-2007, 600 U.S. troops were wounded in Iraq each month out of about 150,000 troops deployed there. In Afghanistan, about 68,000 troops are currently installed, with about 350 wounded each month recently.

Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell acknowledged that the casualties in Afghanistan have surpassed Iraq surge proportions and noted that the violence in Afghanistan is directed more against U.S. and other coalition forces, whereas it was heavily sectarian in Iraq. "It shows you how we are the targets and how effectively they are targeting us," Morrell said.

He noted that Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates has become concerned about the rising number of wounded and has ordered thousands of additional support troops to Afghanistan to look for, and minimize, the roadside bombs.

Military doctors say the nature of the Afghanistan casualties is reminiscent of those in Iraq in 2007. "We're seeing similar types of injuries from Afghanistan that we saw in Iraq" before and during the surge, said Lt. Col. Shelton Davis, chief of physical medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington.

More than 1,000 improvised explosive devices, or roadside bombs, exploded or were found in Afghanistan in August, more than double any monthly total until this summer.

The bombs account for 70 to 80 percent of U.S. and coalition casualties in that country, according to Lt. Gen. Thomas F. Metz, director of the Pentagon's Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization.

The bombs are so powerful, he said, that they can take out the latest mine-resistant vehicles the Pentagon has employed to protect troops. In addition, insurgents have begun targeting troops on foot.

Metz told military reporters this week that IEDs are now the "weapon of choice" for Taliban fighters.

He said that the rise in bombings has coincided with the doubling of U.S. troop numbers this year and that further troop increases -- now under consideration by President Obama -- would bring more bombs.

As U.S. ground forces moved in this year, Metz said at a House Armed Services Committee hearing this week, "the enemy was ready with a very thick array of IEDs. . . . Those soldiers and Marines ran into those IEDs, and it was what we predicted."

Walter Reed's Ward 57 provides wrenching proof of the devastating effectiveness of the bombs, with patients suffering amputations, spinal cord damage, traumatic brain injuries and fractures.

On Aug. 18, Lt. Dan Berschinski, 25, of Peach Tree City, Ga., was serving as a platoon leader with the Stryker brigade combat team in Kandahar province, where the roads were laced with bombs and his unit had to operate without engineer support or mine-detection equipment.

His platoon was crossing a footbridge when a bomb threw Berschinski to the ground, deafened a sergeant and blew up Pfc. Jonathan Yanney, a radio operator. An initial search located part of Yanney's shredded helmet, pieces of a boot and some small body parts that Berschinski said team members put in a plastic bag.

Realizing that not only the roads but also the foot trails were too dangerous, Berschinski and his men moved on by walking through shin-high water. Regrouping in a mud-walled compound later that day, Berschinski was passing a gate when another bomb blew up underneath him, bouncing him off a wall and tossing him back into the crater that had formed.

"I immediately reached down -- up, really, since I was upside down -- for my legs. I could tell they were gone," Berschinski said in a written account provided by his family. His right leg and hip and his left leg above the knee were amputated. According to Metz, few soldiers have survived stepping on such bombs.

But the survival rate among the wounded is greater than in previous conflicts because of improved first aid, quick evacuations to field hospitals and better armored protection.

As more wounded flow in, hospitals must adjust.

"We can open more beds as needed and bring on more staff as needed. As you can imagine, that is not without its own challenges," said Col. Paul Pasquina, chief of orthopedics and rehabilitation at Walter Reed and the Bethesda National Naval Medical Hospital.

He noted that although military medical personnel are in demand stateside, they also must deploy overseas.

"The ward is pretty full now," said Tracy Glascoe, a physician assistant on Ward 57.

One significant challenge, she said, is helping wounded troops transition from a regimen of constant ward care so that they can work on further physical rehabilitation.

Resting the stub of his right leg on his hospital bed one day last week, Spec. Harrison Ruzicka, 23, said he is eager for physical therapy. Ruzicka, who is from North Carolina knows he faces a long recovery but said he was thankful to be alive after a bomb flipped his armored vehicle into a river on Aug. 7.

He recalled being pinned under the vehicle and fearing he could drown in the river.

He said he screamed for help but quickly realized no one was there. He somehow got loose, swam to the embankment and dragged himself onto land with his arms. He knew his legs were broken. "I didn't want to look at them because I would have put myself in shock," he said.

He started calling for his good friend, vehicle driver Sgt. Jerry R. Evans Jr., 23, of Eufaula, Ala. "I was in his wedding party," Ruzicka said. "There was no response. Nothing from him."

I am not making these obvious suggestions with any expectation that they will be passed or seriously debated. The plutocratic corruption of both our parties makes such a prospect almost unthinkable.

What I do want to contemplate is the serious prospect of war.

As we face the risk of major depression again, I believe we inevitably face the danger of major war again.

In the meantime, some aspects of the financial meltdown, although they arose for many reasons and were not the result of some conspiratorial cabal, may be prolonged because of their utility to the war-minded.

President-elect Obama and Western leaders have to adopt a comprehensive approach that sees the region [with Afghanistan's neighbors, including Pakistan, India, Russia, China, Iran, and the former Soviet states] as a unit with interlocking development issues to be resolved such as poverty, illiteracy and weak governance.

It's a sad fact that the people who have resolved to vote
for either McCain or Obama don't know much of anything about either one
of them. Their emotions have been systematically molded by the lamestream
media over the past few months -
I say "emotions" because none
of them has sufficient knowledge of either candidate upon which to base
a defendable "opinion." Opinions can't be formed without knowledge. -
"Choices" made on the basis of scant knowledge is guesswork
at best, emotional at worst. -

If Obama loses, you can rest assured there will be demonstrations
in cities all across the country. -
You'll see window-breaking, looting,

etc.) will be hogging every television camera they can find to publicly
claim "foul," "rigged voting," "disenfranchised"
voters, and the like. -
The police, and maybe the National Guard, will
be out in force beforehand because these results are both quietly expected
and presumed inevitable. -
They'll run specials (they're
getting them ready now) to remind viewers of the exploits of MLK, Rosa
Parks, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and other lesser-known black leaders of
the past. -
The media will fan the flames.

Programs will harken back to the days of slavery (which existed
in most countries two centuries ago) and will shame and throw guilt trips
on the greedy white folk. We'll be reminded once again that our ancestors
"stole" the land from the native Indians. -
If Obama wins, then essentially the same thing will occur,
with a few twists here and there. -
The riots, the destruction, and the
attacks will be similar, though the motivation will be slightly different. -
Lower class and uneducated blacks will feel empowered by having a black
president and will want to publicly demonstrate to showcase their newly-acquired status
and influence. -
They'll feel "in charge" after hundreds of years
of oppression. -
They'll "take back" what they sense "well-to-do"
people - - especially elderly people - - have "stolen" from them
in the past, the things to which they feel "entitled." -

things could achieve the same ends before the election. For example, the

The laughable bailouts of AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae,
Bear Stearns and other banking/financial entities have put the final nails
in the dollar's coffin. The collapse may come in the form of a stock market
crash or it can come in other ways. -
The dollar can't last more than six months as things
are now. -
Should the financial collapse occur before the election,
der Fuhrer Bush can declare martial law and suspend all elections, again
for up to two years which is extendable. -
Meanwhile, the dollar will be
declared worthless and the new Amero will be put into circulation. -
The supply
of Ameros has been printed and the coins minted for more than two
years now. It's warehoused and ready to go. -
What Federal Reserve Notes
folks have now can be stashed away with the Confederate dollars a lot of
people were stuck with after the Civil War. -
Borders between the U.S. and Mexico, and between the U.S.
and Canada, will cease to exist. There will be no more "illegal immigration,"
as individual movement within the North American continent will be
possible, though the people may well be restricted to "sectors"
to which we'll all be assigned. -
Everyone will be declared "North
American citizens" and "U.S. Persons," "Mexican Persons,"
and "Canadian Persons" within the North American Union. -
Many of the laws already on the books are patently
unconstitutional, but they are laws and the enforcers will cram them down
our throats, plus the courts will ratify them without permitting Constitutional
challenges. -

People and entities which mismanaged their operations should have been
allowed to fail outright. -
People who took mortgage loans they could not
pay should have been foreclosed upon and put out of the houses they had
no business occupying in the first place. -
All Congress would have had
to do was to suspend capital gains taxes for five or ten years and there
would have been businesses which would have bought up all the banks and
lending institutions, and qualified buyers in the housing market would
have bought the houses at depressed and distressed prices. -
Problems arise when government attempts to "influence"
or "control" the marketplace. -
Clinton and Gore, with the help
of Janet Reno, pressured lending institutions back in the 1990s to stop
"redlining," a codeword which meant "turning down loan applicants
who weren't creditworthy." -
They wanted to increase minority home
ownership, and that was a noble desire, but the government had no right
to influence how lenders assess the reliability and ability to pay of mortgage
applicants. When they did that, Katie bar the door, because people came
out of the woodwork and became (at least temporarily) "homeowners." -
Rentals exist simply because of market demand - - some
people who cannot buy homes HAVE to rent or live with family members.
Some people are irresponsible and are destined to rent all of their lives. -
The government cannot change that, and it should not try. Besides, that's
beyond the limited powers granted the government by the Constitution (which
the government claims we have, it just doesn't honor its provisions). -

Another possibility is that a significant event (terrorist
attack) can occur before the election. If that should happen, it will
have been engineered and executed by elements of the United States Government
(CIA, FBI, NSA, etc.) -
and it will be blamed on somebody specific, perhaps
Iran. -
That could trigger not only martial law, it could resurrect the
draft and, within four to six months, we could have a military force 50%
larger than it is now. -
If der Fuhrer Bush chooses to allow the elections to go
on as scheduled, or if he suspends them for 90 days or so, then presidential
winds would shift and McCain would be hailed as the man for the "command"
job ahead (he's a military "hero" don't forget), while Obama's
inexperience would be exploited to the hilt, and successfully I suspect. -
I think even the 98% of blacks determined to vote for him would recognize
he isn't the man needed at the helm if we become entangled in more war. -

Some news pieces
prove that those in power have absolutely no interest in the truth. -
One
such story was carried in the July 1, 2008 Washington Post.
The story concerned a former CIA operative who claims that the Agency
ignored evidence that he had presented showing that Iran had ceased
work on a nuclear weapon in 2003 (Warrick, no pagination). -
According to
a lawsuit filed by the operative in 2004, the CIA fired him when he
attempted to file reports that contradicted the position held by the
Administration and the Agency concerning weapons of mass destruction in
the Middle East -
The operative's lawyer, Roy Krieger,
also stated that the operative was ordered by his superiors on five
occasions to either fail to file reports or falsify reports concerning
WMDs in the Near East -
The operative, whose identity is currently being kept secret by the
CIA, had his 22 year intelligence career come crashing down when he
tried to share information gathered by an informant with "access to
sensitive information about Iran's nuclear program" -
When the informant provided the operative with secret evidence that
Iran had ceased its pursuit of nuclear weapons, the hierarchy at the
CIA suppressed the information and ended the operative's handler
relationship with the informant -

entitled "Iran: Nuclear Intentions and Capabilities," states Iran froze
its efforts to develop nuclear weapons in Fall 2003 (no pagination).
Furthermore, the NIE claims that the program remained frozen right up
until the middle of 2007 -
The NIE attempts to keep the
invasion option on the table by stating that "Iran probably would be
technically capable of producing enough HEU [highly enriched uranium]
for a weapon sometime during the 2010-2015 time frame" (no pagination). -
Doubtless, all of the saber-rattling on the part of the neoconservative
brain trust surrounding the President has caused Tehran to resume its
efforts to create a nuclear bomb. Still, the document's finding
seriously hurt the contention that Iran must be invaded to prevent the
proliferation of WMDs in the Middle East. -

Al-Sadr: An Iranian Operative

forecasted a global conference in the southern Iraqi city of Basra that

Wells
was not simply drawing from his imagination when he wrote about this
event. The writer had frequented elitist circles and belonged to at
least two elite combines, the Coefficients Club and the Fabian Society. -
Because Wells inhabited this milieu, he was privy to many of the plans
of the power elite. The Basra conference could very well be a real
future event that Wells chose to share in a fictional context. If that
is the case, then Basra could be considered the Bethlehem of the New
World Order. -
But all is not well in Bethlehem.

The greatest obstacle to conducting the conference predicted by Wells
is the Iranian presence in southern Iraq in general and Basra in
particular. -
The most notorious agent of Iran in southern Iraq today is
Shi'a militia leader Muqtada al-Sadr. According to senior Bush
administration officials, al-Sadr fled to Iran prior to the
Iraqi-Coalition security crackdown known as Operation Imposing Law
("U.S.: Radical cleric al-sadr in Iran," no pagination). -
In late summer
2007, al-Sadr's militia, the Madhi Army, besieged the U.K. forces in
Basra with a series of mortar and rocket attacks conducted from the Uti
Triangle, a flat zone combining open wasteland, marsh and clustered
buildings (Loyd, no pagination). With training and equipment from Iran,
militiamen had transformed Basra from a model for post invasion Iraq
into, in the words of the Times Online's Anthony Loyd,
"logistical nightmare where even the simplest operation can turn deadly
and soldiers frequently have to fight their way home" (no pagination). -
The Madhi Army and their allied militiamen gained complete control over
Basra on September 3 when the British soldier were withdrawn from Basra
Palace and moved back to the airport ("British Troops Complete
Withdrawal from Basra Base," no pagination). -
During a conversation with an American contractor in Baghdad,
former CIA field officer Robert Baer was told that the Iranian
toman had replaced the Iraqi dinar as the currency in
Basra (no pagination). The contractor further stated that he had to pay
40 percent surcharge to Shi'a militias and Iraqi police who had aligned
themselves with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)
(no pagination). -
Basra was almost totally in the grip of Iran and its allied Shi'a
militias. -
Charge of the Knights

The battle to reclaim the New World Order's Bethlehem began on March
25, 2008 when Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki vowed to "re-impose
law" ("Iraq forces battle Basra militias," no pagination). On March 26,
the BBC reported that a fierce offensive employing up to 15,000 Iraqi
troops was being conducted against Shi'a militias in Basra, with the
focus being on strongholds of the Madhi Army (no pagination). -

until March 30, when al-Sadr ordered his followers to cease fighting

The outcome of the offensive was indecisive, with no clear victor
rising from the conflict. However, lines had been drawn for the
conflict that will follow. -
Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq,
accused Iran of engaging in a proxy war with the Iranian Revolutionary
Guard Corp. directing Shi'a militia attacks against American and Iraqi

In remarks that clearly pointed toward the restoration of the
military draft under an Obama administration, the Democratic candidate
said Thursday night that his job as president would include demanding
that the American people recognize an “obligation” for
military service. -
“If we are going into war, then all of
us go, not just some,” Senator Barack Obama declared. -
Obama’s comments came as he and his Republican opponent,
Senator John McCain, took part in a forum on national service
at Columbia University in New York City. Earlier in the day, both
candidates joined in a memorial service at the site of the World
Trade Center, commemorating the victims of the 9/11 terrorist
attacks. -
While “national service” encompasses more than the
military, including such government-run programs as the Peace
Corps, Americorps and Teach for America, as well as private and
religious programs, both McCain and Obama focused on expanding
the US Armed Forces as a major goal of the next administration,
whether Democratic or Republican. -
In an indication of the bipartisan support for the increasing
militarization of American society, McCain jokingly offered to
name Obama his coordinator for national service if the Republican
were to win the election, and Obama reciprocated. -
The forum was co-hosted by Judy Woodruff of the Public Broadcasting
Service and Richard Stengel, editor of Time magazine. Woodruff
introduced Stengel as the man responsible for the magazine’s
2007 cover story, “The Case for National Service,” which
Woodruff said had “ignited this movement.” -
McCain was the first of the two candidates to appear at the
forum. In response to a direct question from Woodruff, he rejected
the restoration of the draft, voicing support for maintaining
an all-volunteer army. -
Such a disavowal is to be expected 55 days
before a presidential election, and no doubt Obama would have
given a similar response had he been asked the same question. -
But in the course of his discussion with Woodruff and Stengel,
McCain repeatedly connected the imperative of “national service”
with the outbreak of international crises in which an American
military role would be posed. -
Citing the Russian intervention
in Georgia and the deteriorating position of the US-backed regime
in Afghanistan, he said the American people could “see a
whole lot of things happening in the world that’s going to
require us to serve.” -
McCain also said that he would sign the bipartisan legislation,
co-sponsored in the Senate by Democrat Edward Kennedy and Republican
Orrin Hatch, to triple the size of Americorps, the domestic version
of the Peace Corps. -
He spoke at some length to offer effusive
praise for the armed forces. Woodruff asked him about the record
number of Army officers leaving the military because of repeated,
lengthy overseas deployments. -
Obama’s comments were even more directly related to building
up the US military. -
The candidate responded, “Well, first of all, as commander-in-chief,
my job is to keep America safe. And that means insuring that we’ve
got the best military on Earth. And that means having the best
persons in uniform on Earth. We have that right now, but as a
consequence of these wars, they have been strained incredibly.

After recalling his grandfather’s service in World War
II, in the army of General George Patton, he noted that his grandfather
was eligible for GI Bill education benefits and Federal Housing
Administration loans to help purchase a home because of government
policies favoring the discharged veterans. “There was that
sense of sacred obligation that, frankly, we have lost during
these last two wars,” Obama said. “I want to restore
that.” -
Obama went on to make his most direct statement of the campaign
about expanding military service, declaring: “But it’s
also important that a president speaks to military service as
an obligation not just of some, but of many. -
You know, I traveled,
obviously, a lot over the last 19 months. And if you go to small
towns, throughout the Midwest or the Southwest or the South, every
town has tons of young people who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
That’s not always the case in other parts of the country,
in more urban centers. -

Military
service in the volunteer army is undertaken disproportionately
by small-town and rural youth, for both economic and cultural
reasons. It is far less common for middle class and working class
youth in large cities, and especially their suburbs, to enlist
in the military. -
Taken in the context of a forum on national service, these
comments have an unmistakable and ominous implication. -
Obama holds out the prospect that, at least initially, his
demand for wider participation in military service would consist
of encouraging more enlistments in the volunteer army. When that
failed, as it undoubtedly would, to produce sufficient cannon
fodder for the next round of imperialist wars, the logical next
step would be reactivation of the Selective Service System, which
still exists, albeit in mothballed form. -
In political terms, Obama’s appearance at Columbia was
aimed at demonstrating to the American political establishment
that he is prepared to reject any pressure from antiwar college
students, who are a major component of his campaign’s personnel
and volunteers. -
To that end, Obama not only called for expanded
military service, he directly attacked the exclusion of the Reserve
Officers Training Corps (ROTC) from many college campuses. -
Stengel noted that Columbia had invited President Ahmadinejad
of Iran to speak on the campus, but “haven’t invited
ROTC to be on campus since 1969.” -

on that. I recognize that there are students here who have differences
in terms of military policy. But the notion that young people
here at Columbia or anywhere, in any university, aren’t offered
the choice, the option of participating in military service, I

The suggestion that young people at Columbia or anywhere else
are denied “the option of participating in military service”
is preposterous. In no country in the world is there so much media
advertising and societal pressure—largely, at this point,
economic—to impel young people into the military. -
These restrictions largely ended after 1975, but
they were continued or reestablished on a handful of campuses
after the Clinton administration established the “Don’t
ask, don’t tell” policy, reaffirming the longtime Pentagon
ban on gays and lesbians serving openly in the military. Such
a ban violates the non-discrimination rules imposed by many campuses
on corporate recruiters. -
ROTC became a focus of hostility on hundreds of campuses during
the Vietnam War era, and was in many cases banned as a student
organization. -
In response to a further question from Woodruff, Obama elaborated
on his efforts to recruit young people to become participants
in, and potential victims of, military violence. -
“Inspiring
young people to serve is something that the president is uniquely
positioned to do,” he said, adding that this could be for
civilian positions that are adjuncts to US military operations
overseas, such as the State Department, USAID or civil engineering. -
“I think there are special obligations during
wartime,” he said. “We always have potential conflicts
around the world, and our military has to remain strong and ready.
And so I want to encourage military service, as well as other
ways of serving, regardless of whether there’s war or not.
But I do think that over the last several years, the fact that
the burden has been shouldered by such a narrow group is a problem.” -
Obama returned to the subject of widening participation in
military service in words that were cautiously phrased but deeply
reactionary. -
In a closely balanced election, with the outcome still very
much in doubt, Obama hopes to win the support of the real decision-makers—the
topmost levels of the financial, political and military elite. -
Only a Democrat, he is suggesting, with the smokescreen of “equal
sacrifice” and “fairness,” can provide the millions
of recruits for the US military machine that will be required
for wars against countries such as Iran, Russia and China. -

to the idealism of youth and students, Obama is offering the ruling
class a brutal bargain: Select me as president, and I will repay
you in blood.- NOTE: It is to be remembered that Hitler as well had to come to terms with the German Wermacht in order to be confirmed as Chancellor and also to remain secure in that position. One of the most important lessons I learned as a young man traveling with my grandfather, as being his interpreter, is that one must always prepare for battle, before he is faced with it.
-
Just as a soldier must know the weapons of his warfare, train with them, and be comfortable with them, so must a servant of God know his weapons, and prepare himself before he ventures out into enemy territory.
-
It was so ingrained in me, that a servant of God must be prayed up, and fasted up before he goes out to minister, that before every tour I begin, I take a couple weeks to simply fast and pray, and draw close to God, and see what He would have me share at the upcoming meetings.
-
I was still in Romania the first few days of February, about halfway through a two week fast,
when after having spent some time in prayer, I went to bed, and fell into a restful sleep. -
I dreamt I was hearing what were at first faint hoof beats,
but the closer they got, the louder they grew, until it was a thundering roar of not one or two horses but what seemed
like hundreds. -
Sometime during the night, I began to dream.

I felt as though the ground beneath me was shaking from the onrushing horses, and the
sound of them became so loud, that I suddenly awoke in my bed. -
As I blinked a few times, adjusting to the darkness
in my room, I noticed a shadow at the foot of my bed. -
I blinked again, and there stood the same man I
have seen on previous occasions, dressed in battle armor, his hands resting atop each other before him, on the hilt of his sword. -
“What is the meaning of what I just dreamt?” I asked, somehow knowing he had come to give me the interpretation.

I struggled with whether I should make this dream public, for I know the reaction that some will have to it, and the last thing I desire is to stir fear in the heart of any man. -
After much prayer I felt I was supposed to publish the dream, and though some may receive it as a reason to fear, the true children of God will receive it for what it was, the forewarning of a loving Father, preparing His children for what is to come.

For two days
afterwards Dumitru was physically sick every time he tried to recount this dream so it
could be recorded. -
After eight days of traveling through Israel, I asked myself: "Why did I come here?
All I see is land and a people that are wicked. Why did I come here? -
After I thought about
this, I prayed and fell asleep. -
In this dream the five of us; myself, my two grandsons and the couple we were staying with
in Israel, were on the Sea of Galilee in Israel and we were looking around. -
At once, I heard a voice from my left
side. It said: "You didn't come just for this. Look at me." -
We noticed how
nice and warm it was. A good place for a vacation. -
I looked and saw a
man in white, shining clothing. He was crying with tears running down his cheeks. -
"Who are you, and why do you cry?" I asked.

"I am Jesus Christ, and I am looking over my blood relatives and my people for whom I
gave my life. -
Their sins have put a wall between God and themselves.

bring back all of the scattered people from the nations. -

I then saw a cloud of airplanes, in formation from the left (Golan Heights*) and a large
army coming from a corner (Yarmouk River valley*) with every kind of weapon. -
They had
horses, carriages, cars, tanks, and soldiers on foot. I began to hear screaming from my
right, and asked: "Can you stop this?" -
"Until they pass through hard times, they will not recognize me as God, and will not
call upon me for help." He answered. -
"You will be sad, and sorrowful when you
leave this place," Jesus said, "but after a time your heart will be full of joy. -
They will be saved. I am the eternal One.
I do not change. -
Tell those who love me, that I first loved them.

Everything that I have told you will come to pass."

"You will go in peace" Jesus said. Then there was a loud roar of thunder, and we
were looking for a place to hide because we thought that the war had started. -
A lightning
bolt came down in front of us, but Jesus said: "Do not be afraid, you will leave this

MOSCOW_ In the aftermath of last month's war between Russia and U.S.-backed Georgia, Kremlin-watchers in Moscow are worried that Russia and America are closer to direct confrontation than at any point since the end of the Cold War.
-
The rhetoric coming from the Bush administration — and presidential hopeful John McCain — suggests that tensions are still on the rise.
-
During the Cold War, "the sides were very careful of each other. They were careful not to come too close," said Alexander Pikayev, a prominent military analyst in Moscow who works for a government-funded research center.
-
"The risk of direct military clashes is (now) much higher. . . . This situation is much riskier than the Cold War."
-
Both sympathizers and critics of Kremlin policy shared the assessment of a significantly heightened chance of conflict. They expressed hopes that cooler heads will prevail.
-
Vice President Dick Cheney put a spotlight on the standoff during visits to Georgia and Ukraine this week, the countries at the core of the row between Washington and Moscow.
-
He told Georgians on Thursday that the United States will continue to back the country's NATO application — which the Kremlin vehemently opposes — and said that Moscow's intervention "cast grave doubt on Russia's intentions and on its reliability as an international partner."
-
Cheney traveled on Friday to Ukraine, which also is applying to NATO with strong U.S. support. There, he spoke of the "threat of tyranny, economic blackmail and military invasion or intimidation" from Russia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the same day that it was up to America to decide whether disagreements would get worse.
-
"We are not interested in bad relations with the United States," Lavrov told CNN. "It wouldn't be our choice, but if the United States does not want to cooperate with us on one or another issue, we cannot impose."

At the Republican convention Thursday, McCain mentioned Russia just after al Qaida and Iran.
-
"Russia's leaders, rich with oil wealth and corrupt with power, have rejected democratic ideals and the obligations of a responsible power," McCain said in his nomination-acceptance speech.

"As president, I will work to establish good relations with Russia so we need not fear a return of the Cold War," he said. "But we can't turn a blind eye to aggression and international lawlessness that threatens the peace and stability of the world and the security of the American people."

Democratic contender Barack Obama promised to "renew the tough, direct diplomacy that can curb Russian aggression."

Andrei Klimov, a Russian parliament member with the pro-Kremlin United Russia party, said he didn't think there would be fighting between the United States and Russia, but acknowledged that he's taken aback by how much more possible it seems now.

"If you have a lot of people on the streets with pistols, it is very dangerous," said Klimov, the deputy of the foreign affairs committee in the Duma, the lower house of parliament.
-
Russian analysts say there are three possible flash points, all centered on or around the Black Sea, once almost lakefront property for the Soviet empire.
-
The sea borders three NATO members — Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania — and two applicants, Georgia and Ukraine. If the two applicants join the alliance, Russia's Black Sea coastline would be surrounded by NATO.

"Now it looks like there is a certain red line that exists in the heads of Russian leadership and they are willing to do anything to stop it from being crossed,"
-
said Nikolai Petrov, a Moscow scholar in residence with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. "And this red line is Ukraine and Georgia joining NATO."

It's a crucial area for any attempts by Russia to reassert its power in former Soviet territory:

In Ukraine, the government of U.S.-backed President Viktor Yushchenko is splintering in a power struggle.

If Yushchenko or his opponents use force, the country could split between pro-Western and pro-Russian factions, creating pressure for Washington and Moscow to take sides, if not become directly involved.

American warships are deploying in and near Georgian ports, carrying humanitarian aid. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has suggested that they're also bringing military aid to the defeated Georgian army.

On Friday, the USS Mount Whitney, the command ship for the U.S. Navy's 6th Fleet, docked in Poti, Georgia, not far from Russian outposts on shore.

Russian warships have been sent to the coast of nearby Abkhazia, a breakaway province of Georgia now occupied by Russian troops and recognized as an independent state by Moscow.

In the relatively close proximity in which the Russian and American ships operate there and elsewhere in the Black Sea, one misunderstanding could create an international incident.
-
"We remember very well the Tonkin Gulf incident" in which untrue reports of North Vietnamese ships firing on U.S. ships started the Vietnam War, said Sergei Markov, a Duma member who's also with United Russia.

Markov, who's close to the Kremlin, accused the Bush administration of playing "a very dirty and bloody game" in which it was intentionally provoking Russia to create the appearance of a new cold war to help McCain's hawkish presidential campaign and further U.S. attempts to hem in Russian power.

Pavel Felgenhauer, a military analyst in Moscow who works with the U.S.-based Jamestown Foundation, agreed that relations between the countries were dangerously tense, but blamed the Kremlin.

"Russia is probing the West, as it often did during the Cold War, (to see) how far is the West willing to go: What will happen if Russia continues to push?"

Felgenhauer said. "There is a party of war within the ruling party. . . . It seems that for now the hard-liners are winning."

Aleksandr Dugin, a hard-line Russian theorist whose ideas about weakening American geopolitical standing are popular with many Kremlin leaders, said Russia was challenging U.S. domination and that confrontation may be unavoidable.

Russia's move into Georgia was "an "irreversible decision that will mean in the future a serious, profound, irreversible confrontation with the United States. . .

. The stakes are so high that Moscow has placed all its (chips) on the table," he said.

as Sluzhba Vneshney Razvedki (SVR), to begin
attacks on the United States Homeland. -
The long feared existence, and use, of Russian sleeper agents in Western
Nations was confirmed by former KGB spymaster, Alexander Kouzminov who had headed the
ultra-secret unit, Department 12 of Directorate S. prior to his defection to
the West and confirmed these Nations worst fears by detailing the former Soviet
Unions placement of their agents in these countries along with biological and
nuclear weapons to be used in time of war. -
Most chilling of former Director Kouzminov’s revelations to the West of his
directorates work was his stating the ominous warnings of ‘Day X’: -
“The formula ‘Day X’ in our documents meant
the beginning of a large-scale war against the West. -
Our Department 12
(together with Department 8, - in charge of preparing acts of sabotage and
terror on the enemy’s territory in an event of war and/or a large scale military

Russian Intelligence Analysts reporting to Prime Minster Putin are now
stating that a ‘Day X’ attack has,
indeed, occurred in the United States with the massive explosion at
the Bayer Crop Science Bio Weapons Plant located in the US State of West
Virginia [see photo second left], which
was listed as a ‘high priority’
target by Department 12 of Directorate S as not only was it owned (since 1925) by
the giant Nazi German chemical and weapons firm IG Farben (IG
(Interessengemeinschaft) stands for "Association of Common Interests), but
was also controlled

Also interesting to note about this Bayer Bio Weapons facility in the US
targeted by Russia is that it is the maker
of the dreaded pesticide

scientists state is responsible
for the catastrophic loss of bees and other plant pollinators in the United
States attempt to cripple our World’s food supply in order to foist upon
humanity their genetically modified foods designed to cause mass deaths and
pacify humans through the direct changing of our DNA. -
These Russian FSB reports further state that this Bayer Bio Weapons plant
was utilized by US War Leaders for the mass production of diacetylmorphine (heroin) from their vast poppy
controlled fields in Afghanistan, and which the Taliban had managed to eradicate prompting
the US invasion of their country, to further fill their coffers in their
never-ending quest for total World domination, and which Bayer had invented in 1898. -
The American people continue their failure to understand that as they become
the largest user of the illegal drugs heroin and cocaine in the World, it is
their own military forces that totally control the production and distribution
of these horrific drugs in their protected territories of Afghanistan and
Colombia for the financial benefit of their elite rulers, -

The selection of Senator Joseph Biden as the vice-presidential candidate of the Democratic Party underscores the fraudulent character of the Democratic primary campaign and the undemocratic character of the entire two-party electoral system.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, the supposed protagonist of “change,” has picked as his running-mate a fixture of the Washington establishment, a six-term US senator who is a proven defender of American imperialism and the interests of big business.

The rollout of the Biden selection over three days of escalating media attention, culminating in the text-message announcement early Saturday and a kickoff rally in Springfield, Illinois, is a metaphor for the entire Obama campaign.

His presidential candidacy represents not an insurgency from below, but an effort to manipulate mass sentiments, using Internet technology and slick marketing techniques, aided by a compliant media, to produce a political result that is utterly conventional and in keeping with the requirements of the US ruling elite.

Long gone are the days when the selection of a vice-presidential candidate by one of the two major big business parties involved a complex balancing act between various institutional forces.
-
In the Democratic Party, this would have involved consultations with trade union officials, civil rights organizations, congressional leaders and the heads of particularly powerful state and urban political machines.

In both parties there is only one true “constituency”: the financial aristocracy that dominates economic and political life and controls the mass media, and whose interests determine government policy, both foreign and domestic.

Today, neither party has any substantial popular base.

The selection of Biden, the senator from a small state with only three electoral votes, whose own presidential bids have failed miserably for lack of popular support, underscores the immense chasm separating the entire political establishment from the broad mass of the American people.

Obama has selected Biden to provide reassurance that, whatever populist rhetoric may be employed for electoral purposes in the fall campaign, the wealth and privileges of the ruling elite and the geo-strategic aims of US imperialism will be the single-minded concerns of a Democratic administration.

An establishment figure

Biden has been a leading figure in the political establishment for three decades.

He was first elected to the US Senate from Delaware in 1972, when Richard Nixon was president and Obama was 11 years old, and he has held that position through seven administrations. He has headed two of the most important Senate committees: Judiciary, which vets nominations to judicial positions, including the Supreme Court, and Foreign Relations, which Biden chaired in 2001-2002 and again since the Democrats regained control of the Senate in the 2006 election. Biden ran for president 20 years ago and again this year.

In the 1990s, with Bill Clinton in the White House, Biden was one of the principal proponents of US intervention in the former Yugoslavia, a role that he describes in his campaign autobiography, published last year, as his proudest achievement in foreign policy.

In the mid-1990s he called for the US to arm the Bosnian Muslim regime against Serbia, and then advocated a direct US attack on Serbia during the 1999 Kosovo crisis, joining with a like-minded Republican senator to introduce the McCain-Biden Kosovo Resolution, authorizing Clinton to use “all necessary force” against Serbia.

This legislative proposal provided a model for a 2002 congressional resolution authorizing Bush to wage war against Iraq, which Biden co-authored with Republican Senator Richard Lugar.

The Bush administration opposed the Biden-Lugar resolution, because it was limited to ridding Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, and successfully pressured the Democratic-controlled Senate to adopt a broader war resolution, for which Biden voted.

He combines occasional populist bromides about concern for the poor and downtrodden with close relations with the trade union bureaucracy and unquestioning defense of the profit system.

On domestic policy, Biden is a conventional liberal whose roots go back to the Cold War era.

Like every other senator, he has “looked after” the interests of those big corporations with major operations in his state, including the Delaware-based MBNA, the largest independent issuer of credit cards until it was acquired in 2005 by Bank of America.

In this capacity, Biden was one of the most fervent Democratic supporters of the reactionary 2005 legislation overhauling the consumer bankruptcy laws, making it much more difficult for working class and middle-class families to escape debt burdens exacerbated by the corrupt and misleading marketing tactics employed by companies like MBNA. The 2005 law has compounded the problems of distressed homeowners seeking to avoid foreclosure.

Biden defended the bankruptcy bill during the Senate debate and voted for the legislation along with the overwhelming majority of Republicans, including John McCain.

Obama opposed the bill, and has attacked it repeatedly during the 2008 campaign as a punitive measure against working families.

Employees of MBNA were the biggest single financial supporters of Biden’s campaigns over the past two decades.

In 2003, MBNA hired the senator’s son, Hunter Biden, fresh out of law school, quickly promoting him to the position of executive vice president. (While his father is not wealthy by US Senate standards, Hunter Biden has since become a hedge fund multi-millionaire).

Biden has occasionally taken positions slightly more liberal than those of Obama, most recently voting against the bill (which Obama supported) authorizing a massive expansion of government surveillance of telephone calls and email, and providing legal immunity to the giant telecom firms that collaborated with such illegal spying over the past seven years.

But he is a fervent supporter of the USA Patriot Act, defending it during the recent Democratic primary campaign against criticism by some of his opponents.

Biden and the war in Iraq

Senator Obama prevailed over Hillary Clinton in the Democratic nomination contest in large part because she had voted in October 2002 to authorize the Iraq war, while Obama, not then a US Senator, verbally opposed the decision to go to war.

This difference in political biographies was utilized by Obama’s campaign to make an appeal to antiwar sentiment, although Obama’s record once he arrived in the Senate in January 2005 was indistinguishable from Clinton’s.

Biden’s record on Iraq makes his selection as the vice-presidential candidate all the more cynical, since he was an enthusiastic supporter of the war far longer than most Senate Democrats.

He advocated measures to drastically increase the scale of the violence in order to win the war, including the dispatch of 100,000 additional US troops and the breakup of Iraq into separate Sunni, Shia and Kurdish statelets—on the model of the former Yugoslavia—which would presumably be more easy to control.

In the run-up to the launching of the unprovoked US aggression in March 2003, Biden echoed Bush administration propaganda.

At a hearing of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee just after Secretary of State Colin Powell’s notorious appearance before the United Nations Security Council in February 2003, Biden gushed, “I am proud to be associated with you. I think you did better than anyone could have because of your standing, your reputation and your integrity ...” Every major element of Powell’s indictment of Iraq has since proven to be false.

Once the Bush administration’s lies about weapons of mass destruction and Iraqi connections to Al Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks had been exposed, Biden began to express increasing alarm over the failure of the Bush administration to find an adequate rationale for maintaining public support for the war.

He bemoaned the Bush administration’s failure to sell the war effectively to the American people. In a speech to the Brookings Institution in June 2005, he declared, “I want to see the president of the United States succeed in Iraq...His success is America’s success, and his failure is America’s failure.”

Only after public opinion turned decisively against the war did Biden shift from advocating escalation to a limited pullout of US troops.

A Washington Post column in late 2005—which noted the convergence of views of the longtime senator from Delaware and the newly elected senator from Illinois, Barack Obama—described Biden as “an early and consistent supporter of the US intervention against Saddam Hussein.”

Once the Democrats regained control of Congress in the November 2006, Biden became chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where he played a major role in the capitulation by the congressional Democrats to the Bush “surge” policy.

Millions of antiwar voters had cast ballots for the Democrats seeking an end to the war, but the White House escalated the war instead, and the Democrats postured impotently and then went along.

The Democratic-controlled Congress meekly submitted after Bush vetoed modest restrictions on the conduct of the war, and in May 2007 passed full funding for military operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. When several Democratic senators voted against the funding bill as a protest—including Clinton and Obama—Biden denounced them for undermining the safety of the troops.

Two weeks after this critical vote, Biden denounced antiwar critics of the Democratic Congress, claiming, “We’re busting our neck every single day” trying to end the war. There could be no end to the war, he said, until a significant number of Republican senators defected, to provide the two-thirds majority needed to override a Bush veto, or until a Democratic president was in the White House. “We’re funding the safety of those troops there till we can get 67 votes,” he declared.

By then, the Democratic presidential contest was well under way, and Biden, despite winning little support and no delegates, played an important political role. As the World Socialist Web Site noted following a candidates’ debate in August 2007, “Biden has carved out a niche as the Democratic presidential candidate most willing to publicly rebuke antiwar sentiment.”

In the course of the debate, Biden attacked those who suggested that by threatening a quick withdrawal, the US government could compel Iraqi politicians to establish a stable government in Baghdad. He denounced illusions “that there is any possibility in the lifetime of anyone here of having the Iraqis get together, have a unity government in Baghdad that pulls the country together. That will not happen.... It will not happen in the lifetime of anyone here.” In other words, the US occupation would have to continue indefinitely.

There have been numerous suggestions from Democratic Party officials and the media over the past few days that, given Biden’s reputation for verbal confrontation, his selection signals a more aggressive attitude from the Obama campaign.

On his record, however, it is quite likely that Biden will be deployed as an “attack dog” against antiwar critics of the Obama campaign.

This fact makes all the more despicable the fawning embrace of Biden by purportedly “antiwar” publications like the Nation.

John Nichols, Washington editor of the left-liberal magazine, wrote that the choice of Biden was an “acceptable, perhaps even satisfying conclusion to the great veep search,” which could tip the polls back in Obama’s direction.

Commenting on the Springfield rally Saturday, Nichols gushed, “When Biden went after John McCain, with a vigor and, yes, a venom that has been missing from Obama’s stump speaking, it was a tonic for the troops who have been waiting for a campaign that is more prepared to throw punches than take them.”

This response only confirms a fundamental truth about the political crisis facing working people in the United States: it is impossible to conduct a serious struggle against American imperialism, and its program of social reaction and war, without first breaking free of the straitjacket of the Democratic Party.

Working people have no stake in the outcome of the Obama-McCain contest, which will determine, for the American ruling elite, who will be their commander-in-chief over the next four years.

The task facing the working class is to break with the two-party system and build an independent political movement based on a socialist and internationalist program.

On 8/8/08
this year at the opening ceremonies for
the Olympics in Beijing, an all star cast
of current and retired world leaders
attended. -
George Bush Jr., Vladimir Putin,
Tony Blair, Gordon Brown were there to
name a few. -
The obvious question was, why?
What was so important about these
Olympic games? -
On the
same day came news of Russia's invasion
into the Republic of Georgia. -
On 8/8/08,
the break-away province of South Ossetia,
an area on the northern border of the
Republic of Georgia was either attacked by
Georgia itself, or Russia, the reports
were unclear. -
For many
there seemed a strange significance to the
timing of both events on 8/8/08. -
There
was.
The date
marked one the most important
anniversaries in high Illumined societies
of modern times.
August 8,
2008 commemorated the founding of the
Order of the Knights Templar, officially
recognized by the Patriarch of the Kingdom
of Jerusalem, 888 years ago. -
The
Knights Templar are considered the
foremost Illumined society of history. -
Their secrets and power form the basis of
most Fraternal societies active in the
world today, one of the most notable is
the Skull and Bones club whose members
include several of our nations presidents,
as well our current commander and Chief. -
The Templars developed the first European
banking system and the first European
currency. -
Consequently, they became the
richest and most powerful Order of Knights
that emerged from the Crusades. -
Among
their greatest "causes" was not
only the security of Jerusalem for
Christendom but also the search for lost
sacred knowledge, the treasures of the
Temple of Jerusalem and the Ark of the
Covenant. -
In fitting with the 888 motif,
the Sacred Order of the Knights Templar’s
had full access to the Temple Mount for
88 years after the capture of
Jerusalem by the European crusaders in
1099 AD until its fall to the Muslims in
1187 AD. -
But why
would so many illumined dignitaries attend
the Olympics to celebrate this event. Was
it out of convenience that they crashed
the biggest party thrown on earth during
8/8/08 instead of celebrating on their
own? -
It was
because the Olympics originally marked the
beginning of the Greek calendar epoch, a
four year span called the Olympiad. -
The
games honored the gods of Mt. Olympus in
order to secure prosperity and peace until
the next Olympiad. -
The significance that
illumined elite attached to the opening of
these years Olympic games was its
placement on the Gregorian calendar. It
begins a four year countdown to a great
event that will culminate in Jerusalem in
the year 2012. -
This
symbolic focus on Jerusalem and the coming
Olympiad was also connected to the
conflict in the Republic of Georgia on
8/8/08. -
Since the
5th century Georgia's national
flag has been the "five fold
cross". -
The same design was adopted
by the crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem and
was used by the early Knights Templar
after their official recognition at the
council of Nablus in 1120 AD. -
The name
"Georgia" was taken from St.
George, the symbolic liberator of Israel
for Christendom during the crusades. -
St.
George's
Day, by tradition, is celebrated on two
dates in Georgia, the 23rd of
November and the 6th of May. -
On
the 23rd of November 2004, the Rose
Revolution brought the end of President
Eduard Shevardnadze's Soviet backed
administration of Georgia. -
On May 6th
the same year, the western province of
Ajaria was reunited with the country. -
The
significance of the present Georgian
conflict attains a level above human
agency in its geographical
relationship to Jerusalem and the date
8/8/08. -
The distance between the border
crossed by the Russians into the Georgian
province on 8/8/08 to the temple mount in
Jerusalem is 888 miles. -
This falls into
the category of anomalous date / distance
relationships of the "Temple
code" of Newton outlined in the book "Tempe
at the Center of Time". -
888 years
ago, the greatest ruler of Georgia,
King David II, became the greatest scourge
of Islam in 1120 AD, by running the Muslim
Seljuks out of the country and unifying
the crusaders in Israel. -
In fact, the
Muslim's considered David, whose titles
included, "the Sword of the
Messiah" a far greater threat than
the crusaders themselves. -
The Georgian
King David saw himself as a spiritual
reincarnation of the Biblical David, with
a similar relationship to God and to his
people. -
The 18th century poet
Besarion of Georgia wrote that many
battles of the Georgian Army in David’s
time were "led by a knight on the
white horse that came down from the
Heaven". -
After his
election as the current President of
Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili vowed to
follow in David IIs footsteps at his
inauguration at David II’s tomb at
Gelati Monastery on January 25, 2004. -

The
ancient significance of Georgia beyond its
participation in the crusades is profound. -
In the
"Works of President Edwards: notes on
the bible" 1830 we find:
"Magog
is, by the testimony of Josephus,
Eustathius, St. Jerome, Theodoret, and (as
Mr. Mede expresses it,) by the consent of
all men, placed north of Tubal, and
esteemed the father of the Scythians that
dwell in the east, and northeast, of the
Eux-ine [Black] sea. …the name of Gog
was entirely preserved in the name
Gogarene, whereby was formerly denoted a
country in those parts, as we learn both
from Strabo and Stephamis. And from hence
in time was fashioned the name
Georgia." -
And in
Horatio Smiths Dictionary of the bible
1872: -
"Josephus’
Antiquities of the Jews 1: 6
identifies the descendants of Tubal with
the Iberians, that is –not, as Jerome
would understand it, Spaniards, but –
the inhabitants of a tract of country
between the Caspian and black seas which
corresponds to modern Georgia."

In light
of these facts, one cannot ignore the as
yet unfulfilled prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and
39…
Son of
man, set thy face against Gog, the land of
Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and
Tubal, and prophesy against him,2 And thou
shalt come up against my people of Israel,
as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be
in the latter days, and I will bring thee
against my land, that the heathen may know
me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O
Gog, before their eyes.16 And it shall
come to pass at the same time when Gog
shall come against the land of Israel,
saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall
come up in my face.18 And I will plead
against him with pestilence and with
blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon
his bands, and upon the many people that
[are] with him, an overflowing rain, and
great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.22 -

And I
will send a fire on Magog, and among them
that dwell carelessly in the isles: and
they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

The
placement of this future war within the
last 7 years of history is debated. -
It may
be the opening conflict that rearranges
the balance of national powers. The
elimination of America and Russia as
military giants would set the stage for a
one world Government and its ruler. The
Gog Magog war might also occur in the
midst of the last seven years before the
return of the Messiah or sometime -
America,
founded in 1776 (888+888) has taken a
significant role in this end time
scenario. To what degree its involvement
will continue is uncertain. -
Jerusalem
truly dwells at the center of the world.
All end time prophecy is focused upon it
and the future temple that will once again
reside on the temple mount. -
The Gog Magog
war of Ezekiel 38, 39, the two witnesses
of Revelation 11, the setting up of the
abomination of desolation by the
Antichrist, the battle of Armageddon, all
take place against the backdrop of Israel
and its capitol city. -
These
future events will lead to the crowning
achievement of time and creation,
the dwelling of the Lord on earth with
men,
…the
same Lord, Jesus whose name in Greek
equals 888.
