Case study in South Africa--explores reflective teaching--among other topics--in relation to improved teaching and learning and increased student achievement.
Companion site to Pollard's books, "Reflective Teaching" and "Readings for Reflective Teaching."
Saving this for later...
"Analysis is sometimes over-influenced by existing assumptions"
Possible activity: After completing a context map, participants will choose three or four stakeholders in schooling (must include self-as-teacher as one of the four) and create a graphic that (begins to) outline the strengths and weaknesses of each stakeholder's position/ability to evaluate/act upon teaching and learning.
It might also be interesting to ask participants to review Pollard's table and comment on some of the strengths and weaknesses listed by relating them to their teaching context.
One sample of reflective process. Suggested course activity: Provide sample graphics--such as this one--and invite participants to create their own reflective process graphic. After completing graphics, participants will be asked to review and comment on at least two other participants' graphics.

What does reflective practice look like in its most basic form...that is, without any digital technology? If teachers are accessing TWB toolkits..they must, presumably, have some type of computer access. This, however, doesn't guarantee consistent and reliable access.
