"Analysis is sometimes over-influenced by existing assumptions" Possible activity: After completing a context map, participants will choose three or four stakeholders in schooling (must include self-as-teacher as one of the four) and create a graphic that (begins to) outline the strengths and weaknesses of each stakeholder's position/ability to evaluate/act upon teaching and learning. It might also be interesting to ask participants to review Pollard's table and comment on some of the strengths and weaknesses listed by relating them to their teaching context.
