I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating.

    Steve Job's couldn't have said it better. I am still trying to find my passion in life, though I think writing is where I'm headed. I definitely want to do something I love, or I don't think I can be happy. Both Jobs and I believe in fate and living through you intuition. It's nice to hear when someone so successful shares the same mindset as you, especially when you're almost ready to give up on it (aka finals week.)

• The first story is about connecting the dots.
• So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
