Kimberly LaPrairieThis site offers a "word root every day" in podcast and text form. Each entry tells at least one interesting story about the word of the day. Past words are available in an archive, as well. The author, Charles Hodgson, is an electrical engineer, not a linguist by formal education, but his interest in words has caused him to spend a great deal of time and effort in research for both his daily podcast and the writing of several books. His stories about words offer entertainment and education.
