Facebook is a great service. I have a profile, and so does nearly everyone I know under the age of 60.
However, Facebook hasn't always managed its users' data well. In the beginning, it restricted the visibility of a user's personal information to just their friends and their "network" (college or school). Over the past couple of years, the default privacy settings for a Facebook user's personal information have become more and more permissive. They've also changed how your personal information is classified several times, sometimes in a manner that has been confusing for their users. This has largely been part of Facebook's effort to correlate, publish, and monetize their social graph: a massive database of entities and links that covers everything from where you live to the movies you like and the people you trust.

We create high-quality information graphics that provide context to interesting subjects, time periods and events. Our work has won numerous design awards and is frequently cited in books, magazines and on the web. Most of our graphics are originals, created in collaboration with a graphic design firm. A few designs are reproductions of restored antique graphics. Each graphic is created by integrating detailed content and data with a beautiful design. Our works are developed with great care, objectively presenting accurate data derived from reliable sources. Our plan is to build a deep, high-quality and timeless catalog of informational graphics

Information is very powerful but for the most bit it is bland and unimaginative. Infographics channel information in a visually pleasing, instantly understandable manner, making it not only powerful, but extremely beautiful. Once used predominantly to make maps more approachable, scientific charts less daunting and as key learning tools for children, inforgraphics have now permeated all aspects of the modern world.
