Wow - I've been out of the web design pipeline for a bit, and somehow missed this awesome resource! Podcasts, videos, all with amazing leaders of the field. It's like going to An Event Apart, but free!
I like this summary of what each type of thing should and should not be used for as a general rule - good advice and clarification. I especially like this:
"What’s kind of funny about JavaScript is that if something can be done in another language, it probably should be done in that other language."
I've seen so much abuse of Javascript it has made me not like it very much, even though I realize it's actually a very useful and powerful tool that does great stuff.
Content and Presentation separation is the ideal towards which we strive, but it's not always possible to achieve completely. It doesn't mean we should stop trying, but that we should think about our code and what makes the most sense for each situation.
New validator that validates for HTML5!! (or other doctypes of your choosing) Nice clean interface. Used by Eric Meyer in the redesign of the An Event Apart website.

Jeremy Keith's LiveBlog of An Event Apart! Between Twitter, this and the zdnet article, I almost feel like I was there... well not quite, but at least some inspiration and information can be extracted from others' experiences.

Semantics on the web may become more important than they are now thanks to search technology like that offered by PowerSet
Article series looks at function of websites vs. "purity" of semantic html - i.e., adding a little kludge to your html may save a LOT of work on your CSS and ensure best end results.
A better title might be "Balancing HTML and CSS"
