• Homeopathy (homeo = similar) understands symptoms as signs of a body trying to heal itself, and the homeopathic treatment is to activate the body’s vitality at an energy level (which develops the immune system), not fight the disease.
• James Kent, a gifted homeopath at the turn of the century, predicted dire results of modern medicine because of the way skin diseases were suppressed. In the November 13, 1996 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (pgs 1473-1479) these results are spelled out: 90 million Americans were living with chronic conditions, 39 million of whom were living with more than 1 chronic condition, according to a 1987 study and 9.2 million were unable to carry on their major activity.
• As in the 1700s, today’s medicines and vaccinations have long lists of unwanted effects, which are generously called “side effects.” In the United States alone, 106,000 individuals (conservatively estimated) have died from prescription drugs with over 2.2 million hospitalizations from adverse drug reactions for properly administered synthetic pharmaceuticals in 1994 alone. • This “energy medicine” concept is a major stumbling block to acceptance of homeopathy by physicians trained to understand substances as merely matter. They say there is nothing in a homeopathic preparation and their preconceptions stop them from even looking at the possibility or the results. Only recently, through the study of higher physics, have scientists begun to understand something about how this kind of “energy medicine” works.

• The affection of the morbidly deranged, spirit-like dynamis (vital force) that animates  our body in the invisible interior, and the totality of the outwardly cognizable symptoms  produced by it in the organism and representing the existing malady, constitute a whole;  they are one and the same. The organism is indeed the material instrument of the life, but  it is not conceivable without the animation imparted to it by the instinctively perceiving  and regulating dynamis, just as the vital force is not conceivable without the organism,  consequently the two together constitute a unity, although in thought our mind separates  this unity into two distinct conceptions for the sake of easy comprehension.
