    •  Re: awakened consciousness - he refers to the use of mindfulness in the conditioned world and this if good but says the buddha intended not so much that we use mindfulness but that we are mindul (awake) - not  i need to do this in order to become something or to cope as much as to 'know' it... - consciousness is not thinking - it does exclude it but it is not attached to it... - it is at least remarkable that i have been thinking about tthe idea of this using of mindfulness or the I as something to help us cope in the world and alongside the more notion of awareness of moment without attachement to the use of it or any particular outcome or product of knowing (awakening) or noting...

A Guided Meditation On Loving Kindness: How To Create A Calmer, More Positive...

  • One translation of the Buddha’s teachings on loving kindness reads, in part, as follows:

This is what should be done
By one who is skilled in goodness,
And who seeks the path of peace:
Let them be able and upright,
    Straightforward and gentle in speech.
    Humble and not conceited,
    Contented and easily satisfied.
Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways.
Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful,
Not proud and demanding in nature …
    … Let none deceive another,
Or despise any being in any state.
Let none through anger or ill-will
    Wish harm upon another.
Even as a mother protects with her life
    Her child, her only child,
    So with a boundless heart
Should one cherish all living beings.

Debunking 'The God Delusion' Part 2 - Beliefnet.com

  • "The Selfish Gene,"
  • This assumption is false on several grounds. The most basic one is that God isn't a person. In a certain strain of fundamentalist Christianity God looks and acts human, and creating the world in six days is taken literally (Dawkins refers to such believers as "clowns," worthy of nothing but ridicule). But God isn't a person in any strain of Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Confucianism, the branch of Hinduism known as Vedanta, and many denominations of Christianity--he's not a person in the Gospel of John in the New Testament.

Interhomeopathy

  • Bowel nosodes: A group of neglected remedies

    by Ai-ling Makewell
  • Although the bowel nosode were brought into being during the early 1930’s there was not much attention being paid to this group of nosode after the initial experiments by E. Bach and J. Paterson. Not only there was no further investigation of their properties in health and disease since Paterson, they were not well utilized by the homoeopathic profession in our daily practice. The latter issue is much to our own disadvantage as today’s medical scientific inquiries have shown that the bowel flora play an important role in the balance between health and diseased conditions.

The Wexford Healing Centre - Cell Salts...

  • What are cell salts? Where do they come from? What are they used for? How do they affect our physical health?

If you were to take a human body at death, cremate it and analyze the ashes, you would find only twelve compounds in the ashes; the cell salts. That’s how basic those twelve cell salts are to the constitution of our physical bodies. Our bodies are made up of certain elements; calcium, phosphorus, hydrogen, oxygen and carbon. When these elements come together in various combinations, they form molecules. More than one molecule makes up a compound, and we are talking about salt compounds.
