Populista did some digging, and seems to have identified the "Gang of 18" Senators--aka, the Collins-Nelson group to strip tens of millions of dollars from the stimulus package. With some light editing, here is his list:
In other words, they're stripping out very good spending not because it's not good stimulus -- it's excellent -- but because Republicans oppose federal education funding (Head State, K-12, building/repairing schools), efficiency and broadband. Mindless.]
