    Sure! The majority of Tweets and microblogged status reports do link to vastly more extensive stuff via tiny URL's, I agree! But on the whole we want the thesis statement before we choose to read and we only choose to read if we trust the Tweeter yeah?

    Identity in 140 characters? Never has great literacy skills been more important than now.
