  Relevance - It is relevant to my curriculum. Current topic is science - Standard S4.B.2.1.1: Identify characteristics for plant and animal survival in different environments (e.g., wetland, tundra, desert, prairie, deep ocean, forest).
  Authority - TWC (The Wild Classroom)
  Accuracy - accurate - board is comprised of educators and educational advisors
  Purpose - the purpose is to instruct or educate
  
  I can use this when I teach a unit about science and biomes. I will use it in small groups or for individuals It can be used to introduce the topic or to reinforce a lesson. It includes many forms of science lessons, including biomes. It is student-centered. The website uses a tan background with colorful links and pictures. It is very organized, with each type of biome included and plenty of information.

Each biome has information about the soil, rainfall, animal life, and floral life in the description of the biome. It also has a link to lesson plans, species profiles, and scientist profiles. The scienctist profile tells you about a real life scientist that works in that type of biome. This website has information that can be used to create lessons or for students to create projects.
