      What about RSS feeds? Does Google Docs allow feeds for documents that are private? If so, I can't seem to get that to work.

      In summary, the advantages of Google Docs comparing with MS Office Live are the following.

      1) Online and real-time editing

      2) better collaboration feature with abilities to support chat, commenting documents.

      3) better integration abilities oriented web, e.g.
      a) Allow user publish documents
      b) Integrate with other apps well like Calendar and so on.

      4) mobility access

      5) possible feture of offline edit.

      Also, with Google Docs... you don't need to own M$ Office. Users of Office Live will have problems as more and more users and their computers migrate away from this proprietary platform.
