The woman in charge of staffing at north Cumbria’s main hospitals has denied accusations that she launched a racially-motivated campaign of harassment against a senior nurse.
Shirley Chipperfield, human resources director at the North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust, took to the witness stand at a high-profile tribunal in Newcastle yesterday.
