montag451 says: A few years back we went out and bought a scanner. My goal was to live in a paperless house. Everything that's important gets scanned and archived, and then your entire life can fit on a DVD. It's easier to backup and secure your data as well search through it, etc. Then, the number of papers important enough to actually keep a physical copy of can fit into a single filing cabinet. My office always looks seriously clean because there's almost no clutter at all. Plus, I sign up for the paper-less billing that utility companies offer. The only thing I would recommend is that you buy a scanner with a multi-document-feeder as it can save time, and make sure that you get can scan legal sized paper.
