The page includes a 5-step process for thinking about your topic and evaluating what you know - and don't know - before you dive blindly into the Web. Helps to define good places and tools to help you fill in some gaps as you begin to focus and solidify a topic to be researched. Includes lots of links to other parts of the tutorial web site, e.g. "meta-search engines" and creating your own "custom meta-search" in Google, the "invisible web," etc.
