The cardboard house reduces the technology of construction and simplifies needs in order to produce a 100% recyclabe, sustainable house made mostly of cardboard. Made of prefabricated parts, this house can be put together by two people in 6 hours. As it is modular, its size can vary and it can be adapted to various needs.
While the creators see this as a "genuine housing option," the house seems more like a solution for temporary shelter for emergencies or a space for needs other than housing. Its advantages, however, are undeniable: lightweight, transportable, and extremely low-cost, it is a beautiful precedent for other types of housing projects. Its other features that inspire housing solutions include a water-collecting system, storage in floor space, and excellent use of materials that can be used in other designs.
