kelly venierThe BBC webpage has fun and engaging games for the students to interact with that give the students the power to be involved in their own learning. Informal study of probability should come from students experiences appose to mathematical situations (Joyner, 2002), which fits in with my resource as it uses games for understanding. Students need to be able to distinguish the probability in situations (Joyner, 2002) and this resource provides the students with a stimulating, engaging and motivating environment with interactive learning. “Realistic concepts of change require considerable development before children are ready to construct formal ideas about the probability of a future event (Van De Walle, 2010, p. 248.), the webpage also gives teachers insight into what the students should know to play and provide teacher notes so that the teacher can facilitate the students learning to meet all needs.
