Dechelle CastroThis website allows students to create 5 different types of graphs using their own data. In my classroom of second graders, we would really only need the bar graph section, and I would want to use the site in either a small group or the whole class. I would not have students use this independently. We are focusing on creating graphs by hand and interpreting the data in graphs, but I think it could be a fun tool to use when creating a graph to then interpret the data. This site would also seem like something that can be incorporated into higher grades for students to work on independently, especially students with impaired motor skills who may have trouble being precise with pencils and paper.
