nos permitan mostrar una visión sencilla de un determinado elemento. Las colecciones de cliparts proporcionadas
por los paquetes ofimáticos son una alternativa, pero no se especifica claramente si pueden ser distribuidos y,
además, cuentan con el inconveniente de ser poco originales.
Si se realiza una búsqueda por el término "free clipart" pueden encontrarse multitud de sitios en los que hay
colecciones disponibles. Hay que tener en cuenta que el término free significa tanto libre como gratuito: que un
determinado elemento sea gratuito no significa que sea libre y que tengamos permiso para redistribuirlo. Por ello,
dado que hay muchos sitios que ofrecen cliparts sería conveniente ir seleccionando sólo aquellos en los que se
especifica claramente que disponemos de los permisos adecuados para su utilización y distribución.
Otro detalle a tener en cuenta es que, dado que muchos de los sitios que nos proveen de cliparts proceden de
instituciones educativas radicadas en los USA habrá que tener un cierto dominio del inglés para navegar entre las
diferentes categorías y dirigirnos a los contenidos que estamos buscando.
