Rapidly evolving landscapes for learning require maps and vehicles to navigate.  The development of a Framework for Professional Learning in the 21st Century aims to illustrate a map and suggest vehicles that guide decisions for practical 21st Century professional learning.   While the body of research on professional learning with digital technologies is still emergin        g this framework draws on research and standards in professional development in addition to current and emerging technologies.  In an attempt to minimize barriers to implementation and, ultimately, learning this framework is designed with minimal financial cost to districts, schools or individuals.
