"For all of you who are trying to figure out how to integrate with Google’s single sign-on functionality (like I’ve done for my own startup at, this article might be for you. I’ve taken the liberty of condensing all of the actual logic required to perform OAuth Google login, and provided it as a class and a JSP (seen below). In order to follow along better, I suggest cloning the example GitHub repository, and deploying to the application to your server of choice."

"VIE.js (“Vienna IKS Editables”) is a JavaScript library for implementing decoupled Content Management Systems and semantic interaction in web applications. In short, VIE provides a bridge between Backbone.js and the semantic web.

With VIE you can easily interact with RDFa-annotated content on your pages, as well as connect with various semantic services like Apache Stanbol and DBpedia.

All entities you deal with are managed in a centralized collection, and VIE provides ways to deal with namespaces, relations between entities, and if needed, your content type system.

VIE is used as the basis for a wide variety of tools ranging from content annotators to full front-end editing interfaces and semantic browser extensions. You can find many of these from the Widgets section of this site."

  • Selang beberapa bulan kemudian, sifat buruk Eza mulai dirasakan oleh Rasti. "Ternyata, empat sampai lima bulan baru terlihat perangai dia. Dia melihat semua yang ada di aku. Misalnya, lihat BB (Blackberry), e-mail. Namun, terbalik dengan dia dan entah kenapa tiba-tiba dia banting BB saya," kata Rasti.

Rasti mengaku, kekerasan fisik pun dideritanya. "Dia mulai memukuli saya. Saya jatuh dan ternyata dia terus menendangi rusuk saya dan saya pingsan. Setelah itu, dia gotong saya minta bantuan tetangga," beber Rasti. "Saya bangun-bangun ada di rumah sakit. Saya lihat ada dua suster bersihkan pecahan kaca di kaki saya," lanjutnya.

"NoFlo is a JavaScript implementation of Flow-Based Programming (FBP), a way of separating the control flow of software from the actual software logic. It helps you to organize large applications, especially when importing and modifying large data sets.

FBP itself is not a new idea: it comes from a term IBM used in the 70s to define the concepts of more manageable business workflows. NoFlo, however, refreshes these concepts and brings them to Node.js applications.

The MIT-licensed NoFlo library can either be used to run full flow-based applications or as a library for making complex workflows or asynchronous processes more manageable. It can also be used as an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tool in business applications.

NoFlo has been written in CoffeeScript for simplicity. The system is heavily inspired by J. Paul Morrison's book Flow-Based Programming."

Thriving since 1960, my garden in a bottle: Seedling sealed in its own ecosystem and watered just once in 53 years

David Latimer first planted his bottle garden in 1960 and last watered it in 1972 before tightly sealing it shut 'as an experiment'
The hardy spiderworts plant inside has grown to fill the 10-gallon container by surviving entirely on recycled air, nutrients and water
Gardeners' Question Time expert says it is 'a great example just how pioneering plants can be'"

Most people have 5 to 10 major interests in their lives. Whether it is food, gym, sports, kids, music, gaming, shopping, photography, movies, professional interests, medical, reading, homework ... People are also far more interested in making things happen and organizing their future than bragging about their immediate past. Could a generalist social network life Facebook or Google+ be in the position to organize everyone's life around any interest, in any region?

I already moved away from Facebook and Google+ to Linked In for anything professional and I am sure I am not the only one, nor the last one. The value of my network is not about its size but about the activities I do with it. That is disruptive, and there is no amount of instagrams or some magical Graph API that can resist that disruption."

"Nibiru Mobile is a framework for developing portable mobile applications created at Oxen.

You can use it in order to create portable HTML-based (GWT) application and/or native Android applications reusing most of the code.

It provides:

A common API for components typically used on mobile development.
Implementations of these APIs for GWT and Android.
Generic modules providing common functionality (currently, only a security module is included).

It was built with the same philosophy used in Nibiru Framework: creating a common API and structure for typical projects. But it is a completely different framework.

The components are based on JSR330 dependency injection, but implementations are based on many technologies, such as:

Android: Guice, RoboGuice, OrmLite.
GWT: GIN, Apache Cordova (PhoneGap), persistence.js, MGWT, SmartGWT Mobile, Kendo UI Mobile.

just to name the main ones.

Please check the reference documentation: (English)

Look at the Getting Started section for a quick start. Also check the brainstorming section for ideas about the future of the framework.

Believe it or not, there are people using this framework!

The API is still unstable. Wer'e working on many improvements, as you can see on the releases page. "
