"Although you can bookmark Google Maps on your iOS 6-running device’s home screen, but the experience is somewhat hampered since the web app opens up in Mobile Safari. We have come across a way on how to run the web app in full-screen mode along with the old iOS Google Maps icon for an even better, immersive Google Maps experience on iOS 6."

Things have changed quite spectacularly since, and now, the performance of the camera is a deal make-or-breaker to the majority of smartphone purchasers. As Instagram has demonstrated, we spend an incredible amount of time taking images on our smartphones, and whilst the quality isn’t at the level of the standalone professional snappers, the advancements have been such that many see no reason to purchase a separate entity for their photo-taking needs.

To the cloud, file storage service! That certainly seems to be the mantra as of late. And the competition amongst companies who provide such services is definitely heating up. Dropbox, a popular choice for quite some time (its name is practically the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about cloud storage) is being threatened by SkyDrive, which really stepped up its game today.
