Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Sciences are open. Anyone – principals, teachers, parents, students or members of the general public – may nominate exceptional mathematics or science teachers who are currently teaching grades K-6 for the 2014 award year.
Do you have an educator inspiring students to pursue engineering? Please nominate them! Here's the information. My son is about to pursue engineering and so I have a teacher I will nominate.
"Nominations of these teachers in grades 6 to 12 must come from engineers or engineering students. Deadline is March 29; up to three winners will receive a trip to Washington, D.C., a $2,000 cash prize, and classroom supplies. For full details and the nomination form, click here."
