Team USA wrestler Clayton Foster (right) defeated Ukraine’s Ibragim Aldatov (left) in the third place match at the FILA 2014 Men's Freestyle World Cup last Sunday, March 16, in Los Angeles. Foster went 4-0 for the tournament at 189 pounds, including a 7-5 victory over Iranian 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Ehsan Lashgari. Lashgari had used a takedown to tie that match 5-5 with short time remaining, but Foster shot in for a takedown with about 10 seconds left to snag the win. Foster handled Aldatov — a two-time world champion — more decisively, 7-2. Team USA placed third at the World Cup for the third straight year.
