Students will explain the function of money as well as applying the characteristics of money to a new design.

Every four days had a flap to lift for a special activity. Students have assigned jobs in the classroom such as first mate, sailing master, and quartermaster. Each day the sailing master moved the ship.

On a map, students chart where they live and where they want to vacation at. They calculate the miles and their group has so much time to walk that number of miles to make it to the destination.
