New Orleans is everywhere when you start talking about being haunted; the
cemeteries, the voodoo, the wild night life, ghost, spirits, haunted bed and breakfast and hotels.
This place just fascinates me to no end. When I visited Savannah Georgia, it had
a similar "feel" as New Orleans, but you know there is only one New Orleans and
nothing can really compare to it
A seance can be a fantastic event or an event that will scare the living
heebie-jeebies out of you! The spirit world can often be very unpredictable and
you just might have an unwanted guest make its appearance. If you are planning
on having a seance, there are few things you can do to plan ahead to make sure
everyone has the best experience as possible. I will go into this a little
further into the lens. Remember this, when you are dealing with the spirit world you need
to approach it with a lot of care, understanding and respect.
If you do a Google search for Haunted Cemeteries, you will find 7,590,000 results. That is a lot of information about haunted cemeteries. When you think of haunted cemeteries, you get flashes of movies like Night of the Living Dead and people sprouting up through dirt. Of course that is how television portrays the spooky, eerie feelings of a cemetery. But what about Real encounters people have had, or what about all of the *orbs people have seen.
How many times have you seen this movie? Do you believe it is real or just a
project to help make some college kids famous?
This is the difinition
I found on line for witch:
-enchantress: a female sorcerer or
magician
-a being imagined to have special powers
-Wiccan: a believer in
Wicca
-hag: an ugly evil-looking old woman
-hex: cast a spell over someone or
something;
How many times do you see things about haunted woods or the haunted forest? Have you ever gone on a hay ride
through the
haunted forest? Where things are rigged to go bump in the night? What about the movies that
are made in a rural part of a city deep in the woods like the
Blair Witch?
As I write this lens, I too
will be learning the difference between ghost and spirits. I know in general conversations
when people speak about this subject, they will refer to ghost/spirit in the
same context. Is there a difference? Lets start here...
The true question is this: Why are so many people drawn to spooky, haunted things? Have you ever thought about it? Why
do we pay the money to go to haunted houses on Halloween? Why do we love to watch
spooky movies, especially if they are based on true events? Oh, my goodness when
I went to see "Texas Chainsaw" and read it was based on a true story, I freaked! Did I watch the
movie yes, have I re-watched the movie? Yes!
My husband and I both love SuperMassive Black Hole. He will play it on his
computer and turn it up, our little office walls just vibrate! It is so funny.
He calls himself an old geezer but we both know differently, he is the youngest
(55 plus) person I know. One of our favorite parts in the movie is at the
baseball field, they could not have chosen a better song to play in that scene
besides SuperMassive Black Hole!!
I decided to create a part two
of my Scariest Places on
Earth lens because I wanted to have a place to post
REAL
stories from my guest who have visited the lens and left their tales behind.
This is for all of you!
Part One of The Scariest Places on Earth is based on the
television show that was guest starred by: Linda Blair. Families would visit
haunted places and explore the area to experience the
hauntings.

The paranormal involves many different aspects of the supernatural. It has a lot to do with haunted houses, ghost and spirit visitations and so much more. Almost every state, country and region has haunted and chilling tales to tell. I am almost positive it would be hard to determine where the most haunted place in the world was because there are so many. So this page is about many haunted events in houses, hotels and graveyards that I have found.
What is the Infatuation with vampyres/vampires? Have you EVER notice in the vampire film Nosferatu, there was even something about him that touched a certain place in you perhaps his mannerism made you feel a little sorry for him or something.
