fabulous portugese light show
All will be fine until someone asks the value of those fans. My answer? Zero. Completely zero. There are a variety of estimates out there with respect to the value of the Facebook fan. A panel at the just completed SXSW conference surfaced figures ranging from $136.38 to $1.07, depending on the source and methodology. What is clear is that the answer is “it depends.” It depends on how you got those fans, if they were incremental or simply your most loyal customers, and most importantly, what you do with them. But their base value is zero.
