• WASHINGTON — Sen. Joe Lieberman, who chairs a Senate oversight committee, chided the Obama administration Tuesday for not providing information to lawmakers probing the Fort Hood killings.

• According to tresearch by staff and volunteers for Mass Resistance, the state Department of Education formally recognized the conference organized by the Gay, Lesbian Straight Education Network and supervised by Kevin Jennings – now President Obama's chief of the education department's office of "safe schools" – with the credit.

• There have been multiple reports about the Massachusetts school seminar 10 years ago sponsored by GLSEN that included instructors providing explicit direction on homosexual activities, such as "fisting."
• The subject has been raised as a direct challenge to Jennings' fitness to hold office, and as WND has reported, several dozen members of Congress have signed a letter to President Obama demanding his dismissal.
• Mass Resistance now says the Massachusetts education commissioner, David P. Driscoll, wrote a welcoming letter for the conference, stating, "I am proud that Massachusetts has taken a leadership role in creating safer schools for gay, lesbian and bisexual students. More than at any other time, through the efforts of community-based organizations such as GLSEN and PFLAG, Massachusetts students, educators and parents are participating in Safe Schools programs that make a positive difference."
• In addition, Mass Resistance said "teachers were also able to collect professional development credits for attendance."
• "We can't imagine that the DOE would extend professional credits for an event unless they knew the content of the workshops.
• Two of the instructors of the fisting workshop were DOE employees (in the 'Safe Schools' program).

• A teacher who attended the seminar also has confirmed in a recorded interview with Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit blog that Jennings was the chief of the event
• The teacher insisted on anonymity in her interview with Hoft out of concern for her own safety and that of her family.
• She addressed the focus of seminars at the conference that, according to reports, provided children as young as 12 instructions on how to engage in homosexual acts.
• The teacher, identified only at MT, said, "This whole conference was his [Kevin Jennings'] dream and his mindset. This was his vision from the very beginning."

• Brian Camenker and Amy Contrada at Mass Resistance in Massachusetts also have posted online audio recordings from the seminar, documenting discussions such as whether to "spit or swallow" during oral sex and how to accomplish "fisting."
• "Of course Jennings and the Massachusetts Department of Education knew beforehand what the 'sexuality educators' would discuss with children at the 'fisting' workshop," Mass Resistance said in a recent report. "The instructor Margot Abels said so herself."
• The state instruction program, labeled "Safe Schools for Gay and Lesbian Students," was held April 18, 2000.
• Multiple WND messages left with the U.S. Department of Education as well as Jennings' office were not returned.
• But the congressional campaign to remove Jennings is available online under the website StopJennings.org. The site tells why signers believe Jennings is unfit for the office.
• "We respectfully request that you remove Kevin Jennings, the Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, from your administration. It is clear that Mr. Jennings lacks the appropriate qualifications and ethical standards to serve in this capacity."
• Dozens of members of Congress have joined the effort to remove Jennings, who has described how he developed the strategy to use the word "safe" to promote homosexuality in Massachusetts schools.
• WND also has reported concerns by Mission America over subject material in books recommended by GLSEN for school children.
• The group's Linda Harvey warned, "GLSEN believes the early sexualization of children can be beneficial. This means that virtually any sexual activity as well as exposure to graphic sexual images and material, is not just permissible but good for children, as part of the process of discovering their sexuality."
• Her report cited one passage from a book recommended for students in grades 7-12:

• What follows in "Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian" by Malcolm Boyd is a "graphic description" of a homosexual encounter.
• Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League wrote, "On September 23, I wrote a news release on the curious moral credentials of Kevin Jennings to be President Obama's Safe Schools Czar: a former drug user and irresponsible teen counselor, he is also a Christian basher.
• "What was not known at the time is that he is also a proud member of Act Up, the homosexual urban terrorist group that broke into St. Patrick's Cathedral (in New York City) in 1989 and disrupted Mass; the Eucharist was desecrated and obscene depictions of Cardinal O'Connor were posted," he continued.
• "Now a group called MassResistance, and the website WorldNetDaily, have exposed Jennings as a member of Act Up.
• And he is no mere member: Jennings is listed as a donor to a sick display, 'Act Up New York: Activism, Art, and the AIDS Crisis, 1987-1993,' currently featured at the Harvard Art Museum.

• Sen. Chuck Schumer loves the sound of his own voice, but it carried a bit farther than he might have liked on the US Airways shuttle from New York to Washington on Sunday.
• According to a House Republican aide who happened to be seated nearby, the notoriously chatty New York Democrat referred to a flight attendant as a “bitch” after she ordered him to turn off his phone before takeoff.
• Schumer and his seatmate, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), were chatting on their phones before takeoff when an announcement indicated that it was time to turn off the phones.
• Both senators kept talking.
• According to the GOP aide, a flight attendant then approached Schumer and told him the entire plane was waiting on him to shut down his phone.
• Schumer asked if he could finish his conversation. When the flight attendant said “no,” Schumer ended his call but continued to argue his case.

• He said he was entitled to keep his phone on until the cabin door was closed. The flight attendant said he was obliged to turn it off whenever a flight attendant asked.

   

   “He argued with her about the rule,” the source said. “She said she doesn’t make the rules, she just follows them.”
• When the flight attendant walked away, the witness says Schumer turned to Gillibrand and uttered the B-word.
• “The senator made an off-the-cuff comment under his breath that he shouldn’t have made, and he regrets it,” Schumer spokesman Brian Fallon told Shenanigans.
• Ironically, Schumer has been a friend of US Airways flight attendants of late, lobbying company chairman and CEO Doug Parker on their behalf after several of them asked the senator to help keep them based at LaGuardia.
• Through her office, Gillibrand said Schumer was “polite” with the flight attendant Sunday and “turned off his phone when asked to.”

• Lean economic times didn't stop members of Congress from splurging taxpayer dollars on food and drink, including a $6,090 meal tab racked up in a single day by Guam Delegate Madeleine Z. Bordallo during a visit home with members of the House Natural Resources Committee, according to a new report.
• The bill that Mrs. Bordallo, a Democrat, charged to taxpayers on Aug. 11 was the largest expenditure by a House member on food and beverages during the third quarter, according to an analysis of the members' $145 million in disbursements conducted by watchdog.org.
• House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer, Maryland Democrat, had the second most expensive meal: $5,380 on Aug. 28 at Middleton Hall, a posh banquet facility in Mr. Hoyer's Southern Maryland district.
• The menu for the Hoyer affair featured chicken cordon bleu, parsleyed red potatoes, green beans, garden salad and rolls for about 200 people, who were served coffee, tea and water -- no alcohol, said Alice Leeson, office manager at Middleton Hall.
• The spread was for a women's networking fair hosted by Mr. Hoyer as part of Women's Equality Day, said Hoyer spokeswoman Stephanie Lundberg.
• "The amount listed includes cost for the venue rental, food and beverage."
• Matthew Mateo, a spokesman for Mrs. Bordallo, said the price tag for the Guam event covered the cost of catering a meeting for about 300 island officials, residents and visiting House members at the Outrigger Guam Resort, where the ballroom overlooks an expansive tropical swimming pool and offers views of picturesque Tumon Bay.
• The buffet-style meal offered entrees of chicken, pork and fish with side dishes of red rice, potato salad and assorted vegetables. Guests could partake of pastries, ice tea and fruit punch, Mr. Mateo said.
• The resort "provided logistical and venue support for the meeting with constituents, including food and beverages, venue setup and event preparation, and technical support [such as] audio and video support services," he said.
• At least six House members attended the Aug. 10-12 trip to Guam.
• They included House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Nick J. Rahall II, West Virginia Democrat, and Rep. Henry E. Brown Jr., South Carolina Republican.
• When all of the food and beverage records for the quarter were totaled, Mrs. Bordallo led all House members with a $12,834 tab, followed by Rep. Linda T. Sanchez, California Democrat, who spent $7,233, according to the watchdog.org survey.
• The 3,400 pages of expenditure information culled by the group were made available for the first time on the Web, upholding a promise that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, made in June. The information previously was available only by visiting government offices.
• The expenditures run the gamut from the $8.80 spent on laundry services by Rep. Mike Quigley, Illinois Democrat, to the $62,623 in travel reimbursements claimed by Rep. Don Young, Alaska Republican.
• Other expenditures included $2,468 spent by Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr., Georgia Democrat, for a new carpet;
• $18,931 spent by Rep. Doc Hastings, Washington Republican, on furniture;
• $14,133 spent by Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., New Jersey Democrat, on security;
• and $17,846 spent by Rep. Donna Edwards, Maryland Democrat, on printing and advertising.
• The list of pricey meals included $4,657 spent by Rep. Jean Schmidt, Ohio Republican, on a catered event July 31 at the Capitol;
• $4,066 spent by Rep. Barbara Lee, California Democrat, on a catered event Sept. 23 at the Capitol;
• and $3,863 spent by Rep. Kevin McCarthy, California Republican, for an event in his district.
• Travel meals were calculated separately.
• Rep. Suzanne M. Kosmas, Florida Democrat, led the pack with $2,996 worth of dining on the go.

• With the recent announcement of Chelsea Clinton's engagement to Marc Mezvinsky, extended family gatherings at the high-profile Clinton household look poised to become a lot more colorful.
• With her choice of a mate, Clinton, daughter of a former president and the current secretary of state, is marrying into a family that includes a former U.S. congressman convicted of fraud; another member of Congress who fell on her sword for a future in-law in a vote that ended her political career; no fewer than 10 brothers- and sisters-in-law, and a fervently anti-Zionist uncle.
• It's a family with deep roots in the world of Jewish politics.
• Marc's father, Ed Mezvinsky, grew up in Ames, Iowa.
• The son of a Jewish grocer who owned a store in the middle of a Catholic neighborhood, he became involved in local politics as a consumer-rights advocate and, after a failed initial attempt, got elected to Congress in 1972.
• As a member of the House of Representatives' Watergate panel, Mezvinsky voted in favor of impeaching then-president Richard Nixon.
• "He was not one of those who distanced themselves from Jewish issues," recalled Douglas Bloomfield, who was a congressional aide during the time Ed Mezvinsky served in the House.
• Mezvinsky took pride in his Jewish identity, was a supporter of legislation relating to Israel and was seen as "something unusual" as a Jew elected to Congress from Iowa, he said.
• But after two terms in the House, Mezvinsky's political career seemed to be over. He lost his reelection bid, and after moving to Pennsylvania he failed in races for the state's Senate seat, for attorney general and for lieutenant governor.
• Mezvinsky's legal troubles began in 1980 but were not revealed until two decades later, when FBI agents raided his mansion in suburban Philadelphia.

• But David Gerwin, a professor of social studies at Queens College who worked with Mezvinsky at CCSU, paints a more nuanced picture.
• "He is driven, passionate and inspired, a force of nature," he said of Mezvinsky, with whom he shared an office on campus.
• While agreeing that Mezvinsky's views on Israel were "left of the left of the left,"
• Gerwin said that on issues relating to immigration or affirmative action, his approach was "way to the right."
• The Clintons and Mezvinskys have not yet announced their wedding arrangements, and despite intense blogosphere discussions, it is not clear whether the mixed-faith young couple will choose to have both Christian and Jewish clergy at their ceremony.

• OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - It was the concern of Nebraska's Republican governor over expanded Medicaid costs in the proposed Senate health care overhaul bill that led to a compromise to cover his state's estimated $45 million share over a decade, U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson said Sunday.
• Gov. Dave Heineman "contacted me and he said this is another unfunded federal mandate and it's going to stress the state budget, and I agreed with him," the Nebraska Democrat said.
• "I said to the leader and others that this is something that has to be fixed. I didn't participate in the way it was fixed."
• But Heineman expressed anything but gratitude, saying he had nothing to do with the compromise and calling the overhaul bill "bad news for Nebraska and bad news for America."
• "Nebraskans did not ask for a special deal, only a fair deal," Heineman said in a statement Sunday.
• That criticism is only a taste of what Nelson has received since announcing Saturday that he would become the 60th vote needed to advance the landmark legislation.
• Despite the perks Nelson managed to garner for Nebraska in finally agreeing to support the overhaul bill, the backlash from those who wanted Nelson to hold a hard line against the measure was immediate.
• Abortion foes howled in protest. Nebraska Right to Life, which has long endorsed Nelson, issued a scathing statement that dubbed Nelson a traitor.
• The state's Catholic bishops followed Sunday with a statement that they were "extremely disappointed" in him.
• The chairman of Nebraska's Republican Party declared Nelson's decision to be the end of his political career in Nebraska, and within hours of Nelson's announcement, the state GOP launched a Web site, , to collect funds to oust the Democrat in the 2012 election.http://www.givebentheboot.com
• Nebraska's Republican Sen. Mike Johanns said he was "stunned and incredibly disappointed," and called the compromise's abortion language a "watered-down accounting gimmick that leads to Nebraska taxpayers subsidizing abortions in other states."

• Nelson obtained increased federal funds to cover his state's cost of covering an expanded Medicaid population at what one Democratic official estimated at $45 million over a decade.
• A group called Americans for Prosperity of Nebraska was to hold a rally Sunday in Omaha at which former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee was to speak.

   "Whatever he did, they would be critical," Vic Covalt said. "They have no program and they have nothing to offer us other than more of the same."

• The final agreement may not force countries to meet CO2  emission targets, but it will grease the skids for the biggest tax hike  in human history, a fact that establishment media outlets have completely  failed to emphasize.
• Monckton told the Alex Jones Show last week that the  initial secretive draft version of the Copenhagen agreement represented  a global government power grab on an "unimaginable scale,"
• and  mandated the creation of 700 new bureaucracies as well as a colossal raft  of new taxes including 2 percent levies on both GDP and every international  financial transaction.
• Monckton said that the new world government outlined  in the treaty would be handed powers to, "Tax the American economy  to the extent of 2 percent GDP, to impose a further tax of 2 percent on  every financial transaction.and to close down effectively the economies  of the west, transfer your jobs to third world countries."
• As the leak of the Danish text outlined, such taxes,  earmarked as "climate financing," will go straight into the coffers  of the IMF and the World Bank.
• These funds will be used to bankroll the  imposition of global governance that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon promised  would be achieved at Copenhagen.
• According to the latest news out of Copenhagen, the taxes  that were included in the initial text are still in the final agreement  which is set to be passed later today or in the early hours of Saturday  morning.
• The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the final text,  "Proposes a range of innovative mechanisms for raising the money,  ranging from a tax on air and sea transports fuels to a tax on financial  transfers."
• This would form part of an initial commitment of $10  billion (US) a year from 2010 to 2012, climbing to $50 billion (US) annually  by 2015 and $100 billion (US) by 2020,
• although these figures will inevitably  increase if the UN ramps up its climate fear-mongering as it has done at  each successive climate conference since the Rio Earth Summit in 1992.
• The treaty outlines, "Penalties or fines for non-compliance,"  in developed countries and the creation of an international police force  to "enforce its will by imposing unlimited financial penalties on  any countries whose performance under this treaty they don't like,"  Monckton told the Alex Jones Show, saying that it amounted to a total global  government takeover on an "unimaginable scale".
• "We're looking at a grab for absolute power and  absolute financial control worldwide by the UN and its associated bureaucracies  and 700 new bureaucratic bodies," said Monckton,
• adding that if the  agreement was signed by Obama, the U.S. would be losing its freedom to  a "sinister dictatorship" being formed under the contrived pretext  of global warming.'

  The United States Senate reached an agreement on health care reform legislation this weekend, and they couldn’t have done it without a bit of Chicago grit.

• At least, that’s what South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham thinks.

             

  But it’s no compliment.
• Graham, a long-time friend and adviser to President Obama’s election opponent John McCain,
• said the bill, which passed the Senate late Saturday night was only reached because of “seedy Chicago politics” which have been established by the new president from Chicago.
• “This is far from over. The House and Senate bills are in many ways irreconcilable,” Graham, a Republican who voted against the bill said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sunday morning. “ …
• You know, change you can believe in, after this health care bill debacle is now becoming an empty slogan.

• Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) today took shots at those who are not supporting the health care legislation.
• He started off by citing an editorial from the Manchester Journal Inquirer, which used insults like "lunatic fringe.":

• OBAMA'S  DIVISIVE TALK
    NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE

• Barack Obama’s steady decline  in the polls this week may mean the American people are tired of the president’s  divisive campaign rhetoric after nearly a year into his administration.
• The Rasmussen  Report’s daily tracking poll shows 53 percent of Americans disapprove of his  performance in office.
• With an economy  shaking, unemployment rising, and two wars draining our nation’s human and financial  resources, Mr. Obama prefers to use the divisive language of the campaign trail in hopes  of gaining public and political support for economic policies rather than to provide the  leadership his supporters sorely hoped he possessed.
• He demonstrated this us-versus-them  style during his interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes this past Sunday when he used the term  "fat cats" to describe banking executives in line for rather substantial, and  contractual, year-end bonuses.
• As a victim of the tanking economy, one would think I would be the first to shake my  fist at another’s paycheck and bonus. I worked for the last ten years for a state  university system, the last two years assigned to a division that receives the bulk of its  funding from investments.
• University administrators instituted a series of reductions in  force that eliminated my position, which effectively put me on the streets at the start of  the Christmas season with salary and benefits to expire in a few weeks. Administrators  cited my salary as the reason for their decision. My experience, institutional memory, and  contributions to the university had no value to the administration.
• Ken Feinberg is the Obama Administration’s special master for executive  compensation. He distributed $200 million to Vietnam vets suffering from Agent Orange, and  most recently he administered the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund by putting a price  tag on the lives of those who died.
• "Dollars are a surrogate for worth," he told Time Magazine. "When you  start talking about dollars, what people hear is a ruling on their overall integrity and  value to society. It gets difficult."
• Indeed, especially if value to society is a key  factor in compensation calculations.
• The people who collect your trash every week don’t make enough money to take  European vacations, but their value to society rises rather rapidly when they don’t  pick up the trash for several weeks.
• Thanks  to changes in federal compensation guidelines, approved by Congress, the number of federal  employees earning more than $100,000 annually, increased from 14 percent to 19 percent  during the first 18 months of the recession, according to a USA Today study of the federal  salary data base.
• And that’s before overtime and bonuses (by the way, I’ve never  figured out why public employees get bonuses for doing the public’s work).
• And speaking of bonuses, the president forgot his Wall Street executives kept their  bonuses when they joined the administration in January.
• The Wall Street Journal reported  in March that the White House merely "encouraged" them to "review"  their compensation packages. A Citigroup executive took his bonus, but donated it to  charity and, one assumes, wrote off the contribution.
• Watching the president Sunday brought to mind Winston Churchill as he prepared his  country for the possible German invasion of the island after the fall of France.
• "The  massacre on both sides would have been grim and great," he noted in his memoirs.  "I intended to use the slogan, ‘You can always take one with you,’" he  wrote.
• He realized, though, the British people needed strong, positive rhetoric, and  leadership, and not cheap slogans and weak performances from His Majesty’s  government.
• Barack Obama is not a Winston Churchill, but current and coming battles demand more  than empty and divisive rhetoric from the chief executive.

• At   1 a.m. on December 21, 2009, in the dark of night, the first cloture vote   was taken on H.R. 3590, Senator Harry Reid's Obama Deathcare Bill.
• The   bill and all actions taken thus far can be found by clicking   here and, in the search slot, entering "H.R. 3590", clicking   on "Bill Number" then clicking "SEARCH".
• (This procedure   will work for any bill you wish to look at.)
• How   your Senator voted on cloture December 21, 2009, in the middle of the   night, can   be found here and also accessible under "All Congressional Actions   with Amendments" when H.R. 3590 is put in the search slot on the   main page of thomas.loc.gov. The vote was all Democrats (60) voting "yes"   and all Republicans (40) voting "no".
• You   will note that this bill, voted on by the Senate, is not a Senate bill;   it is a House bill. How can it be that a House bill was used to introduce   language written by the Senate?
• A House   bill was used, its language stricken and substituted by Senator Reid and   his co-conspirators, because the Senate cannot, constitutionally, introduce   a bill that appropriates money.
• As such,   the Senate's way of circumventing this is to take a House bill, sent to   the Senate after House passage, and strike the language and introduce   language written by Senators.
• Is this   constitutional?
• Let's put it this way, that was not what was intended   when the Constitution was written.
• But then, the Constitution, in the   words of John Adams, was written for a moral and religious people; being   wholly inadequate for people who have no morals, no conscience and certainly   no principles or standards; who believe right and wrong are situational,   pliant to whatever their agenda is.
• That   pretty much covers those currently "elected" to serve the people   in Washington DC.
• Their sole purpose is to circumvent what the Constitution   says in pursuit of their own unconstitutional agenda.
• To that end, what   the Constitution requires is just something to be ignored.
• We've seen   this happen time and again, including on January 8, 2009, when the Senate   and House, in contravention to Article II, Section I, Clause 5, United   States Constitution, certified the election of an illegal alien as president.
• It is   telling, indeed, that Senator Harry Reid scheduled the vote on H.R. 3590   for the middle of the night, being the unethical, amoral coward that he   is.
• Quite obviously, Reid believed this middle of the night vote would   keep Senators from incurring the ire of the 70% of Americans who oppose   Obama Deathcare.
• Calls   to the Capital Hill Switchboard, beginning at 12 p.m EST approximate,   resulted in the caller being 1) hung up on; 2) forwarded to their Senator's   voice mail which was either full or shut off; or 3) forwarded to a dead-end   recording.
• The switchboard refused to forward calls to the Senate floor   and refused to get messages to Senators.
• Quite obviously, this was deliberate,   the ultimate in arrogance because Senators, knowing that 70% of the American   people do not want the Obama Deathcare Bill, think they can cram it down   our throats, irrespective.
• Telling   also, is that all 2,076   pages of H.R. 3590, was not posted in the form of H.R. 3590 but rather   as Senate Amendment 2786, cosponsored by Baucus (D-MT), Dodd (D-CT) and   Harkin (D-IA).
• Want   to wager on how many of the Senators have actually read that 2,076 page   amendment to know what is in it?
• Senators   Patty Murray (D-WA) and Maria Cantwell (D-WA), being the good little Marxist   Obamanoids that they are, went along like the good little sheep that they   are, and voted for cloture on H.R. 3590;
• even though the only people in   Washington State who want government run healthcare are the multitude   of illegal aliens to whom both Murray and Cantwell pander, and the never-do-wells   who, because of their own poor choices, do not have health care coverage   and want someone else to pay for their poor choices.
• Those types always   vote for people with no morals, no principles and not values who believe,   as Marxists do, that wealth should be redistributed from those who have   made good and wise choices to those who have made poor and detrimental   choices.
• Murray   and Cantwell see absolutely nothing wrong with 70% of Washingtonians working   and paying taxes so the other 30% who don't work can live off the backs   of those who do work.
• That's called "being empathetic" in Murray's   and Cantwell's view.
• Of course,   at the same time, Murray and Cantwell aren't willing to give up their   millions to the cause; just the taxpayer's hard-earned wages.
• To date,   Senator Patty Murray has amassed a campaign war chest of close to a $1,000,000.
• Interestingly, her campaign war chest comes from four sources that should   be of note, particularly in this instance, to every Washingtonian: political   action committees (PAC's) outside Washington State, pharmaceutical companies,   medical groups, and insurance companies.
• While   it's bad enough that Murray is obviously bought and paid for (isn't that   what a whore is?) by PAC's outside Washington State, it is equally obvious   that while Murray has worked diligently to convince the people of Washington   State that her stand on the Obama Deathcare Bill was in the best interests   of the people of Washington State, to whom Murray was and really is beholden   is the pharmaceutical companies, medical groups and insurance companies   who stand to increase their profits under the Obama Deathcare Bill at   the expense of Washington residents.
• Who   wins is the very companies, groups and organizations that Murray has railed   against; who loses are the people of Washington State, in the loss of   health-care benefits and mediocre care that will result, and in the increase   in taxes and healthcare premiums.
• Senator   Patty Murray comes up for re-election in 2010. She has adamantly refused   to listen to the majority of the people of Washington State who told her   to vote against H.R. 3590.
• It's   time Patty Murray becomes unemployed. Let's make it happen.
• If your   Senator comes up for election in 2010 and voted for the Obama Deathcare   Bill, start working now to make sure he/she does not get re-elected.

• America will go through a fundamental change in 2010 – guaranteed.
• Either it will be fundamentally transformed into a full-fledged socialist police state, then, ultimately, a communist police state, or those who still believe in freedom will do whatever it takes to overthrow the oligarchy that now rules over us.
• If the Republicans, after winning back the House and Senate – or even coming close – continue to act like a branch of the Demopublican Party and ignore the Constitution, it most likely will bring into existence a third party (How about the Tea Party?) that would be the first such animal of the modern era that would have a legitimate shot at of winning the presidency in 2012.
• But, as I have so often pointed out, the caveat is that the fascist president and Congress may very well find a Chavezian reason to declare a state of emergency and "postpone" the 2012 presidential election.
• Regardless of whether that emergency is a total collapse of the U.S. economy or a terrorist attack, don't be fooled.
• If it happens, it will be a planned event by those who are now in power.

• Via health care, cap and trade and other wildly unconstitutional measures, BHO and the criminal Congress will assure that the economy is many times worse off by next November's elections than it is now.
• The objective, of course, is to bring people to their knees so they will have "no other choice" but to look to benevolent government for help.
• I believe that 20-25 percent unemployment is coming, more massive bailouts of companies "too big to fail," higher taxes, government controlled health care, cap and trade
• and, yes, jail time for those who do not obey the unconstitutional edicts of the criminal class in Washington.
• Could I be wrong? Sure.
• I thought we'd have runaway inflation and a solidly entrenched police state by the mid '80s, but I underestimated the sheer power of Ronald Reagan's personality – not to mention the government's capacity to print fiat currency and borrow money.

• Having said this, the only way that a "fundamentally transformed America" can be avoided is if:  

  1. Free elections are held in 2010 

  2. Conservative Republicans sweep into power 

  3. Said conservative Republicans immediately began to repeal all unconstitutional legislation – including government involvement in health care, welfare, regulation of the environment, government involvement in education … and so on.  

  In short, get rid of all government functions other than providing a legal system for arbitrating disputes, protecting the lives and property of citizens and providing for a national defense.  

  4. While all this is going on, those of us who are on the moral high road should be prepared to spend enormous amounts of time and energy educating the anesthetized, sports-crazy, entertainment-crazy, vacation-crazy masses about the wonders of the free market. We must put forth the effort to explain to them why liberty is the most valuable commodity they can ever possess. We must help them understand that liberty, not government handouts, gives them the best opportunity to achieve economic freedom.
• The year 2010 will be like no other in American history.
• It is not just another Carter era of sheer stupidity and incompetence. This is the real thing.

• CONGRESS:   ARE THEY STUPID OR CONSPIRING TO ENSLAVE US ALL

• There   have been many commentaries on the constitutional oaths taken by our political   leaders.
• There have even been organizations created around constitutional   oaths of which I am a proud member (Oath Keepers).
• To me, and to every   other person sworn to protect and defend the Constitution, it is and should   be a solemn duty to ensure that our actions live up to that oath.
• But   is that what is actually happening or has the oath and by extension the   Constitution been relegated to mere politics.
• I would   say that for the vast majority of the rank and file in the military it   is a solemn vow.
• I have come to the conclusion that for the vast majority   of politicians, regardless of party, it has become a mere ceremony of   attaining office and nothing more.
• I have drawn this conclusion from the   actions of those in political positions and not from their words.
• So where   in the Constitution does Congress derive its power to interject itself   into every facet of our lives?
• Article   1, Section 8 of the Constitution enumerates the powers given to Congress   upon which they may act.
• Within this section you will not find any mention   of the power to regulate education, energy, parks and recreation, how   much water your toilet can consume per flush, healthcare, or even firearm   laws.
• So where do they get this power?
• They   extract, falsely, from section 8 which states: “…provide for   the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States…”   and “…regulate commerce with foreign Nations, and among the   several States…”
• From   this they have derived the “interstate commerce” and welfare   powers terminology upon which every infringement, by the federal government,   has been made against the citizens of this land.
• But is the federal government,   Congress in particular, following the true intent of the founders and   are they maintaining the balance of powers that was so crucial in maintaining   our freedom and liberty?
• What   did the founders mean when they coined the term “general welfare?”
• On March 3, 1817, President James Madison, one of our founding fathers,   vetoed a bill for the appropriation of funds on a federal public works   initiative, which deals with the general welfare clause. Excerpts from   this letter are as follows:
• "   I am constrained by the insuperable difficulty I feel in reconciling   the bill with the Constitution of the United States… The legislative   powers vested in Congress are specified and enumerated… and …   To refer the power in question to the clause "to provide for common   defense and general welfare" would be contrary to the established   and consistent rules of interpretation…
• Such a view of the Constitution   would have the effect of giving to Congress a general power of legislation   instead of the defined and limited one hitherto understood to belong   to them.
• But seeing that such a power is not expressly given by the   Constitution, and believing that it can not be deduced from any part   of it without an inadmissible latitude of construction and reliance   on insufficient precedents; believing also that the permanent success   of the Constitution depends on a definite partition of powers between   the General and the State Governments, and that no adequate landmarks   would be left by the constructive extension of the powers of Congress   as proposed in the bill, I have no option but to withhold my signature   from it…”
• President   Madison, throughout this admonition to the House, refers to specified   and enumerated powers of Congress.
• He went on to state that this was the   established and consistent rule of interpretation for the powers of congress,   and to give a broad interpretation would give Congress a general power   of legislation, which it did not have.
• Within the context   of “general welfare” the congress must stay   within the enumerated boundaries set by the Constitution.
• He concluded   by stating that if the Congress did not have these defined and limited   powers they would be able to legislate anything using the common defense   and general welfare clauses, and this was wrong.
• If it was wrong then,   then it is wrong now.
• Thomas   Jefferson also showed allegiance with Madison when he wrote:
• I   consider the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground:   That ‘all powers not delegated to the United States, by the Constitution,   nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States or to   the people.’ To take a single step beyond the boundaries   thus specially drawn around the powers of Congress is to take possession   of a boundless field of power, no longer susceptible of any definition.”   [Bold added]
• Thomas   Jefferson agreed with James Madison that Congress must be held within   the bounds outlined.
• To allow the General Welfare clause to be used in   a broad sense would allow Congress to assume a “boundless   field of power.”
• The founders knew that the government   was to be of limited scope, power, and means. By design, it was not to   be used to benefit any special interest groups, privileged class of persons,   or groups in society.
• Rather, the Constitution was to be the guarantor   of equality, where all people had a free society that allowed for the   unrestrained pursuit of happiness.
• If we   look at the massive expansion of the federal government since the first   New Deal until today with what I call the New Raw Deal we have seen a   massive explosion in the use of the General Welfare clause to expand the   size and scope of the federal government far beyond its constitutional   scope to approach upon totalitarian levels.
• The   other hook used by our federal government to expand its powers beyond   constitutional boundaries is the “interstate commerce” clause   mentioned above.
• Again; if we read what those who wrote the Constitution   said it meant something quite different and was not to be taken in an   expansive role but a limiting one.
• Today   we here the term “interstate commerce” being bandied about,   but that phrase does not even appear in the Constitution.
• The governments’   position is that if two or more states are involved, or if a foreign entity   is involved, then the federal government has jurisdiction over all aspects   of the venture regardless of what it is.
• Let’s see if this position   is constitutionally correct.
• The Constitution states in Article 1, Section   8: “To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the   several States, and with the Indian Tribes.”
• What did the founders   mean by regulating commerce? Madison wrote in Federalist 42 that the primary   reason to regulate commerce was to ensure equitable treatment between   all the states.
• He states specifically:
• “A   very material object of this power was the relief of the States   which import and export through other States, from the improper   contributions levied on them by the latter. Were these at liberty to   regulate the trade between State and State, it must be foreseen that   ways would be found out to load the articles of import and export, during   the passage through their jurisdiction, with duties which would fall   on the makers of the latter and the consumers of the former. We   may be assured by past experience, that such a practice would be introduced   by future contrivances; and both by that and a common knowledge   of human affairs, that it would nourish unceasing animosities, and not   improbably terminate in serious interruptions of the public tranquility.”
• The   idea was that the federal government would ensure a level playing among   ALL the states and ensure free and equitable movement of goods and services   between and among the many states.
• It did not confer power for the federal   government to enact legislation on how business was to be run or the manner   in which private enterprise conducted that business even if it did cross   state lines.
• But   our congress today would have us believe that there are no bounds by which   the federal government cannot cross as long as they can find a nexus that   touches upon interstate commerce or general welfare.
• When Speaker Nancy   Pelosi was asked where Congress had the constitutional authority to enact   an individual health insurance mandate she replied “Are you serious?   Are you serious?”
• Yes profound and thought provoking! But in a CNSNews.com   email inquiry on the “Constitutionality of Health Insurance Reform”   they claimed that the congressional authority was derived from congress’   power to regulate interstate commerce.
• There   logic is similar to that of another example of governmental overreaching   in United States v. Lopez, 514 U.S. 549 (1995)
• in which Lopez was walking near a school in San Antonio, Texas. Lopez   had in his position a concealed .38 caliber handgun and 5 cartridges.
• He was charged with violating the federal Gun Free School Zone Act of   1990, 18 U.S.C. 922(q).
• He argued that the federal government had no legal   authority to act, and no jurisdiction, within the boundaries of the state.
• The   governments’ argument was that carrying a gun near schools leads   to violent acts and has an adverse affect on the area, and it thereby   negatively affects commerce.
• They also stated that having crimes in the   vicinity of schools leads to poorer learning, due to fear of the guns,   which leads to a weaker economy, and thereby, negatively affects commerce.
• With this kind of circular logic, any area in the United States could   be placed under the jurisdiction of the Federal regime.
• In the   current healthcare legislation they impart a similar logic in that the   individual will be required (read forced) to purchase insurance or be   fined/taxed.
• Because the individual, though acting wholly within his state   would have a negative impact on health and insurance commerce and therefore   impacts on interstate commerce and therefore falls under the authority   of the federal government.
• With   that logic there is absolutely nothing that you or I may do that cannot   be found to impact commerce or welfare.
• In fact by you not doing something   you are negatively impacting commerce, like not purchasing insurance,   and therefore you can be forced to do so.
• So,   if Madison, Jefferson, and the rest of the founders felt so strongly against   a powerful central government and felt compelled to enumerate the specific   powers they could operate under and added the tenth amendment to ensure   that the federal government understood that all other powers were to remain   with the states and the people, why do we have so many federal laws and   agencies that are blatantly unconstitutional?
• I cannot   believe that those in Congress, the majority being lawyers with advanced   degrees and years of study, have risen to such a station in life based   on stupidity or ignorance.
• That would lead us to the inescapable conclusion   that they know exactly what they are doing and they are hell bent on the   destruction of personal liberty and state sovereignty our nation was founded   upon.
• At a very minimum they have abdicated their oath to protect and   defend the Constitution for support of party and self interest and at   worst have conspired against the Constitution they swore an oath to defend.

• Dr Sulman also undertook a study of "weather sensitive" volunteers and showed that, during the time of the Sharav winds, their bodies would produce up to ten times their normal level of serotonin - a hormone associated with stress. He found that, in effect, they were being poisoned by their own serotonin, causing migraines, hot flushes, irritability, pains around the heart, difficulty in breathing and a worsening of bronchial complaints, anxiety and irrational tension. Also a slowing of reactions was observed. Interestingly, it was discovered that in many people, the body's initial response to positive ions is to produce adrenaline and noradrenaline - the "fight or flight" hormones - which produces short-term euphoria but eventually leads to a condition of exhaustion. (It is this condition that is thought to affect insects and animals into restless activity as the positive ions build up before a storm.) The research also showed that exposure to positive ions can trigger an over-production of histamine, which most people will immediately recognise as the body chemical that aggravates allergies. Statistically it was found that 25% of the population are quite strongly affected by levels of ions in the air. Of the remainder, 50% are affected considerably, although 25% do not appear sensitive at all.
• A great deal of research was also carried out by Dr. Albert Krueger in California - One of his first discoveries was that a surprisingly small amount of negative ions could kill and take out of the air, the types of bacteria that cause colds, influenza and respiratory infections. He then went on to keep large groups of mice in various concentrations of ions, some positive, some negative and some in normal balance. In 1960 a scientific paper was published on the results. The conclusions were almost identical to those of Dr. Sulman. An excess of positive ions led to overproduction of serotonin which initially created hyperactivity, leading to exhaustion, anxiety and depression. He also found that an excess of negative ions appeared to have a calming effect, and a reducing of serotonin levels in the brain. (Negative ions were actually substituted for a pharmaceutical tranquiliser on one occasion - with identical results). The series of experiments were then extended to include rats, guinea pigs and rabbits as well as insects and plants. The results consistently supported the original findings. On one occasion, mice were kept in a sealed container until the oxygen was almost used up and they were on the verge of suffocation. The remaining air was negatively ionized - and the mice revived!
