Learn the basics of creating a plan that will have you prepared to recover your data and keep the business running after an IT-disabling disaster.

This plan summarizes the results of a comprehensive risk analysis conducted for all IT services; it provides general steps that will be taken in event of a disaster to restore IT functions; and it provides recommendations for "hardening" of the IT infrastructure that require executive-level management approval and additional funding to implement.

This document is the disaster recovery plan for the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Department of Computing Services. The information present in this plan guides University management and technical staff in the recovery of computing and network facilities operated by Computing Services in the event that a disaster destroys all or part of the facilities.
