- It is important to consider the design of the collaborative. It should be flexible enough (pooled funding, individual grantmaking support, technical and inkind support options, operations and administrative support to the collaborative) that is offers a variety ways to get involved for donors but not to flexible so that it is unweidly (and therefore costly) to adminster and/or impossible to measure and gauge its collective impact. mj - US-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership on 2011-04-26
