This is a very useful website for current medical information such as diseases and conditions, emergency medical treatment, environmental health, workplace health and safety, healthy living and much much more. A good source for research for the the H1N1 flu vaccine for the swine flu. Information on the symptoms for swine flu, what to do if you get sick, signs and symptoms and to watch for and medications that you should take should you get the flu. The website even goes as far as to give you percentages of the United States on the people who do/do not get vaccinated. A very useful website with the most current, up-to-date medical information. I would consider this information accurate as the CDC's top organizational components consist of the Office of the Director, 6 Coordinating Centers & Offices and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
This is an awesome publication that offers any type of information that you wanted to know about nursing or nursing education. I would consider it a very realiable source as it was founded in 1893. It was the first nursing organization in the United States and is still going strong. The publication offers the most up-to-date information for nursing careers, nursing education, certification for nursing educators, government affairs and evening testing. A great source for anything you needed to know about nursing careers.
Nancy J. Clark was recently inducted into the Nursing Hall of Fame in Central San Joaquin Valley. Nancy has 40 years of nursing experience and is best know for teaching community nursing. She recently retired in 2008; however, before her retirement was a consultant for the Bachelor of Science Nursing program at California State University. Her community health efforts have impacted California's local, state and international communites. An excellent example of nursing excellence. I would consider the source of this information as accurate as it is from the Fresno State News. The Central San Joaquin Valley Hall of Fame is a project that involved Fresno States College of Health and Human Services, the Nursing leadership Council of the Central San Joaquin Valley and the Mu Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society - all very professional organizations.
The website for the AMA (American Medical Association) offers a lot of useful medical information. The AMA was founded in 1847 by Nathan Smith Davis, M.D. when he was just 30 years old. Dr. Davis and his colleagues set high goals for this association and built it into what it is today. It's purpose is to advance the science of medicine and to improvesmedical standards, develop medical ethics and improve the health of the public. The website is useful for all types of medical information - it can even lead you in the right direction if you are looking for a new physician. The website offers information if you would like to look up medical codes and the most up to date medical information for information on health system reform and much more. There are also physician resources and medical journals available. The website is an awesome source for any type of basic medical information you so desire. I would consider this website an accurate source of medical information for anyone from the general public to professionals in the medical field.
