Have tea above Üsküdar’s treetops
On the Asian shore of the Bosporus, the Fethi Paşa Grove in İstanbul's Üsküdar district is definitely an up and coming free-time destination. Named after little-known Ottoman governor Fethi Ahmet Paşa, it is often simply referred to as Üsküdar Park. After long years of neglect, it has recently been renovated and opened up for public recreation. A cafe at the top of the hill -- which you can reach by well-established stone paths, as well as by steep, narrow and labyrinthine tracks -- offers a breathtaking view of the Bosporus Bridge and the European side of İstanbul; the best place for a tea, high above the trees.
