    Mission Statement:

    The IES seeks to improve the lighted environment by bringing together those with lighting knowledge and by translating that knowledge into actions that benefit the public.
    Vision Statement:

    The IES will build upon a century of excellence to create the premier lighting community dedicated to promoting the art and science of quality lighting to its members, allied professional organizations, and the public.

    Founded in 1899, ASLA is the national professional association for landscape architects, representing 17,000 members in 48 professional chapters and 68 student chapters. The Society's mission is to lead, to educate, and to participate in the careful stewardship, wise planning, and artful design of our cultural and natural environments.

    The Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia and New Zealand Limited is an organisation comprising six Chapters which are located in the Australian States (New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia) and New Zealand.

    The aim of the Society is the advancement of the art and science of illumination and the dissemination of knowledge to all interested parties.
