"“I’m going to ask you something,” Phil says and then pauses and doesn’t ask Clint anything at all.

“Yeah?” Clint asks, leaning forward and resting his elbows on the table. “Is it kinky?” It isn’t, obviously; Phil never has a problem suggesting anything when it comes to sex.

Phil shakes his head. He looks up, catching and holding Clint’s eyes. Clint doesn’t make any more smartass comments. “Marry me?” Phil asks."

"In a world where everyone has a soulmate, and finding them is as easy as following your heart, Tony Stark is convinced that he needs no one at his side. Bruce Banner, on the other hand, is convinced he doesn't deserve anyone.

    Fate, however, has other ideas."

"“Oh sweet Norns,” Thor muttered. “He's sick.”

I am sick and feeling absolutely wretched, so wanted some Frostcap to cheer myself up. This is crack, completely and utterly. Not the pairing (I continue to believe Steve/Loki is the most logical of all Avengers pairings) but rather the situation. I wish I could blame cold meds on this, but as I haven't taken any, I can't.

The genderbending is temporary and NOT Steve or Loki."

Beautiful, fantastic series. The one where Loki is still kind of insane, and as penance for his wrongdoings, must rebuild the Bifrost. Naturally, Tony gets involved. They fall in love and it's fierce and fantastic and beautiful.

    Series. 6 parts. w: 160k

Left off beginning of part 4

Your soul-mate's name appears on your wrist the moment they're born. Steve's wrist has been blank his entire life. Tony's gone through life with the name of a dead man on his. The first thing Steve notices when he wakes up in the 21st century is the fact that his wrist now says Anthony Stark. Things get a little hectic after that.

"In the legends, Clint knows he's a hero. Yet after the fight he feels more like a damaged, blood-thirsty man, and there are still voices whispering in his head. The battle's not over - but there might be more than one way to end it.
Also, Clint and Loki are more alike than they would like to think."

So brilliant I can't even. Very emotional and "real." Built up nicely. Felt like a real story rather than a short fic.

Series, 3 parts so far. Unfinished.

Loki's punishment has been dealt and he has been imprisoned, but somehow he manages to escape and ends up on Tony's floor. Tony, who has been trying to solve the magic puzzle since Loki and Thor vanished so many months ago, does not approve of what happened to Loki. Tony sees in the other a twisted reflection of his own heart.

Omg it's so fucking brilliant and adorable and ALL MY FEELS.

Series. Ongoing. Subscribed Currently at 57.8k words. Still have not finished Part 3.

Brilliant. Sort of cracky, highly amusing, lots of good writing and story times. Lots of partying. First they hate each other, then they are friends, then Tony starts thinking too much and Steve decides to make the first move.

It's the one with Miriam, the little old lady who brews moonshine in her closet.

A love story told in food, puppies, and the occasional misunderstanding. Also, kangaroos.

  • Jul 18, 12

'Oh, hell no,' he thinks, looking down at his hands only to be met with furry paws instead of the fingers he expects.

--Or the one where Loki turns Clint into a puppy, and his new condition allows him to gain some startling insights into their resident babysitter agent.

Missing: Tony Stark, billionaire businessman, heir to Stark Industries, reward: none. Only Steve didn't know that when he picked up the waterlogged unconscious man from the bank of a river. Temporary amnesia where Tony forgets who he is.

  • Jul 18, 12

Clint Barton knows where his loyalties lie, and they have more to do with his handler than his employer. Phil Coulson takes his responsibilities seriously, and a big part of his job is protecting the specialist in his care from any threat to his well-being.

At this rate, neither of them is going to get a date. Natasha Romanov has other ideas, and the only side she's on is her own.

  • Jul 16, 12

Tony Stark sometimes doesn't make the best choices with his health. Tony is usually bad at communicating. Steve usually doesn't end up in medical, but there are always exceptions.

Phil Coulson is the one who has to write up this nonsense, and he can't keep the Avengers out of medical.

  • Jul 09, 12

"For someone he'd hero-worshipped for so long, Steve Rogers in the flesh is a pretty big disappointment. For one thing, he keeps looking at Tony as though he reminds him of someone else, and even if he never says anything, Tony's pretty sure it's his father. A lifetime of not measuring up to Howard's expectations is more than enough, thank you very much, and he's certainly not going to make an effort to live up to any of Steve's. Steve's pretty clearly failed to live up to his expectations, in any case, and that's not hypocritical at all."
