The husband makes Easter brunch breakfast
Easter totally sneaked up on me this year, maybe because it was so close to the beginning of the month? I kid you not, I haven’t even gotten out my Easter DECORATIONS yet and at this point I think I’ll leave them snugly tucked away in whatever part of my garage they currently are.
We don’t have any big plans for Easter this year. We are not traveling and unfortunately our families aren’t coming to visit. Caleb is still a little too young for Easter candy and egg hunts, so we will probably just go to church and make a special Easter brunch.

Happy Easter! Here is a project that is a cute little addition to an easter basket.
! My sister and her family are coming down to Paris today for a big Easter Egg hunt in front of the Eiffel Tower.
I love the idea of “alternative” Easter baskets! Something fun to switch things up from the usual plastic grass and hollow chocolate bunnies.
over the weekend, we enjoyed an afternoon together as a family at the park. made these for lunch one day. watched a lot of this. josh and i went out for dim sum one night and donuts afterwards. we skyped with family. and enjoyed the last of the pretty blossoms around the district.

josh made E and me easter pancakes!
it was the best surprise to come downstairs to easter morning.
and they were delicious.
How was everyone's Easter!? Good I hope!
Yesterday got so busy for us that I wanted to post a fun little Easter picture or two today, before it was too late.
Susan and her family are coming for a visit to keep me company! Yeah! We are going to celebrate Easter together with the kids, explore the city, and spend a couple nights in a cozy cabin in the Redwoods just north of here. I can’t wait! But right now Henry and I are pretty focused on egg dying and decorating.
Any fun decorating projects you’ve been working on for spring or Easter?
