Lion
▪ 1 million downloads in 1 day
▪ better touch tool was a saviour as there are a lot of conflicts with new stuff. Trackpad will probably be the answer in the end. (⌘] for single swipe left; two finger swipe up and down for mission control; three finger click for closing window; three finger + fn for fullscreen)
▪ You can put dashboard as it was
▪ where Hot corners there before? I'm using it as a launchpad launcher
▪ preview is much improved, more of a full app. For example, on videos it now even lets you look at which chapter you want. Does not stop when other window is brought forward.
▪ will stick with safari cause of scroll bar and animation, plus it is now faster and download manager is cool
▪ overall system is slower, could be down to upgrade
▪ airdrop is cool
▪ quicktime crashes a bit
▪ In mail you gotta go and add related messages on settings to see the sent and received in a conversation
▪ auto correct is a life saver
▪ airdrop only works with wifi, cause it does not work over you're normal LAN.
▪ version is nice, but scrolling through them is a pain
▪ Contacts is a different app all together
▪ Overall, it feels exactly like a .1 update, rather than a different OS.
▪ DVD player received a much needed update
▪ front row is gone
No clue as if to say if this is coming with macs in future. I would say no though.
No more NVIDIA on any macs. in fact, all portables are Intel integrated graphics, and Desktops are AMD.
Apple ditches system on chip from NVIDIA. Goes with more powerfull, less battery consuming Intel GPUs.

mac app store is here to stay people
A bit like saving names for appstore apps with Apple
After saying that, I think small things like in-app purchases should not even be allowed to be patented. But let's say Apple invented and implemented multitouch. An idea would be to prohibit implementation of that for say 1 year, then everybody can use for free. That is fair.
