But I see this as a move get a different business plan going. They must see the writing on the wall regarding tv licenses. There are a lot of people that don't bother anymore.
The only way this would be successful is if they pulled their content from other places like iTunes. It could be possible as BBC's main revenue I would guess comes from TV licenses.
