By supporting NHS trusts to improve the hand hygiene of their staff, the cleanyourhands campaign aims to help the NHS in England and Wales to reduce the spread of healthcare associated infection.The campaign is now in its fourth year in NHS acute hospitals and will shortly be entering its second stage in NHS primary care, mental health, ambulance and care trusts.
