This is a site that allows your to personalize maps of the world with stories and photos. The teacher account allows a teacher to create maps that are accessible only to the class. This would be such a fun way for students to track folk tales as we read them in the library.
This is a template for making a tiny, 6 page book from a single sheet of paper. Customizable. This is helpful for teachers, but I think students would have fun with it as well.
This could be a good alternative to the wiki I am currently using as the library webpage.
I wonder if this would be a good way to set up an alternate to librarything and shelfari. Since I could make our network private, it would be safer to use than these more open tools.
