    • He sees his own aunt being beaten mercilessly and wonders if he will be next. As an adult he writes that he realizes that this was one of the first times he really became aware that he was enslaved and what the horrors of that position entailed. He saw the injustice and the cruelty and was forever scarred. His world-view grew at that moment as he became aware of what outrages could be perpetrated against an innocent slave. On the other hand, this passage and the autobiography as a whole are records of the brutality of slavery.

Relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States date back to the earliest days of U.S. history. On December 20, 1777, Morocco became the first country to give a naval salute to the new nation.[1] Morocco remains one of America's oldest and closest allies in the Middle East and North Africa, a status affirmed by Morocco's zero-tolerance policy towards al-Qaeda and their affiliated groups. Morocco also assisted the U.S. CIA with questioning al-Qaeda members captured in Afghanistan, Iraq, Indonesia, Somalia and elsewhere during the administration of George W. Bush, who designated the country as a Major Non-NATO Ally. appears on page 2 wthout citation

    "Dear professor:
I've been feeling so upset and sad after receiving this e-mail. I've been so sorry that I plagiarized, I feel so regret for having done this. Actually, When I worked on my essay, I just felt unconfident about it and tried to get a better grade. When I was doing that, my head was full of those silly ideas. My eyes were blinded by score and dishonesty, and I also did not show enough respect for you and this semester. It’s my big fault!
I've been working hard this whole semester, and I tried to wrote a beautiful final essay as possible as i can. Before the final test, I spent a lot of time to look for useful information and materials to prepare my final essay, and at the same time, I also pay much attention to check for the grammar mistakes. From the bottom of my heart, I don't mean to plagiarism anybody's achievement. I just tried to wrote a good essay. But unfortunately, I choose a wrong way to achieve this goal. I apologize for what I’ve done. This is the first time and also the last time. I am so regret that I am feeling bad all these day.
My essay is not good, i got you final question number 4. I felt it was difficult, but i still decide to write about it. We got 4 days to prepare for the final essay. In these 4 days, I tried my best to work on it: I watched the watchmen movies and read watchmen comic book, and searched the information about Batman and Watchman. I even use to not like comic. But, to write a good essay, I spent my most of spare time and tried to understand thise characters deeply. I thought about the background of those characters, and looked for the connection between them. When i was doing those work, I saw some beautiful sentences about Batman and Watchmen, I really want to use it and i can't write beautiful sentences like that. But i did not know there lines there. I have not quote those sentences reasonable and have ignored reles. What i have done is just simply coping. Therefor, in that time, I didn't take that as a very serious mistake. Before i got your mail, I still think that plagiarism means coping other's whole achievement, or a whole paragraph, and using it as his own work. Right now, when I calm down and think about it over and over, I realize what i did is so terrible. I totally disobey the MLA format that you've been teaching the whole semester, and indeed, I did plagiarism others' achievement. If i have a second chance, I will cite it, instead of using it without say anythings, but i know it's late, i don't have chance to go back.
As a foreigner, I've been in America for over 1 years, you can't image how hard it is to join a new country with a different language and toally different cultural background. You have read my autobiography, you may remember that my dream is being a computer engineer. For realizing this dream, I've been working so hard. I think I may get lucky chance to transfer to a great computer college, and know well more knowledge about computer. Lagcc is the first step on my dream, I do not want to fail it. I chose 4 classes in this semester, and I've being working so hard for get a good grade. I have a job from Friday to Sunday, so i don't have much free time, and I even do not have enough time to sleep. I need to finish my homeworks, and I also have to earn enough money for food and house rent. My efforts have paid off, I got 3 A on my other 3 classes, and the 3 classes are all related to math, and I'm good at math. But I feel a little difficult about essay writing. I spent most of my free time to review my essay, to study english, and meet your requirements. You don't know how hard it is for me to read Batman and Watchmen comics. I am not familiar with Batman stories. And there are many new vocabularies for me. I even spent my sleep time to read them, and the only reason I worked so hard is that I just want to get a good grade on my record. I could not allow it blocking my way to realize my dream. Though i didn't understand the Watchman comic very well, but I have tried my best. I watched the Watchmen movie for twice, I just want to do my best at LAGCC, and to know more knowledge at this college. I hope I can have some good memory and experience at this college.
In the MLA format, we should cite the other people's opinion on our essay, but we must make a citation to shows the sentences are from the other people's work. We can't use other people's opinions without say anything. It's a very serious mistake. And trust me, I really do not mean it. We've been working the MLA format whole semester, and thanks for your classes. I have known how to write a MLA essay. In the final test, I just want to use some beautiful sentences and forgot to cite them, I know i may used too much words from the other people's opinion on my essay without citation, but i did write this essay by myself. I spent all the free time I had on the 4 days before our final test. I know you may never forgive me, and I know i did terribly in this test. But in any case, I should thank you for working so hard to teach me and read my review. I know you have too many students' essays to read, and you've been so tired this whole semester. I'm sorry for burdening you and making so many troubles for you and myself. It would be better if I had a second chance!
I hope you can forgive me. And no matter what is your decision, I will respect it. You may not be the best professor on LAGCC, but you are a nice and patient one. Best wishes to you. I sincerely apologize to you.
