There are some very recent articles found by searching for keywords in articles amongst Open Access Journals. We combined 'universe' and 'cosmology'. Try different combinations, but all are full text and the most recent appear first in the search results
Choosing the journal database of Stanford University, we did an advanced search for 'cosmology' 'universe 'atom' and limited it to the past 3 years. You can do a fresh search and extend the date parameters. Choose only the "hits" that have the "This Article is Free" stamp because the full text of this article is available in .PDF You can also set an alert to have digests of journal articles containing your keywords pushed /emailed to you.
We used this .PDF search engine to search for " journal of cosmology 2011" Try substituting 2010 and other recent years as well and you will net a lot of cosmology articles.
Search JCU Library - use "one search" portal. Limit your search to only articles, only physics subject, and since 2010 for the most recent articles. Limit to articles you will have access to. Take a thumbdrive and use the first two computers on the first floor.
We used 2009 and 'universe' as our search string but we ticked the article radio button on the search window. Only select the articles with the large PDF on the RH side of each hit/result.
Browse DMOZ by selecting the Physics category. Articles appear wihin each sub-category.
