LearnCentral allows educators to use a free public Elluminate room to hold large webinars or group meetings. To qualify, the events must be 1) education-oriented and non-commercial, 2) free (you're not charging those who attend), 3) recordable, and 4) open to anyone to attend. We're really excited to see what you do with this capability, and are hoping that it allows you to regularly gather other educators around curricular interests in "historic" ways.
Highly recommend connecting with Bremerton about their implementation.
Moodle, Mahara, Elgg and more!
UF has been using Moodle exclusively in the University of Florida College of Education for about 5 years. They have also integrated it with WordPress, Kaltura, and Elgg into a seamless interface, although we won't roll out the new Moodle skin until the end of this semester. They plan to have 1 Nav bar to rule them all cool
Other suggestions - look into San Francisco State University, Louisiana State University, and the University of Minnesota. They're all largely - or entirely - Moodle schools.
