This is a cool 5 minute video reminding us has fast information is changing and the role we play.
Site allows you to create really large posters using 8 x 11 paper. You decide how many sheets wide you want your poster to be and then it sets up a PDF and you can print it out.

Creative Commons allows users to find materials that they can repurpose, remix, and incorporate in projects while respecting copyrights and licenses.
A free site where you can create online quizzes for your students. The tests can include media, free hand drawings, equations or images. You'll soon be able to add audio and video tracks to your questions. Explanations can be provided for incorrect answeres.
This site allows you to check for understanding through a guided series of questions or participants can answer questions a self-guided manner. Clickers and a projector are not necessary. Students can use any device that connects to the internet. This site offers amazing flexibility to personalize comics, characters, adjust small details, choose colours, develop backgrounds, etc. The free level offers a basic comic creator and the membership or school account offers more sophisticated tools.
