This website is for children, as well as teachers. It has popular children's literature, book reviews, and activities for students. After a student reads a book, they can go on this website and do a word search or trivia game about the book. Also has a section about books becoming movies.
This site has links to various literature based webquests. The webquests are organized by grade level, and there are many different books to choose from. This is a great way to incorporate technology into literature.
The Children's Digital Library contains books from all around the nation and is available to everyone. Students can read online picture books from many different cultures. It can be used for non native speakers since you can choose to read the books in different languages.
Mindmeister is an online mapping tool. I included this resource because I think that using online mapping could be a great technology to integrate with literature. Students could brainstorm what happened in the book, different characters, and more. I think that the program is user friendly, and is more fun for students than just writing their own.
This site includes a list of book trailers. The trailers are short, and just give a short summary or description of the book. I would preview the trailer before presenting it to the class, but it is a unique way to introduce a book to students.
